Being single is hard. A relationship is hard. Raising kids is hard. Having no kids is hard. At the end of the day, life is not always peaches and cream 🤷♀️ just pick youre battles
A retired, successful career woman wrote. I put my career and acquiring things above having a husband and children. My friends are married with children and grandchildren and I am alone in my big house surrounded by material things that now don't matter one bit. To me now, successful women have a loving husband and children. I succeeded in my career but it gave me a very lonely life. I find myself taking people to lunch and dinner just to have somebody to talk to. If I could do things over I would place a husband and children first and place my career last.

I’ve been married and divorced in my late 20s(No kids). I’m now 35 and have been single ever since and plan to stay that way. Trust me when I say this, you’re not missing anything. Find things in life that make you happy and bring you joy and live for you.
@@SteveB88 as a man you have another 20 years-and you can still find a wife and start a complete family. Women dont have that luxury. a woman has just before 40 to figure out whether she will have kids or not.
@@djkizzo152 I do see your point, and you are right about that. But in my case, I have no desire for kids nor did my ex-wife, or want to be a parent so it does make things a little different for me. But coming from someone who has been married, people have been fed such a false narrative from Disney, the Internet, and many are places that “ so and so got married and lived happily ever after” That is the biggest load of BS. If you are not happy with yourself in your own life, no one person or thing is going to change that for you.
I have recently been feeling like a "leftover" woman at 35 and alone. Always was in long-term serious relationships, but those unfortunately ended. But I also see women who did the "right" thing in getting married and having kids. Now they are divorced, and the children grew up and moved away. They ended up alone afterall. I'm just trying to remember that starting a nuclear family holds no long-term promises of companionship or stability.
That’s because women initiate 80% of all divorces. That number jumps to 90% if she has a college degree. And if I were a betting man, I’d bet that you ended all your relationships too. Enjoy your cats and boxed wine.

For those who are single and without kids in their 30s/40s… don’t be too sad. I’m 43, married, one child … and I have never felt so lonely or sad in my life as I do now. NOTHING is easy when it comes to relationships. We have to make ourselves happy, no one else will give that to us.
You should try actually fixing your marriage. Unless you just married the first guy who would impregnate you, you obviously loved each other in the beginning. If love existed once, it can again. Truth, love and courage. Stop lying to yourself and each other. Have the courage to speak the truth with love. Tell your spouse that you want to fix things and improve them. Nurture love instead of nurturing hatred and resentment. Stop blaming each other and start taking responsibility for your own actions. For the past 60 years, children have been endlessly harmed by the selfishness of their parents. Give your child the loving environment he or she deserves. That's the bare minimum you owe the child.
@KikiNation1 - advise like this, is what lead to many women like this woman. Do you think you’d be happier if you were single and childless yourself at your age or later..?

Currently 37 turning 38 in about a month. I’m still single and never been married. I’m still enjoying being single doing the things I want to do while still being vigilant finding my future honey.
The problem with forever singles is that it’s all fun up until your mid to late thirties, but there’s going to come a time when you’re going to walk into a bar or club and people are going to look at you like “why is that person here, that person is too old” and you will notice it too. That’s when reality sets in. The party is over.

Thank you for making this video. In my 30’s and seeing others getting married and starting families make me feel like I am not walking in the right path sometimes, but I am happy with being single because I don’t see myself with a kid or with someone just for the sake of meeting a milestone. In fact, I know ppl who got married and had kids only to learn that they are not exactly happy about it. Or end up in divorce. There are so many things I get to do being single now that I am financially stable.

Agreed about the social life! I feel like even when you're in a romantic relationship, you still need other relationships. Your life partner isn't going to be everything for you so regardless this is needed. I started dating again recently but I don't feel lonely or that I'm missing our because I connected to different people in my immediate community. I know married and divorced people, some will say don't do it! Some don't have great relationships with their kids or they have bad marriages. I personally want a family and know I can do better than those I know, but I'm not always sure I want to change my life now that I'm in a place of complete contentment. I know life changes anyway, but I'm not motivated at all to continue dating.
I'll be 37 tomorrow and I've never had a girlfriend or been married. I was in the Navy traveling on ships around the world so there was never time to find a wife. Now I'm all alone. I don't really see a bright future.

In this era, it is difficult for you to find an ideal partner, because most people care about material things, formalities, and appearances. I searched for a long time for true love, for the pure essence, for tenderness, and I did not find it. And her child became my moon and he became her sun, but I did not find it, and yet I still believe that love exists and that it is a very great thing.
My wife is the exact opposite of the person I was looking for. I love her with all my heart. She's the furthest thing from the woman I was looking for. Don't let your standards and wants in a person, ruin what could be a wonderful relationship. Honesty and Kindness are the only 2 must haves you shouldn't compromise. I see people everyday dating and marrying people that aren't kind or honest but them check all the other boxes. Those people are miserable. Date someone that isn't your type. See what happens.
Its hard to women who think marriage is a fairytale nd kids r possessions. Paul in the Bible encouraged singleness. So if ur a Christian jst embrace it for God. 1cor.7 It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I am. But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

@@OlgaSmirnova1 seems like you’re the one that’s miserable and clearly don’t have your own identity. Seeing that you had a negative comment to multiple people on this video …
This video looks more like one about coping rather than happiness. Some how, over time, it seems that our society has lost the ability or skill to live with someone in a committed relationship. There is no glamour attached to family. Yet, it is potentially a very powerful social unit that ordinary people can hope to attain. The breakdown of families will lead us to a degradation of society IMO. And will make us more vulnerable to some variety of totalitarianism. The state is a poor substitute for family. The Nazis and Communists tried to do that. And to a certain extent corporations look for that kind of commitment from it's employees, though they make no commitment to reciprocate. Our present culture either ignores or denigrates the concept of family. That may have contributed to the break down of marriages and people remaining single. If people can't see the potential benefit of building a family, then they are not going to put in the effort it takes to live with someone and create one. Ultimately, it takes two people willing to commit to each other. That's hard to come by today.
I just turned 30 and I would like to have more friends who are single and I'm more focused on having a career, and building a life I love ... I really enjoy my independence more than anything.
Thank you for that advice, those insights, and sharing your own experience. These things are not always easy to talk about. As a guy who has been single for a while, amd now opting to be single and emphasize the main areas of my life with self-growth/healing/being fully involved in the things that matter to me, I can also say it pays off so much. Over occupying yourself only does so much. Reason is becasue soon it becomes routine to the point where you run out of things to do and you constantly find yourself looking for "distractions" to keep your mind occupied.
Those with partners are the ones who are busy looking for distractions from their relationships that were supposed to "complete" them but instead left a painful void. 😅
🥰 ..Sometimes being 'Single' is an absolute CHOICE..! There is no lonliness if you're whole within. SO many of my friends and family members married and divorced (even after children) because they were desperate to FILL that ROLE....that Societal 'expected' Norm that says,"..it has to happen NOW in your 30's. And it doesn't matter how many times men tell them this they keep denying it and then say men aren't ish and start to cry about it. But hey another life wasted.. nothing special. You go girls.
@colerainswaggify6387 how do you actually know this? All of my female friends and family members who are 40+ have men who are pursuing them. Even my aunt in her 60s stays having boyfriends and men who want to marry her. You'll get older too and you'll see how it is. Men need women, that never changes. I feel for you being single is a sad thing. I can sense your energy. It's not like that for everyone. Some people are genuinely happy that just like some that are miserable in a relationship. I don't think single people need videos on this as if it's a big deal and they need mental support to get through this. If you're not happy with yourself then no point being in a relationship.
I actually agree, I think this woman definitely wants a partner and should work towards that end. Not that she hasn't been trying in the past, but she may need to move to another city or some thing. Too many women spend years and years in places like LA or New York where marriage rates are low and men don't want to commit. She may need to move to the south or Midwest
I see red flags. She’s pretty and women can EASILY get dates etc especially through apps. I’m not not buying the loneliness but “I do things that make me happy” part. Ladies, she’s giving you advice and she’s 40s and childless. It’s something else.
Thank you. This is one intelligent message. Instead of saying you have to love yourself first, but searching for something active to do, that make you happy, it IS LIFE. IT IS FOUNDATION.

A long term relationship is a WANT, not a NEED. Things you NEED: food, water, clothing, shelter, an income. You might WANT a Ferrari or a $10 million dollar home but you can survive without them. WANTS vs. NEEDS. A LTR is not a NEED. It's a want. It's 100% rational to say "I don't need it" because it's true.

I dont mean to play devil's advocate here but i HATED being single. I was single from 20 to 33 years of age and then had two back to back relationships then single from 35-40. I love my now husband, but i wish i met and married him a lot sooner. I pour everything into my marriage because im so grateful to be in it. You can find love after 35, its just a bit harder. I married someone 17 years older and he is close to retiring, but i am so grateful to be married and tell him every day how grateful i am.
34 and dated for one period between 28-30 which was enough to know I am happier single, made some good friends out of it though. It definitely doesn't suck.
I personally hate the comments that say "if its Gods will". Its always Gods will for women to bring life into the world, hence why we have wombs and periods. It's just that we stay in wrong relationships, waste time, life can be unfair etc. Im 34 and im not gonna lie, i regret staying in wrong relationships and all the other traumatic things i went through. I grieve every day over having no children and feeling helpless to make it happen. Its not that easy to meet someone and its tiring. I dont enjoy being single and havig no family of ny own. If i dont have my own family by 40, i think I'll find the nearest cliff edge. My life will have been pointless.
The bitterness in the comments. Some people like to be single some people like to be in relationships. Some people got good partners some people were unlucky. It’s all so subjective. I’ve been in a very long term relationship with the father of my child whom I’m still great friends with, then a single for quite a while and been with another partner for over a year now. I’m turning 38 soon. It really depends on choice but also on luck and preferences. I can see why both sides have advantages. I never felt lonely when I was single for example. Life can be beautiful whatever way you chose to live it ❤
What about the girls who are abstinence and single and are waiting to find a good mature man for marriage. Not all girls are like that. Some girls wait, some girls think about their education/career before dating.
@@aariana1205 how many women today between the ages of 18 - 28 who don't have a high "body count" or have only slept with only 1 or 2 guys? Like anything in life, when you aquire something that's been used alot or abused, it will most assuredly come with problems as apposed to something with little to no use or even new. Everything has value or little value in life, which includes men and women as well. If women don't value thier bodies by sharing it around with many, many men then good men won't look at them as anything of value worth keeping either. There are alot of women out there that come with problems they can't get over and "baggage" they've acquired from the many, many, many, men they've been passed around to that good men don't want for obvious reasons. Currently over 70% of divorces are initiated by women where men loose more in the split than women do. It's why "good" men are harder to find because they are more cautious than the men who are looking for a here and now good time girl. Good men want a family they created with a woman, not take care of a woman with another man's kids that comes with problems and the other "baby's daddy" in thier lives! It's the woman who chooses the men, the only choice a man gets to make is if she's worth it or not in the long run or for a short time after she choises him! Given the choice, men will always pick a new car over a used and abused car that comes with alot of issues and problems. Good men want housewives dedicated to the family they created, not so good men only want to party and get pussy. If pussy is the only thing a woman is offering, then they will only get the type of men who only want pussy. Good luck out there!

how can you say such a thing don't you find yourself mentally ill without a boy??!

I'm sorry you're so sad.
Vain advice. Living for yourself is empty and same too goes for living for others.
Women these days are absolutely disgusting and selfish. Marriage isn’t about happiness. Constantly banging on about happiness. Shut the fuck up

Cope 😊

Great advice. You can single for a while now and I'm 34. It's going on 3 years. And it's very tough but it's also good to know that I'm not alone and that there are others that also feel the same burden

Was married at 30 .. abusive marriage led to separation at 32, divorced at 35, no kids..37 female now and finding tough to get a spouse.. loneliness is hard
I gave up on finding love. Instead I chose to live my life. Do what makes me happy and really make the most of it. For me personally it was the best decision of my life no having to worry lifted heavy weight off my shoulder. To to a similar extent I can agree with this video. Find what makes you happy. It works!
such a great advice thanks ❤
I am 50 now and single. I’m not single by choice, my wife died in 2018 of a bad heart condition. The way I hear women speak now, I don’t want a woman that is going to talk to me like that. I’d rather be alone.
That’s you’re choice, but I doubt woman are the sole issue. You’re mindset and failure to actively look for one you’re compatible with are. You should see how men to women if you think women are bad these days.
@@tiahnarodriguez3809 Nope sorry, as a woman who has been happily married for 12 years and a proud non-feminist, the way women speak about men and to men nowadays is truly appalling. Show me a single woman in her 30's and 40's and can tell you why she's still single. And it's truly sad. Generations of women have been sold a lie, and are now dealing with the consequences of believing that lie.
I don't blame this man for one second for bowing out. He obviously had a wonderful and respectful wife and doesn't want to deal with the modern feminist "independent boss babes" that are currently the norm on the dating market.
At the current rate, by 2030 over 50% of women will be single. This is unprecedented. Men don't want toxic, entitled, ungrateful, jaded feminists, and I don't blame them.
@@bunny_0288 ask all these “strong queens” why are they lonely and miserable and making videos to cope with their reality?
@@bunny_0288 Preach girl! Divorced after 10 years, she thought grass is greener on the other side and now she falls asleep with bottle and crying a river. On the other hand I went to see dating market and Im in europe but what I see is huge amount single or worse single mothers in late twenties and thirties, completely delusional and narcissistic. an average/below average manly woman in her thirties and still believe she has time and deserve better. Im late X generation and woman of mine generation in that age would be happy that someone is still interested in them. But most Im bothered on men that are not men anymore, so much simps with only sexual agenda on their mind, a disgrace.
Don't listen to those old broads. They are just defeated that another man has wised up and won't give them a crack at the nest egg they worked decades for. You are on the right path sir. You are free to enjoy your golden years.
"stay busy so you don't think about your regrets as much" nice nice lol
I learned to observe, pay close attention, let the guy talk more so i can see if God wants us to enter into a healthy relationship that will lead to marriage. God hears our prayers
Love it! Im 34 in a toxic relationship that I just cant seem to let go and we both are happy in different homes. I looooove spending time with him ALONE! I love the movies, dinner, going out. I just dont understand why he becomes such a wierd bug when hes around other people. He wants to sleep @ a party (he has chronic fatigue) and will drop anywhere to sleep. Im a bit of a hermit but with the right people, im happy
Oh, and I am engaged lmao. The way he gave me the ring 😂😂😂nah Ill keep this to my self or make a video? How embarrassing!!! Before yall judge me. Ahhh i take the 5th!
Im also a step parent
I’m so scared of being one of those “my first husband” women. I don’t want it. I want a FAMILY
It’s so strange that you never once suggested People to seek relationship, actively position themselves to be relationship material. Your advice is “here’s what to do to ensure you will be single in your 40s.”
You seem like such a lovely lady. If the circumstances and distance were more suitable, I would have loved to take you out for a cup of coffee! :)

I'm 54 and am seeking a good woman. One who isn't a narcissist and who wants to be respected, loved and one who wants to serve God. Something we all need. I'm no one perfect. Just want a good woman. @@Ronydoo-yv2hsyou're married and hating it aren't you.
Get married and have kids in your 20’s or don’t do it at all imo. I know too many people with a kid in their late 30’s and they’re all pretty unhappy. It’s kinda the worst of both worlds, you don’t have your single freedom and you don’t have the rewards of a big family and a community etc
Single at 40 and I sleep like baby every single night lol … I’ll only be in a relationship if there is zero drama … the moment sniff drama I’m out !

If your only goal in life is to seek comfort for yourself every day. That's an empty life...😊😊😊😊❤
I dont mean to play devil's advocate here but i HATED being single.

It’s awesome for men 👍🏾👏🏾
34 and dated for one period between 28-30 which was enough to know I am happier single, made some good friends out of it though.
It definitely doesn't suck.
@@devinc9 My man 🙏🏾
This is helpful. I know it's not good, but trying to figure out how to get past it and knowing you can't find better if you stay.
Girl are you okay?
Excellent advise! 😊
She should be giving advice to late teen early 20s girls to avoid this life and seek a family. I guess that advice comes when she is 50.
Who is she?
Kids suck
The bitterness in the comments. Some people like to be single some people like to be in relationships. Some people got good partners some people were unlucky. It’s all so subjective. I’ve been in a very long term relationship with the father of my child whom I’m still great friends with, then a single for quite a while and been with another partner for over a year now. I’m turning 38 soon. It really depends on choice but also on luck and preferences. I can see why both sides have advantages. I never felt lonely when I was single for example. Life can be beautiful whatever way you chose to live it ❤
Very well said and thank you for sharing your thoughts. I completely agree with you ❤️
This is what happens to all the practice girls with high body counts later in life ladies! Its called "Hitting the Wall"!
This reasured me, thanks.
