First of all, wtf in the 11 years of my life of being a vocaloid fan, I have never heard anyone call themselves a mikuhead Second, I love how many times Kagerou daze is played in this video
Bruh I've been in the Vocaloid fandom for 6 years and I have never heard a soul call themselves a "Mikuhead" where did you get that information aha But hey I'm not here to nit pick all the iffy facts in this video, I'm just happy that Vocaloid is getting more attention because that means more merchandise! So thank you!
Joanna Chavez Ahh um nope, gosh I don't know how to explain this but i hope this makes sense: so despite the barrier of the ocean, Japanese and Western Vocaloid fans are actually one in the same. As in, everything they know and do, we also know and do, because everything in Vocaloid is accessible on the internet, including streaming tickets to concerts that are happening a million miles away (thanks, niconico!) so yeah just believe me when I say that there is actually no section of the fandom that collectively and on a large scale refer to themselves as Mikuheads. But that doesn't mean we can't start today. :) I'm just totally curious as to where they found that word lol
Wynnie M I’ve been up all night trying to figure out where the hell miku got her fame from and why? Well I have one reason, Japan and anime, but I need to know one that really just hits the nail on the head so I can go to sleep. I’ve had enough Japanese culture for a good six months and you’re the guy I need help from so please my friend throw this frightened cat a bone!
I am actually pretty sure Miku and other vocaloids have performed as holograms way before Tupac hologram was a thing. Though that may be my memories messing with me. It's at least been 4 years though, I'm sure. It's nice to see Miku is finally gaining traction in the US mainstream :D
Oh and fun kind of irrelevant fact: Puppycat from Bee and Puppycat is voiced by Oliver, a voice synthesizer from the same brand. His English voice bank is provided by a British boy choir (or at least that's what my sister told me.), but he also has a Japanese voice bank.
@@p0k3mn1 Well idk if you know but she's a virtual singer, she's not a anime and not of a game, you can just say she's a singer but then virtual Sorry if I'm wrong I'm new to her too 😂
I'm not being a hipster, it's just that she's been widely known for years and has been extremely popular in the US for the last year or so. My liking anime has nothing to do with it. I just made this account a few years ago.
I adore Miku! ^^ there are so many artists who did the holographic thing! you should make a list about it! by the way Tokio Hotel even did a whole tour! I was there and it was epic!!
Um... Why does everyone ignore the other Vocaloids? Really, Vocaloid is not only Miku. What about Len, Rin, Kaito, Meiko and Luka? They should have at least mentioned. It's not fair. KAGAMINE FTW!
I agree to this. Miku might be the most well known but the other Vocaloids deserve just as much publicity. Hell, I've recently started to become a Kaito fan after hearing some of his songs.
Hatsune Miku is more popular that's why, like come on, so what if they only talk about MIKU? Like it doesn't matter, they decided to do it, and plus Rin and Len sound like shit
Are you kidding me?! Maybe it's YOUR opinion but Rin and Len changed my life and Len has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard! And as I said, all vocaloids should be treated equally, not only Miku.
Pan Con Quesitoh Gakupo is /technically his name AND majority of what others call him; Get your facts right before insulting someone, maybe? You're one to talk. Also, grow up.
I'd like to think that Hatsune Miku herself is the very essence of collaboration... Producers made their music with Her as their songstress.. Artists drew Her to match the song she's singing.. Animators animate her for the MV's.. NicoNicoDouga provides the platform.. Miku is what she is... a voice synthesizer, a virtual singer, a virtual diva, a collaboration... Hatsune Miku can be anything you want her to be... a shy girl, a tsundere, even a bitch for example, each producers have their own version of Hatsune Miku... Deco27's Miku is cute girl.. Nayuta's Miku is an alien girl.. and the list goes on.. when a new producer enters the scene, a new Hatsune Miku is born.. Is Hatsune Miku real? well in my eyes she's as real as it gets, producers behind her, loving fans around the world.. all of that made her real... it is up to you whether you want her to manifest or not, for some people she's real.. for others she's not well :v that's my opinion, what's yours?
She's presented as a pop star but she's really just a programmed voice. There is no anime with hatsune miku but there is some manga! If you want a manga recommendation with the crypton vocaloid's I think the bad end night manga's are great!
I thought her voice and her character was just a 2003 sound box but, wow this explains a lot. I kinda knew that she wasn't real but honestly, I have Zero self confidence right now just by watching this.
Should have mentioned a couple of her most popular songs (Melt, The World is Mine, Romeo and Cinderella) and the other Vocaloids (Luka, Kaito, Rin, Len, Meiko).
