@@Fict1onMaster I paused it for a moment to catch up on some work. When I came back I was greeted with “fa goo ba do meee ohh saa faanaa da” I could not help but think. The AI translator broke again
@@Fict1onMasterI have to admit I almost lost it in the work breakroom when the AI voice tried to replicate what I assume is a heavy Irish accent @17:20 😂
Can we have more of this please? There now are over 120 episodes of this series online and it is great fun to read. Would love to listen to it while working out too :)
Neo Norse?! Mead hall?! What's next? Beowulf and legendary swords? 43:15 ah, speak of the devil. 44:44 and unabashed boasting to boot! Someone sure had fun writing this lol.
In regards to the accents and dialects: I appreciate the attention to detail, but it’s hard to even know what’s going on sometimes. For example, at 20:00 I don’t have a clue what’s being said on the broadcast, and don’t even know if I’m *supposed* to understand. “Is this slow English, or just the noises that’re coming out of the TV like we saw during the Island rescue?” Given that the subtitles often don’t match exactly what’s being said, I’d be fine without the accents. Even the pronunciation & intonations with the normal narrator can get pretty wacky lol. I really couldn’t understand Victor’s parents either. Ofc I can gather from context and a word here or there, but it just ain’t copasetic. Also, the brits (right? ‘Cause they’re in London? Or did I miss something) are saying ‘nae’ in place of “no” like a Scot would. TL;DR: In my opinion the normal narrator is sufficient. What could definitely help (for me) is a bit more clarity on whose perspective we’re seeing, as I’m often having to rely on context clues to tell me who’s speaking at the start of a passage. Maybe it’s just me, but I never know we’re following the captain until she starts saying captain-y things or mentions a perch lol. Love the story (good job getting permission to post it btw, that sure is refreshing to see), keep the videos coming!
If you're talking about the head Security Officer, I'm pretty sure his name is Victor Taylor, AKA "cuddles". Sometimes people call'm Mr. Taylor or Taylor. I could be wrong, there's a lot of names to keep track of at this point. Hope that helps
Super love this story and can't wait for next part
I'm glad you like it
Will we be getting more? I’m wanting to keep listening to this great story

Yeah. Just wish that the author left an actual english translation with the text. The old saxon language was over the top

Looks like another lost story. Parts 1 through 8 posted rapidly over a few days time, now nothing for almost a week 😢
