I discovered bioderma when you recommended the miceller water for makeup remover (it’s available now at Costco too). I bought the cleaning oil at the same time and I’ve enjoyed that too. Also have used the Aveeno shave cream for a long time!
shave gel- aveeno therapeutic shave gel,
body exfoliation- 3-4x week
glycolic acid- start w once a day, can be used in armpits and groin
necessaire- chemical and physical exfoliator
prequel is amazing! would love to see a sunscreen (mineral) come out!!

I like Glytone’s glycolic acid lotion for the body. I'm going to try The Ordinary’s 7% toner with a spray. That's genius.

Dr. Sam, I’ve been really enjoying the Jergens in shower tanning lotion. The light shade gives just a hint of color and doesn’t have any of that self-tanner smell. I’ve been using The Ordinary glycolic acid as a deodorant and it works incredibly well. Do you have a wash cloth or loofa recommendations?
A few other must-haves for me are the Olay two step Vitamin C scrub, Mary Kay’s peppermint foot cream, and June Jacob’s papaya enzyme mask as a weekly overnight deep moisture cream. I’ve just picked up the Dermalogica powder face wash and I’m liking it a lot so far. Great for travel.
I wanted to try the Prequel Urea Moisturizer so bad but it’s been sold our forever 😢. I also need travel size of the products please 🙏
Can you talk about the benifites for retinol on the body?
What do you think of Osea body products? They are so popular. I’m interested in their body oil and anti aging lotion but not sure if it’s worth the price or clean!
Love some of these recommendations! I had already started using the Banana Boat Light As Air sunscreen based on your recommendation. We took it to Hawaii and it worked great, especially for my boys who are not sunscreen fans. Prequel Gleanser is a favorite and so is the ointment and barrier lotion from your line. Going to give the Necessaire exfoliator a try!
Hi Dr. Ellis!! I am really wanting to incorporate a retinol body lotion, but I have tattoos! Would the retinol speed up the fading process, or is the tattoo ink too deep for retinol to have a negative impact? Thank you!
The La roche posay lipkar moisturizing cream has been my holy grail lotion for the body but I’ve recently learned they are not cruelty free. I would love to see a thick cream in the Prequel line. I find the barrier cream not thick enough. I’ve been loving the Gleanser. My new favorite cleanser and I have tried tons of cleansers❤😊
If only we could actually BUY your Prequel moisturizer! It’s been 3. THREEE months and nothing. It’s nowhere to be found no restock since the first day of launch.
It’ll be worth the wait! Of course this wouldn’t have happened in a perfect world, but it’s also really important to me that once it’s back, it’s back for good.

Dear Dr. Ellis, need some help for skincare on a winter vacation/ skiing holiday: would you take off your skiing/slope makeup in the shower after skiing and put on new sunscreen + fresh makeup when leaving the door for apres-ski time? A skiing day is divided into two diffrent situations in my opinion: the cold sunny time on the slopes and then the afternoon with some daylight and no need for waterproof products. What´s your suggestion to a good protection for your skin on a skiing holiday?

The urea moisturizing milk is suppose to be in stock this week. I was told to keep an eye out this week for it. I use the barrier therapy cream mixed with cosrx all in one cream everyday. Those two together are the best.

Everyone loves the Paula's Choice Salicylic Acid toner (I personally find it leaves a greasy residue so I'm not a fan). I love the Ordinary's stuff! Their Glycolic Acid toner and the 30% AHA 2% BHA Peeling Solution.
I discovered Derma b sunscreen this year and it’s just the best! Finally my husband uses appropriate amount without thinking about the cost and without smell and without white strikes. Don’t know how many bottles we’ve gone through. I don’t know anything that beats 200 ml for the price.

Dr Ellis, are prequel products pregnancy safe? Particularly Gleanser and barrier therapy skin protectant cream. I looked up the ingredients but couldn't find good data on some of the ingredients. So I wasn't sure.

Is the body cleansing oil something that leaves your shower slippery?
I use it. It does not IMO. I believe the oil has an emulsifier that keeps the oiliness to a minimum. 😊

please, make a shampoo with sulfates but fragrance free. there is not such sing in the market
The Prequel cleanser works miracles. However, if the bottle drops in the shower, the bottle will shatter. The packaging is not safe.
Just because glass breaks instantly a good excuse to use plastic.
