It's been a week for me and I just started to be able to put food in my stomach. I'm trying probiotics to see if it will help. I think we just have to suffer until our systems can handle food. The thought of food doesnt sit well with me either but it's slowly getting better.
@@AA-hj8er I’m still not back to normal, my diarrhea is t as bad. Do I can eat food. I do still have stomach pain, bloating, and diarrhea. My brain fog, and need for sleep is still ongoing. It’s been over a month since I had Omicron.

Consider talking to your doctor about the following: The spike protein of the virus is using the TLR4 protein on our T Cells to Trigger an inflammatory immune response. This is to cause deregulated release of Cortisol that lowers TLR4 inflammation. Cortisol then suppresses lymphocyte gamma interferons and IL-8 cytokines and effectively suppresses the primary immune response allowing the virus to spread. Cortisol also primes the secondary immune response and you get increased cytokine inflammation. To promote CD4+ helper T Cells you get elevated Extracellular ATP (the energy molecule) that increases Il-18 cytokines that in turn promote CD4+ helper T-Cells and increase lymphocyte gamma interferons. IL-18 cytokines are also linked to deep vain thrombosis so ATP has to help break down these blood clots causing fatigue. Cortisol at elevated levels also disrupts gastric secretions, lowers circulating testosterone needed to regulate systematic inflammation, causes ROS, causes insulin resistance and can increase blood glucose leading to diabetes. Cortisol is also correlated with homocysteine. At elevated levels homocysteine is linked to COPD,, Alzheimer’s and hardening of blood vessels and blood clots. With the original SARS the virus was found to be infecting the ACE2 receptors if cells in the endothelial wall. In response homocysteine increased the adhesive molecules on the surface of immune immune cells binding them to the infection causing inflammation.Blockage along the lining of blood vessels can cause cortisol to inhibit IL-10 signalling which regulates inflammation. By disrupting gastric secretions this means the ph levels are not low enough to promote secretions off the digestive enzyme Pepsin. Pepsin not only helps absorption of vitamins and minerals but also helps fight bacteria and viruses and in vitro break down blood clots. Cortisol can also increase TNF-Alpha cytokines by causing muscle cells to stop using glucose and start degranulating proteins. Excessive cortisol production can lead to adrenal fatigue which can cause chronic inflammation, fatigue, digestive issues and autoimmune disease. Disruption to gastric secretions can lead to a condition called Hypochlorhydria or low stomach acid. This means that food cannot be sterilised or digested properly and lead to a build up of bad bacteria and toxins. This can lead to bloating, diarrhoea, vomiting and acid reclux symptoms often misdiagnosed as high stomach acid. The acid reflux can be caused by build up of bad bacteria and toxins pushing out into the base of the oesophagus carrying particles of stomach acid causing inflammation at the base of the oesophagus. Inflammation at the base of the oesophagus can cause the top of the oesophagus to contract causing the sensation of a lump in the throat. Try talking to your doctor about the following. 1. Taking a combination of 4,000 IU of Vitamin D3, C, B12, B5,B6 and magnesium and zinc. 2. Drink twice daily 250 ml of water with 1/4 teaspoon of salt. This will help to increase electrolytes to treat adrenal fatigue and the virus may be hijacking the protease the body uses to regulate salt and water absorption. 3. Taking a gradual increasing dosage of Betaine HCL (500mg) with Pepsin (24mg) Betaine HCL inhibits TLR4 receptors, lowers key cytokines IL-18, IL1-b and TNF-a. It reverses insulin resistance and lowers cellular atp. Betaine also lowers cortisol and homocysteine and increases testosterone needed to regulate systematic inflammation. Cortisol can also inhibit IL-10 signalling needed to regulate inflammation when there is blockage along the lining of Blood vessels. Betaine HCL with pepsin is ineffective at low dosage but must only be considered under medical supervision as it can affect cellular atp needed to provide energy to cells and the body and cannot be take with aspirin, ibuprofen, Tylenol, steroids or Pepcid Famotidine as it can Susie bleeding to the stomach. It also cannot be taken during pregnancy. The dosage is 1 pill with each meal 3 times per day gradually increasing to 2 pills depending on tolerance. If the higher dosage causes nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea then lower the dosage. Again only consider under medical supervision. I hope this information helps

Two months ago I began with severe diarrhea like a fire hose for several days. The diarrrhea became a little less but lasted for 27 days. It was so bad that I had to wear adult diapers. I had a negative covid nasal test. The strange thing is that I had no other symptoms, no pain whatsoever. I lost my appetite but kept hydrated. I lost 20 pounds and felt fine, although tired. I am back to normal now with no problems. I expect that I had covid and wish I had thought of a stool test.

I got COVID last December. First week was mild cold symptoms. Then on about day 9, I started with nausea and vomiting on the hour for 8 hours with diarrhea. Terrible abdominal pain as well. I developed severe GERD. This went on for 3 mos. I went to GI doc and he recommended I take Prilosec (generic) for one month. I did that and it knocked it out. I am doing well, except that my system is sensitive to spicy food, alcohol and a few other things. I avoid them and get along pretty well. Thank you for asking.
Same feeling. Got covid in July last year. Only had diarrhea in the beginning, a few weeks later it started bloating and abdominal pain. Did blood and sonography tests but found no problem. the doctor says it is IBS. I wish I had gone to the doctor sooner, not sure if IBS could have been avoided.

After work every day I eat a handful of potato chips, flat pretzels with melted cheese -mozzarella or yellow American Can’t understand why but it works Diner -depends but peppers/onions are usually a part of it,other foods that work -beets,broccoli,green beans ,rice I drink coffee in the morning, water ,regular seltzer ,the Atkins shakes, I can’t drink alcohol anymore -I was mostly a beer guy but it isn’t worth the pain it causes both digestive and the “brain fog” I guess that’s what it is -sometimes it last for a few days if I try a few beers-ugh Snacks-pistachio,cashews,pineapple,apples,apricots,,a few other things
I have had IBS for as long as i remember. For the first time in my life i had finally found out how to keep it to a minimum, as to what i eat in a day and how much activity would help. Then i got Covid, and as it wasn't that bad during my infection, the aftermatch now is insane. I am so hunry, but everytime i eat i get so sick and have to run to the bathroom + i'm so drained from energy too. I hope it will go away soon enough, but it is indeed a side effect i think there should be more focus on ):

I was quite suprised to learn that covid 19 causes Gastrointestinal symptoms as I originally thought it was a respiratory virus. I had tested positive for covid 19 back in July 2020 on my birthday of all the times. While I fortunately didn't have any Gastrointestinal symptoms my respiratory symptoms were quite bad. I still suffered from sore throat with Dry cough, Fever, Shortness of breath when doing any activity that made walking harder, and fatigue that made me not want to do anything all day, and couldn't smell or taste anything and all this went on for 2 weeks.
I got covid 2 weeks ago. It took five days of rest at home with NyQuil and rest to get over it. Symptoms started with achy body, fatigue then I broke into sweating one night. the next 2 days sore throat pain. day after fatigue and headaches return. more rest for 2 days and I feel fine after with negative antigen test. The whole family got it, young babies to old parents. Some went through symptoms for a month. I went through it with less than a week. My elderly parents who are very active got it less than few days with symptoms. we all just stayed home to rest for a week which helped with a speedy recovery.

I’ve been sick since 3 days after spending 2 hours in an emergency hospital department. Three days after spending time there I woke up in the morning so dizzy I couldnt barely walk to the bathroom. I felt weird like I was disassociated. Extreme anxiety I’ve never felt before came over me with depression the lowest I’ve ever felt. For the first time I actually understood why someone could commit sucicide. That was on the 23 of January that I was at the hospital. Now today I’m still have bouts of nausea that comes with anxiety. This nausea is different. You don’t vomit, just really sick feeing and bloated stomach..I’ve lost about 10 lbs. so far. I’m testing negative with 3 tests. Is it possible I don’t have enough viral load to make my test positive? I also have headaches, scratchy throat, pains in my shins constantly, back pain. Hot flushes, cold flushes, sweating with little exception. I’m on the mend after almost 6 weeks but then I have days when it hits me hard Layla over again. Today; I’m nauseous again and feel horrible. When is it going to go away completely.
I had terrible diarrhea, fever, heart pain, the most painful abdominal pain, I was in bed for nearly a month. I am not sure because this was in November 2019. It's said that the virus arrived in Europe only in March 2020. Several months later some blood work was done and I had an extreme Vitamin B12 deficiency although I eat meat regularly. The pain in my stomach came back several times but not so strong anymore.
I had Covid-19 for a few days. Absolutely NO respiratory symptoms, none. But I had to stay within 50 feet of my bathroom until the bug lifted. It was unreal. There was no pain to speak of. Fortunately, monoclonal antibodies had become available, followed by 4 doses of vaccine. (I'm 68 with heart and asthma issues.) I was one of the fortunate who didn't spend a day in bed. I self-quarantined for fourteen days back in January, 2021. No one with whom I'd spent the holidays came down with it. What a bizarre bug!
I lost my brains ability to think. There was a blockage in my brain to where I was unable to critically think. I had to do whatever I was told to do because my symptoms were the inability to repetition., I just kept thinking the same thoughts and songs over and over and over. Several hours before you have to drive somewhere, take the recommended dose of Imodium for the diarrhea. It's always helped me when I had that problem due to gall bladder removal. Also, take tart cherry extract capsules at night only because they make you sleepy. This should help calm the inflammation associated with COVID-19. For the past four years, I have been taking two tart cherry capsules every night before bed. I never contracted the virus even though my entire family had it and my nephew and brother got it twice! Also, take daily doses of Vitamin D3 and Zinc to protect yourself from contracting the virus a second time. Again, that's just what I've been doing and it seems to be working. Hope you feel better soon!

Great informative videos, thank you. I have suffered from Crohn's for 40+ years and have had both perianal abscess and fistula removal with bowel and terminal ilium resection and still have an irregular bowel. What should I expect if I catch the covid-19 virus, and are there things I can do to help. A video on Crohn's and all it's complications would be very helpful anyway to see if there are more things I can do to manage it going forward. I am not on any medications and have always tried to manage it through diet and lifestyle choices, avoiding stress as much as possible knowing this is one of my main triggers.

Speak with your G.I. doctor or your surgeon. I have had exactly the same issues in my life (fortunately now resolved) but at the time it seemed they would go on forever. I think I spent more time in hospital during the first year of my son's life than I did with him. Despite the constant failure of all treatments, the ailment simply resolved itself over time (and by time I mean a decade). Stress is also one of my triggers and I'm fortunate not to have to work anymore. When I got Covid-19 my doctor got me a treatment of monoclonal antibodies and steroids. I drank kefir and ate yogurt throughout the ordeal. When I recovered, I received the vaccine and three boosters (I'm 68 with lung and heart issues). When I had Covid, my bowel movements were really not much different than they are normally. I just went more often for a few days and had to stay in clear sight of my bathroom. Hope you get some strong relief.

I started testing negative a week ago after nearly two weeks of covid including severe diaherria and some nausea. No real respiratory issues. I have Microscopic Colitis before covid but was under control with Budesonide. Why am I having the bad diaherria and cramping again after a week of recovery? Is it that the virus is creating inflammation despite a week of being regular and well or is this just as colitis? It's very frightening.

Consider talking to your doctor about the following:
The spike protein of the virus is using the TLR4 protein on our T Cells to Trigger an inflammatory immune response.
3. Taking a gradual increasing dosage of Betaine HCL (500mg) with Pepsin (24mg)
Betaine HCL inhibits TLR4 receptors, lowers key cytokines IL-18, IL1-b and TNF-a.

Some countries have an anal swab as an optional test
Yes I was just tested and it was positive. Ot was nasel and I've only shown stomach symptoms
For me, it was almost 2 days of GI issues (diarrhea) before the at-home rapid test showed positive.
I got over covid respiratory symptoms 11 days ago. That's the day the stomach issues began. I'm now completely miserable. I'm taking dicyclomine to counter the cramps. I actually ate a cup of applesauce plus two pieces of buttered sourdough bread. I was SUPER nauseous until the dicyclomine and Marijuana gummy kicked in. BRAT diet for a while starts today. Anyone know how long this misery will last? I'm 50 but in great shape.
I got omicron im on day 10 I have a throat congestion mild fever and a headache and some breathing issues. Today I started getting diarrhoea and tummy cramps when will this end im so sick.
Hi! I’m on honeymoon with my wife who has exactly what you describe here - normal covid symptoms followed by very bad nausea and abdominal pain. we are currently stuck overseas and would like to go home so much! do you have any tips on ways to deal with symptoms… Any tips greatly appreciated 🙏
Congratulations
I recently lost my father this week I had hopes of any means of educating myself as to what is known with regard to patients who experience the type of symptoms described in this video ,. As to what information ive been given he was 6 to 7 days from the onset of the sars-covid2 he was a 71year old man with a history of IBD and had previously suffered from acute diverticulitus and removal of large portion of the colon due to perforation he was not showing any signs of lung infection only GI pain diarrhea body aches and loss of appeteit . and he was not given a bed in the california hospital he contacted .thus was left to die untreated due to not showing any respiratory symptoms . its been only a few days and absent the post mortem autopsy and pathology I have very basic infornation to go off . it could be weeks at the soonest to find out and dont want to prematurely suggest there was any malpractice or breakdown of the process by medical staff I understand that beds are in short supply and it seems unlikely thats a person would be turned away due to age or underlying condition its entirely feasable that there were fctors that i dont understand that led to his rapid decline from being in general good health for his age and being very active to dead in less than 80 hours if your have any thoughts that would shed a little light for me it would go a log way to process this event ! best regards Dr Ho
So sorry for your loss.
I’m so sorry to hear this I’ll pray for you

I had COVID a Month ago and my only symptom was diarrhea.
Sometime after, I had reflux and weeks later (where I thought everything was getting better) I started getting really bloated and apparently I am sensitive to everything I eat right now! Because I experience pain, weird stomach sounds, gas, extreme bloating and abnormal stool (like just not good).
I think my current symptoms mainly appeared right after I had my period. I don’t know what the hell is going on and what I am going to do. This is really affecting me mentally as well, because I struggle with anxiety and an eating disorder/body dysmorphia. I don’t know what to do and I feel bad :(
Help🙏
I am not taking any medication btw because I don’t know what would help….

Hello i was tested positive in 24 december and from 16 january i have stomach pain no apetite any tips how to get better?
Try yogurt, kombucha, ginger tea, TURMERIC SPICE, Curry dishes, Lentils, avoid bread, beer, and heavy meat meals. My symptoms with this get worse everytime I eat a piece of meat. Was doing good in the summer months because of fresh garden veggies. Be real mindful of what you buy at the stores right now too... be sure to read labels and avoid GMO crap.
Ok so i tested positive and this is the worst. The fever . Chills body aches gone. But my stomach still has loss of appetite. And i keep waking up every two hours at night for severe burping. Tums and pepto dont work and im tired of the same fruits and chicken and rice. Help?
Meditation ! Try it! It will relax your intestines just a little bit! You will get through this! Is hell but slowly the pepto will work and you will start to feel better.

What’s not the same about it? Jw cause I’m feeling the same way
@@jamesrife6475 I can’t really explain. It’s a combination of bloating, gas and cramps. I’ve done some research and it says some individuals desecrate viruses through their intestine. I think this is what’s happened to me. I wasn’t really poorly with covid. I never had a temperature or headache just fatigue and upset stomach. I’ve tried all sorts like expensive probiotics and they did help a little but I’m not back to normal yet.

How are you now? Been dealing with similar stuff since food poisoning 6 months ago. Feels like I’m recovering slowly but surely.
I had covid a month ago. Now I have developed strange tummy cramping. It comes and goes in intensity. Bloating now and then, loose stool only once in the day. Other times it’s fine. I wonder if it’s some type of ibs
I’m only a couple weeks from the onset of COVID. Came through it pretty well, but now my stomach is having issues. From being perfectly fine one minute and the next gurgling, or pain/discomfort and after eating I get some issues. Been about a week now and three since I had COVID. My blood work and CT scan came back normal. So I am sure this is COVID related. How long will this persist? I have been watching what a I eat closely and currently taking probiotics.
Same issue stomach noise and aches sometimes diarrhoea from 6 months what probiotics you are taking any benefit from that
@@puneetdhingra094 a simple over the counter probiotic. I have a cocktail of stuff I take every evening and I am definitely doing much better now. Not 100% but better than I was when writing that. I take a probiotic, a 1000mg Vitamin C, and an immune booster. Twice a day I take Terra Origin Healthy Gut, it contains things like Glutamine and Slippery Elm Powder which is also promoting a healthy gut to continue fighting the infection.
