Can the onscreen vessel control function manipulate RPMs.? In other words, could I control my trolling speed by toggling up or down on one of these enabled Lowrance units if the vessel view link has been installed?

Very cool vid.. how can I see hours on engine.. or set it to track current run time hours? I’m having a hard time finding that ok my vessel view with Lowrance elite Ti2

Is there a difference in screens on the HDS when you use a Vessel View 4, Vessel View 7 or Vessel View Link. You have a video that had a very cool touch screen that had more functionality than this video shows. Is that because it was a different Vessel View unit?

Got this on my Merc 150 and Lowrance Elite FS9 and it hasn't worked yet. Nobody knows how to set it up it seems. They can install it and bill you for it but they can't make it work. Very Very frustrating

Ha, I am repowering with a 2023 Merc 115, and I just got an Elite FS9 also. I will be fighting the same battle you have, and I think it takes a 4 port "junction" adapter for the 10 pin harness that goes to the gauges up in the helm, then, a 10 Pin to NMEA2000 adapter, hook everything up to a powered NMEA network, and will keep my fingers crossed. I will be ( motor install is within the next few weeks) using a SC1000 tach, and from what I can tell it will basically be the NMEA gateway device, that will send motor info to the network. I might create a video if I can make this all work for those who are struggling with it, IF I succeed.

@@jeremywatts710do you have the vessel view link installed? If so, could you walk me through installation? Do I need the junction box and do I need a blue cable?

If the hds gen 3 has blue tooth. Why not just get the vessel view modular. For the engine and down load the app on the gen 3

@@motohobo8826 hey I'm still using the mobile link version but was told that if you have the vessel view module installed that they will link up to your other lowrance units if they are ethernet connected and you have the mercury enterface enabled on each unit

Why is the concept of SHOWING the connection procedure of these devices so difficult. There is not a single video where it is shown HOW everything is hooked up. Otherwise great video.
