One of the greatest moments in the history of sports! Even as a Yankees fan, I LOVED listening to Remy and Orsillo. R.I.P Rem Dawg. You are missed my man.
I’ve never laughed so hard in my life as watching this in our college apartment living room with my buddies. We had just gotten DVR and proceeded to spend 2 years on the box and was replayed at least 600 times
Yeah, this had me crying. There's so many reasons this is funny. The guy is already soaked in beer and gets a pizza added to the mess. That alone is hilarious. But the announcers doing the reply on the pizza throw and giggling.
This is incredible, but I wish MLB Network had taken it a step further and done a full panel with Orsilo, Remy (before he passed away), the guy who threw the pizza and the guy who was hit by a pizza.
I remember my dad telling me in 04 after the Red Sox Yankees brawl Sox were gonna win the World Series and in 07 when this happened I said we winning the World Series after this throw
R.I.P. Jerry Remy. Not a Red Sox fan but I enjoyed listening to him and Don Orsillo on many Sox games. My wife recently died of cancer and I was pulling for him to defeat this awful disease, cancer needs to be stopped.
Cancer will be around till the end of time,it's been around when the Pyramids were being built and it's going to be around for millions of more years. Unfortunately.
The one guy gets pizza tossthe other got a beer shower lol. Not to mention pizza toss got a baseball to the noggin too lol. RIP Jerry you’ll always be remembered. His and don’s commentary has been a staple in Red Sox history!
If you listen to the broadcast, there’s an awesome point where Remdawg had to to all the talking because Don Orsillo was immobilized and speechless with laughter. Unforgettable!
It was patriots day and that game usually starts at 11 am...don't think it ended up starting till like 1:30 due to rain...but we won 7-2 chiill out guys 😂
I grew up in the Boston area in the 80s/90s, and it was pretty much all about Boggs, Clemens, and Greenwell. Greenie was pretty popular for a few years.
Rest In Peace Jerry, you will be missed.
Saw this in real time, i was in tears for about 15 minutes, best color commentators ever
I did too.
I remember being so confused until…THERE GOES A PIZZA!
Lolololloool
same, it's just barely outshined by the 04 championship, 2nd best sox moment in my lifetime
Best moment in Sox broadcast history. RIP Remy, we miss you 💔

10/10 on the throw. One of my favorite baseball moments of all time lol
Lol this guy says "free delivery" 😂 RIP Jerry ❤

I love that they completely stopped talking about the game for about 5 minutes. It was all about the Pizza. Who cares about J.C. Romero!
Check out the phones they had in 2007, obsolete flip phone junk.

@@williegordon6816Yeah, but in 2007 they were Gold.
We'll never forget you Jerry, thank you everything. RIP 💔

This guy should be a regular. Great interview.
A Sox fan upset at a fellow Sox fan for helping the Sox not make an out. Makes perfect sense.
Remy and Orsillo were the best together. Shame they let Orsillo go.
He’s better off in SD with that team
@@mrsmith8423 I mean sure if he likes the sound of crickets.
Not a shame Brrny, a travesty. I've said it a hundred times, He should have been our Vince Scully.
What's even more of a shame is that they apparently told Don his video for honoring Jerry wasn't needed.
Jim Cornette podcast keeps on giving!
This is so much funnier when played in real-time rather than slo-mo. 🤣
I remember my dad telling me in 04 after the Red Sox Yankees brawl Sox were gonna win the World Series and in 07 when this happened I said we winning the World Series after this throw

No one asked about your wife, you were probably checking out other women at the hospital and funeral
Has Jomboy broken this down? I want to hear his take.
So dang funny even all these years later!
MIGTOW
Jerry Remy and Dan Orsillo were absolute magic together. It’s criminal that NESN split them up. Miss you, Jerry. Don too for that matter.
To hell with the Red Sox comeback of 2004, this was EPIC!!!
Orsillo and remy were the best duo. Change my mind
@Job bet
This is the truest statement in the history of truism.
They were great.
The guy getting the pizza yells, "You wanna pizza me?"
Heart this MLB!!! We missed you this winter
@Job I meant games 🤦♂️🤦♂️
To be honest that is not the worst thing to be thrown at someone in Fenway Park!
In Yankee Stadium they throw batteries at each other, so if the worst thing you can get thrown at you is a pizza 🍕 then you're lucky.
Today, Boston had Jerry Remy day ..I'm a Sox fan and love this ..From Portsmouth RI...in Gatlinburg TN now ..
The wild card game between New York and Boston tonight brought me here
RIP Remdawg

“Free delivery” ☠️
I miss Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy.. they were the best!! RIP Jerry Remy!

Dan Kelly is Mr. Boston the accent, the name, he's the embodiment of Boston, when you think of people from Boston he's the guy.
“Here comes the pizza!” 🍕
Best delivery ever 😂
"HERE COMES A PIZZA!" fucking hilarious announcing
It is the most important play in all Boston sports history. I don't know why it just is
Not exactly a play
We will miss you Jerry
This should be a new baseball tradition.
If Jerry Remy was here right now 🤣 he would've been dying laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I always thought that he was aiming for the angels player
Me and my brother were stoned as shit watching this. We laughed for like 20 minutes
Jason Sole is the one hit with the pizza
The one and only
Love ya, Jay!
RIP Jerry ❤️.
Where's the guy that got hit!!!I don't see shit about him!!This guy got his 15 minutes.
It was patriots day and that game usually starts at 11 am...don't think it ended up starting till like 1:30 due to rain...but we won 7-2 chiill out guys 😂
Matt Vasgersian brought me here
Me too! I never head about this until now
Same here :)
I think kicking him out was overkill.
Here cause of Jim Cornette
Me too.
Here cause of a meme. Where and when does Corny reference this? I have to hear his version of this. 🤣
Of all people, wouldn’t have expected Jim Cornette to have talked about this
Lol he just roasted the Reds at the end
A slice Papa Gino’s to the face lol
So when do we celebrate Randal Simon smacking the mascot with the baseball bat? lol
He's been asked to leave the ballpark, for ruining a good piece of pizza.🍕 😆🤣HERE COMES A PIZZA.
I remember that game lol
They both seem highly offended 🤣
This so, so Boston
Boston fans be like
Quiet down Quinn
Absolutely no better content?
Still hilarious in 2024
waste of pizza
Maybe if it was NY
Not surprised it was red sox fans.
Looks like Dan Kelly eats alot of pizza.
Mike Greenwell ? Cmon, he must have been joking. Greenie was a mediocre player that never has a memorable play or won a thing.
I grew up in the Boston area in the 80s/90s, and it was pretty much all about Boggs, Clemens, and Greenwell. Greenie was pretty popular for a few years.
False comment
One of the best first-pitch hitters in history.
Greenwell was runner up for MVP in 88
Mike Greenwell struck out every time he came to the plate in the 1986 World Series.
Go Yankees
