- With hair sectioned in 4 sections I Clarify with a shampoo, deep treatment mask and detangle with the masque still in my hair then wash it out. To moisturise I do the LOG method - I use cantu leave in, organ oil and blue magic grease. At the moment I'm wearing a wig so I do a twist out under my wig. I do this once a week. Honey I am now sold on grease ! You are totally using it the correct way , your technique is perfect because number one you are not using it as a "mosturizer"like so many of us did growing up lol. Number 2, you clarify your hair when you wash so it gets rid of any product buildup and 3, you are using it as a sealant after putting very moisturizing products in your hair before you apply blue magic . I can't wait to try the LOG method

I have to be honest, I was a little surprised to see Blue Magic. But I thought about it and it is smart. our mothers, aunts and grand mothers used to put only that grease on our hair and this is why it was so dry (at least mine was). But with a leave-in and oil first it's perfect. You seal the moisture and nourishment instead of sealing "nothing" to the hair. Must be a good protection for hair during winter or cold temperature. I will try this !
mimi g i think usig it on the scalp will make your scalp and eventually your hair dry....but on your ends..it should be fine.

About the "grease". I have extremely dry facial skin. I tried every "natural" cold cream out there and still my face cracked, still I needed to re-apply during the day. I went back out of sheer desperation to Nivea cold cream (the blue tin) which contains mineral oil as its main ingredient. I used this in childhood, while growing up and never had issues with my skin. I went back to it, I said natural be damned and I could not have made a better decision. It just locks in the moisture into my skin like *no other* cold cream does. I am now also using baby oil (J&J) on my hair. I use an oil rinse after washing (only on the lengths as due to a scalp condition I can't let oils (or conditioner) near my scalp), apply a small pump of baby oil, then rinse, and apply my masque or conditioner. It is *awesome*!
Marleen G. Hi for your skin issues if they still persist you can try Shea Moisture for baby lotion with frankincense and myrrh it's very good for dry skin.
My goddaughter uses it and I have tried some you can never go wrong for the amount of moisture it gives you.
Thought it may help a bit, I know you already have a solution but try it maybe for future sakes!

Shea Moisture does not work for me ... AT ALL!!! Grease is my JAM... I love love love it. Idc what anyone says, my hair stays put and stays moisturizer w that over anything else.

I grew up on blue magic! People say don't use grease use oil. Well it worked on my hair as a child. And I still use it every now and then. I like your LOG method. Never thought of using it that way. I will try it.

I just put some blue magic in my hair last night after using my tgin leave in, then I put on curl formers. it's my new regiment and I'm trying to stick to it. I still want to give butters another try but not now. you should try the tgin mask one day. it's amazing. ❤
I use Creme of Nature moisturizer, shampoo, and conditioner Eco styling gel (argon and olive oil), and I also use Blue Magic Originals Sure Super Grow hair grease that's made with Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, and Japanese Green Tea Leaves. I moisturize my hair with water, conditioner, and moisturizer lotion (mix it all in a spray bottle), and it really works! My hair has become much stronger and enhanced manageability and hair growth!

Great video...I love that your hair remain elongated. My hair shrinks to nothing when it gets wet.
haahaa! trust me mine eventually shrinks drastically after it dries. Have you tried washing it using the tension method? I do this all the time and its gotten used to this as it got longer, it helps a lot with tangling xxx

hey dear hmm yes it could be the water and change of weather, where did you move from? xxx your hair will get used to it over time but you may need to change your products to accommodate the changes in your hair, perhaps more protein or more moisture (deep condition masks)?

The one I use is an off-white cream color
necilya ok thought I was crazy. I haven't used it in a couple of years.
Some Shea butters are two different colors becuase of the two different shea seeds used to make the cream you can look it up
Kecia Henderson shea is white-cream/beige the yellow shea butter IS NOT the natural color... they add a plant root to give it yellow color

you have beautiful hair but I have a question because your hair is similar to mine. I try to stretch my hair buy putting my hair in 8 hair ties and braiding the rest of my hair. I've realized the back of my hair (roots) stretches a lot but some parts of my hair is so tangled and I can't even part it, let alone conrow it. do you have any tips?
Why did we stop using Blue Magic? It doesn't matter. Thinking of going back to it. I also used it when I was younger and it did my hair just fine. Unless they've changed ingredients, I don't see where it will go wrong. Thanks Dephne for being brave 👍👍😀

hi i been wondering if I don't see curls in my hair until i blow dry my hair. I am so confused to why my hair just clumps together and it looks like i have no hair but when i blow dry it i have curls and it goes back to its length which is to my back. Any help 2 y this happens . please and thank u
