- This is my conditioning hair regimen every 2 weeks
1) Precondition - Cold Pressed Castor Oil (make 4 sections)
2) Condition - Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner (leave for 15minutes)
3) Wash
4) Dry with Cotton top
5) Leave in Conditioner - (should be) Giovanni Leave In Conditioner
6) Apply Heat Protectant - Olive Oil Thermal Shine Heat Protectant
7) Blow dry (OPTIONAL) - using tension method
8) Moisterise with Raw Shea Butter - amzn.to/1GcX896
9) Style as desired (do Bantu Knots)

It's so interesting to see 4c and kinky hair how it can be different on one another. My 4c hair is very thick and can get really tight during washing and your hair just seemed to agree with everything you did lol very nice video !

omg I have shoulder length 4c hair and I've been wanting to cut it off soooo bad because its so hard to keep it moisturized and the shrinkage is sooo real but seeing your hair in this video makes me want to keep it!

I've noticed while watching your tutorials that the contrast in sounds between your soft voice and loud music is not easy on the ears. I find myself turning the loud music down then having to turn the volume back up to hear you properly. It's like surfing big waves up and down if you get my drift; however, I do respect if you disagree. May God continue to bless you with fresh ideas so that you can graciously bless us with more content.

Thanks Daphne. I had swore off Bantu knots because I have low density hair and the outcome was terrible. I will try again on blow dried hair to see if I like it. I mostly wear wash n go because they give the most fullness and coverage. Be blessed.

Hi Mrs. Madyara. First of all I just wanted to let you know that you have truly been a blessing to me in my hair journey. I am now own my second week with the African braiding tips. I have been praying at times and eating right... I believe I see some increase in the length of my hair. This life can be such a struggle, but I still walk by faith despite my hiccups. So thank you for your inspiration and encouraging words of wisdom. I do have a question for you, it's about shedding. I have noticed that while washing my hair, my hands are always filled with hair, which makes me a little nervous. Do you have any advice for minimizing shedding?
Aww bless u thank u so much I'm glad the videos have inspired you. With shedding is it because you are combing your hair whilst wet? Also finger combing outside the shower after applying your leave in conditioner and seals. It will be in a less fragile state than with water flowing through it ..I hope this can help ;-) x
Dephne Madyara I have stopped using a comb on my hair. I just finger comb it while washing and conditioning. I still have yet to buy some of your product suggestions, like the iron, mineral rich and omega 3. I believe that they will help me internally and help strengthen my hair. I have the same type of hair and it is long like middle back long and can be hard to deal with specially when washing it I do not like washing it I will admit that and I do not like washing it in the shower but your wash method was awesome I will definitely have to try that between tomorrow and Saturday morning but will try thank you so much

Dephne if you braid your hair wet then let it dry over night you will get much more stretch & elongation in your final hairstyle, please give it a try.

So pretty. I wasn't too sure about co-washing but I might try it out. My hair never seems to become so bouncy and full of life when I put it in bantu knots, not sure what I may be doing wrong. Anyway thanks for the video and God bless :)

Thank you sooo much for this video, you're hair is beautiful! Lol, I've been waiting for so long to see a wash regimen on long 4c hair. Another person on RUclips with such long 4c hair is ***** She has a few style videos. Do you blow dry every time you wash and if not what do you do on those in between wash days? Do you ever use shampoo or do you only co wash? How do you keep you hair moisturized through out the week after your wash day routine? I'm sorry for all of the questions but thank you so much in advance.
Thank u so much! I love her hair it's beautiful (DVF). I don't blow dry every time but braid it after washing and mostly. In between its braids, twist outs and buns. Yes I use shampoos but have been co washing only for the past 2 months. I moisturise every day at the moment :-) hope this helps and thank u for watching x

I'm currently transitioning, my natural hair is 4c as well, but is very though and tangles a lot, do you think that the shea moisture conditioner and giovanni's would still work on my hair? I always though that they worked better on looser hair textures, I don't know if it would just be a waste of money.

hey hun, i was wondering about the smell of raw shea butter. it does wonders for my hair but i cant get past the smell. do the shea moisture products mask the smell? every time i add any product to mask the smell, i dont get the softness from the shea butter. or u just dont mind the earthy scent?
Some blow dryers have the cold hair option, will that work just as good as heat and be less damaging?
