Honestly, this mashup mesh so well together. Since both songs have drastically different tones and styles, they both elevate each other so much, especially for Magical Cure. During the chorus, when Mesmerizer’s segment ended and Magical Cure jumped in with a “Hah!”, it just flowed JUSSSST right to emphasize the positive and bombastic energy of Magical Cure in contrast to the hypnotic and sort-of demure energy of Mesmerizer’s. SO GOOD
Alternatively, Miku (assuming M@GICAL☆CURE LOVE❤SHOT Miku and Mesmerizer Miku is the same person in this interpretation) keeps a perpetually optimistic facade in order to escape the hypnosis and save Teto (and herself) but still succumbed to it in the end
