Thank you Jay & Misha for taking the time and resources to test our product. We are big fans of your channel and greatly respect your knowledge and passion for AKs. We remain hopeful that you are satisfied with the reliability and quality of this firearm. All the best from WBP Poland!
WBP Rogów I've got one of these babies on layaway! Sorry about our stupid import regulations. This will be my first Polish firearm! I've wanted a polish weapon for a long time. Thank you for the hard work and excellent price for this Lynx.
Ozark Bear Arms It's still FB paint? It will start flaking soon. From about year WBP dropped that finish from guns sold on polish market. But it looks pretty, I give it to them.
A 5.45x39 chambered firearm hasn't been made in Poland since at least 1994. To them, it is an out-dated and obsolete cartridge. They made the switch over to 5.56 NATO way back in 1995.
Russia is the only country that uses 5.45 as standard. Most former Soviet member states stuck with 7.62x39, even if they were in the process of transitioning to 5.45, or they joined NATO and adopted 5.56.
I realize that this is a bit off topic, but have you heard anything about when more Lynx pistols will be available again. I missed out on the last batch & look forward to any news on a possible return to market. Keep up the great work!
i purchased a pac hellpup and have yet to fire it. was looking to buy a wbp lynx compete or as a kit in a couple weeks. the reason im here is because i contacted pac because sneaky, sneaky....they buck rivets off the barrel. mine is not an io gun. so now im looking at yanking my barrel and riveting the trunion correctly or if they made a mistake, going through my warranty claim. all rivets are not crooked at all. fit and finish was good. i just happened to note inside near the barrel/primary lug area rivet was not flat. no gap between it and the barrel. you think pioneer having to compete with fb and wbp would deter them from doing this. have not heard of any failures or walking rivets. just an observation. i will start an akfiles account this week sometime
I'll say what I said on atlantic's video on the same thing: ooks like a nice alternative to a full length Draco. Any chance we might see full length rifles coming from WBP with similar specs?
Unfortunately yes. the RAS47 is selling like hotcakes because people want a "AK47" and figure that according to legend theres no such thing as a bad AK
Besides things we can’t control ( Import sanctions and “military contracts” ) the sole blame is to be put the importers. You either have one cutting of superior competition to protect sales of its tRASh rifles. Or having purposely restricted imports with vastly fewer features for the same price. It’s a damn shame what the Kalashnikov market has become these days but hopefully WBP is going to change that.
nice review, hoping to see more rifles from wbp-love the cg1 thus far and this mini jack style is a interesting option-waiting to see the how to video on how to thread the muzzle--
This looks awesome! Are you considering making it into an SBR and an under flipper and reporting back? I'm wondering how comfortable that would be with a 10 inch barrel. Anyhow, I am pretty excited! Keep on keeping on!
Pray tell, what sorts of ideas have you been hearing? :^) This looks tempting! Any info on what's the muzzle device plunger situation? There doesn't seem to be one.
Since they work closely with FB Radom, I hope they bring over a 556 Beryl rifle clone. I would definitely buy that especially if it had the FB Radom AR mag adapter that they offer for export sales of the Beryl.
Adam I was hearing that STANAG adapters were not reliable, but thats internet forum third hand information from soldiers testing them. Personally - I would stay with rock in magazine, rifle was designed for them, you start dicking with it, you ask for malfunctions.
We've done reviews on a few other of their kit builds and impressions were very good. Check out our channel (search WBP) for the other vids. Thanks! - Jay
This is the first true WBP import. We have videos on the USA guns built from WBP parts though. We did some on the WBP CG1 and WBP Beryl Style. You can find them in the Polish Firearms playlist, cheers.
I had a Romanian Draco that was decked out and was pretty accurate up to 300yds. Maybe cuz of the longer barrel and the 8x scope I had on it. I know AK does 1in10 twist rate , so i wonder if the bullet is still stabilized enough in this 10in barrel for at least 100yds? Anybody got the trigger time on the lynx to vouch for it ?
No mods required. PM63 HGs would fit just fine, but if you wanted a dong, you'd have to SBR it or make it into a carbine. Otherwise the ATF wouldn't like having a VFG on a 'pistol.'
Thank you Jay & Misha for taking the time and resources to test our product. We are big fans of your channel and greatly respect your knowledge and passion for AKs. We remain hopeful that you are satisfied with the reliability and quality of this firearm. All the best from WBP Poland!
keep using paint for the finish it is the original finish for ak's and is beautiful the black shade you guys use is perfect
WBP Rogów I've got one of these babies on layaway! Sorry about our stupid import regulations. This will be my first Polish firearm! I've wanted a polish weapon for a long time. Thank you for the hard work and excellent price for this Lynx.
WBP Rogów I’m buying one so please keep sending em
Please make these in 5.45 x 39, I will buy two!
Just bought one, should be here in another day or so; hard to wait !
Fit and finish looks top notch on that! New imports woooo!
Finish is identical to FB-Radom....as in the same brand of paint.
Ozark Bear Arms It's still FB paint? It will start flaking soon. From about year WBP dropped that finish from guns sold on polish market. But it looks pretty, I give it to them.
Great news!!!Every time i see new AKs in the market it mkes me happy.Thank you Misha for staying on top of the game like always.
Thanks for watching. Back from the range, report video coming soon.
Man I wish there would be a resurgence in 74 style rifles love me some 74’s
A 5.45x39 chambered firearm hasn't been made in Poland since at least 1994. To them, it is an out-dated and obsolete cartridge. They made the switch over to 5.56 NATO way back in 1995.
Ozark Bear Arms I would not call it outdated, just dropped because logistics and politics when we joined our new belowed Big Brother
Unfortunately it seems 5.45 is fadeing to obsolescence at this point
Just using the words the Polish military did back in the '90s when retiring the 5.45x39 and Wz.88.
Russia is the only country that uses 5.45 as standard. Most former Soviet member states stuck with 7.62x39, even if they were in the process of transitioning to 5.45, or they joined NATO and adopted 5.56.
Let's hope in the future wbp will bring in Tantal rifles in 5.45x39
God, I can only hope.
Very doubtful. Poland hasn't manufactured a 5.45mm rifle for 25 years. They have no interest in the cartridge at all.
Hope if you like, but it ain't happening.
Ozark Bear Arms the funny thing is FB still makes barrels and 5.45x39
Ozark Bear Arms what about the chances of them bringing in milled receiver ak's or better yet a dragonovs
I realize that this is a bit off topic, but have you heard anything about when more Lynx pistols will be available again. I missed out on the last batch & look forward to any news on a possible return to market.
Keep up the great work!
The BCG is beautiful, very nice looking firearm
union steel the what?
Bolt carrier group
Yeah, it is a nicely machined part.
I scrolled passed this several times thinking it was a US kit build, now I think I need one. Love that FSB and shorter/fatter krink device
i purchased a pac hellpup and have yet to fire it. was looking to buy a wbp lynx compete or as a kit in a couple weeks.

Yes! Got one on the way!
Bet you'll like it.
Ozark Bear Arms
Cool. Did you guys go out and shoot yours today?
I have to admit that I like the black hand guards over the wood on this model. Nice pistol missed see ya while you spoke.
Do standard handguards fit on hellpups?
I'll say what I said on atlantic's video on the same thing: ooks like a nice alternative to a full length Draco. Any chance we might see full length rifles coming from WBP with similar specs?
Wait & See....
I'm sure that's their plan
Ozark Bear Arms - Boi, don't tease me like that.
Could they make a pistol with the Beryl optic mount? That would be awesome!
Yes, but it would need to use the Mini Beryl style as a pistol.
I don’t understand why the ak market has been so horrible because ak’s have exploded in ownership rates. It’s probably because of the c39’s and RAS47
Unfortunately yes. the RAS47 is selling like hotcakes because people want a "AK47" and figure that according to legend theres no such thing as a bad AK
And others can be very picky and only want to buy 'perfect' rifles. One wiff of a negative, and they're gone.
Thanks Misha! I'm not much into the pistols but I may get one at some point.
nice review, hoping to see more rifles from wbp-love the cg1 thus far and this mini jack style is a interesting option-waiting to see the how to video on how to thread the muzzle--
I don't think people will be disappointed as WBP is excited to expand the product line as much as is possible and as long as the ATF approves.
Would love to see the rifle version, or at least a factory threaded barrel, for the price.
KC Ghostt can't just be happy!
rjonzen34 I'm happy we're getting more imports. I know things will improve. Baby steps.
This looks awesome! Are you considering making it into an SBR and an under flipper and reporting back? I'm wondering how comfortable that would be with a 10 inch barrel. Anyhow, I am pretty excited! Keep on keeping on!
I have a UF stock on my M92PV, and actually it is a lot of fun. This Lynx has the same length of barrel, so I am guessing it would be similar.
How will the underfolder work with the side rail? Thanks for the in-depth overview.
bryce duvall There was special underfolder stock for AKMSŁ (rail version), so if you find it you are good to go.
Pray tell, what sorts of ideas have you been hearing? :^) This looks tempting!
Any info on what's the muzzle device plunger situation? There doesn't seem to be one.
Atlantic commented on their thread in AK Files saying there apparently is a plunger. We'll have to wait til the reviews are out I guess.
If you were to convert it to an underfolder, wouldn't the optic mount get in the way?
Was dead set on a pap but daymmmm. Side mount? Sold. Fit and finish looks great
New tires can wait a few more weeks
some people spend thousands of dollars on diets....or they just could get into firearms, problem solved!
So is Zastava not out of business???? I.E M92 & M70?!
I wish wbp or fb radom would make a .223 beryl clone available in the states.
Francis Petro They are making this since many years.
I like that side optic rail. Think they will send some over? Would like to add one on my AMD65 when I rebuild on a new 80% receiver. @Armsofamerica
Check with Arms of America. I bet they can get you the rail.
Since they work closely with FB Radom, I hope they bring over a 556 Beryl rifle clone. I would definitely buy that especially if it had the FB Radom AR mag adapter that they offer for export sales of the Beryl.
We'll just have to see what happens.
Adam I was hearing that STANAG adapters were not reliable, but thats internet forum third hand information from soldiers testing them. Personally - I would stay with rock in magazine, rifle was designed for them, you start dicking with it, you ask for malfunctions.
I like the look, but I definitely prefer side folders.
Same
God I love misha! Much love, keep up the vids. I like the voiceover, as well as the new offering.
Thank you much
Any possibility of WBP getting permission to produce Beryl rifles for the US market?
Andre Krumins zero chance.. less than zero
Another great video by Misha.
Thank you much
Smart move, the only competition is the WASR. Arsenal priced theirselves out.
Atlantic's intro price on the Lynx w/ 2 HG sets is $650, so while not cheap, isn't at all expensive when compared with the competition.
What you mean you don’t like paying $1,000 for a basic AKM?
MattyLight30 There is no AK worth 1000$ in my opinion.
Anyone know why these are not around anymore at all? Haven't seen any sites have these in stock for over a year.
Nevermind. Just listened to the entire video.. I wish they made more of these.
What is your opinion on the other WBP Offerings from Atlantic Firearms?
We've done reviews on a few other of their kit builds and impressions were very good. Check out our channel (search WBP) for the other vids. Thanks! - Jay
This is the first true WBP import. We have videos on the USA guns built from WBP parts though. We did some on the WBP CG1 and WBP Beryl Style. You can find them in the Polish Firearms playlist, cheers.
Misha = the human encyclopedia(s)
Should a guy wait until the kinks are worked out or strike while the iron is hot?
Wait until it's tested by ak union
Are you going to list this for sale? 😀
The pictured one? no, that's ours for testing. So we'll mod it a bit, see how it does, etc.
Can you get a holster for this pistol ?? (LOL)
Very NOICE 👍🏽🗣
We're liking it so far. The finish is nice for sure. Range day tomorrow so.....
Looks promising.
Thanks for watching

I'll keep my mini draco. Love it, can't be improved
Nice but don’t think I could pass up the Sam7k for this...
Get both? hehe
Thanks!
I am so stocked!
Atlantic Firearms is stocked also, with WBP AK47 Lynx pistols
If I owned one of those I’d modify it to take PM.63 handguards
No mods required. PM63 HGs would fit just fine, but if you wanted a dong, you'd have to SBR it or make it into a carbine. Otherwise the ATF wouldn't like having a VFG on a 'pistol.'
If they could do some 5.45 stuff that'd be awesome
"Ain't" happenin'
So these are real imported pistols and not parts kit builds like the previous WBP and Circle 11 rifles correct?
Metzger my exact question too. Are these built in their factory in Poland and then adjust to fit the US laws????
Yep, right there in the title & stated in the video a couple times. Nothing American about them .
Bad ass actually
Make a SBR
Or just toss on a brace.
I feel kinda funny in my crotch area now
Feed those crabs, they be hungry I guess.
Ozark Bear Arms wish they would do a 5.45
I feel kinda funny in your crotch area too. Weird.
0177 check'em
Not California legal.
Frank Nash
What is?
Adam...... slingshots
Move to Nevada, brother. Still fighting for Cali.
Ironclad Legion ya I heard it is only a California thing.
