Especially not fourteen characters whose names are mispronounced AND misspelled every time, whose faces are mixed up in the video, whose mention is sporadic and stretched days or weeks apart, and whose voices are identical. It’s hard to keep track of anyone. The characters themselves are fine. But it’s too hard to keep track of anyone in this adaptation. It’s distracting from the (genuinely good) story to a ridiculous degree, worse than literally not naming the characters. At some point, why bother having characters? Look, I’m a fan of large ensemble casts. They bring the story alive (see: GRRM, Tolkien, etc.). But this is not how to do it. Or rather, this is not how to adapt r/HFY short stories into RUclips videos. I don’t blame the author at all. It is rather the video creator who owns responsibility for making the adaptation. -- Edit: I wrote the above at the hour mark, before reaching the introductions at the end is the video.
OMG these are the best stories I haverd in deceades. are they writen anywhere I have a few friends I would love to recomend them to but they are readers not lisners?
To hear a true story asixteen. Maybe it's 2019. There's a video out of the oldest man that ever lived. It was 497 years old still alive and had interview with them. And all the graduation that you got from all the other emperors that ever survived to give them. Every time you went to a 100 years more from age. A 100 to age 400 I reward for living that long and still been alive. And it's just shy of being 500 years old. I don't know if he's alive. Today is dead, but if he is he's a little more than 500 years old and he said his master lived 696 years of age. And that is actually a true story
Really like these stories 😊

You don’t start a story by introducing fourteen characters in rapid fire succession.
