I call MISA the "Japanese Soul Sister" because she has more soul in her fingertips than about any bassist in rock and roll. She is now being recognized as one of the best bassists worldwide, and she deserves it. Kudos to Kanami Tono, who after composing a song, sends it to MISA for her input into the underneath tonality of the song and allowing MISA to compose the amazing riffs she does throughout each song. That along with Akane's perfect beat and the wonderful lyrics and harmonized vocals of Saiki and Miku make their sound so uniquely Band-Maid.
This is still my favourite instrumental by Band-Maid. While all the rest sound similar to a point, this sounds so different and unique. It doesn't mean that others aren't, it just holds a special place in my heart.
I'm a big fan of this song, but the instrumental "without holding back" is the bomb. There's a MV for it.... The White Room version. Akane and her kick drum steal the show, indicative of her drumming on the album, Unseen World.

In one of the interviews, Misa says she doesn't know how she learned that trick for palming her pick. At some point she just realized she was doing it and wasn't sure when she'd started.

The bassist is MISA (the Barefoot Assassin, all caps and no last name. MISA! MISA! MISA!). That pick trick is awesome! In one of the interviews, she mentioned she's never dropped the pick in the magical transition. How true? I'm not asking, whatever MISA says...I'm good with it. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘

Onset is one of the very few songs that Kanami actually uses the trem/whammy bar on her guitar. Just for that dive bomb before her solo.
