The extremely high volume of unemployed people right now is due to government pay out checks. Do you think with UBI that employers will find more or less workers to work?
@@n.c.1201 Well, when someone finds work, he or she can no longer collect unemployment, but someone CAN keep getting UBI even if he or she has a job. If anything, I'd say that UBI is LESS of a disincentive to finding work than high unemployment benefits are.
I prefer unemployment to people losing their homes and becoming homeless, not having enough to eat or being able to feed their families, families being separated because they cannot afford to take care of their kids, to more messed up childhoods, to more homlessness, to a society where the fortunate have 10 of everything and the disadvantaged continue to barely have enough to live.
@@n.c.1201 the U is for unconditional means no matter what the income earned the recipient still gets it. There is no work disincentive, the incentive is going to work anyways and earning more than the basic income pays.

That’s not pandering. Many Hispanics i know right here in my area prefer to speak Spanish and watch TV channels in Spanish and its ads like these that target that segment of Hispanics. Every politician does at least some ads in Spanish given including republicans.

@@williamkelly5689 I wouldn’t see the reason to be offended over what seems like a Spanish ad that would air on Spanish TV channels or campaign posters in Spanish in predominantly Spanish speaking communities. Cant speak for others though only for latinos. You do have a group of latinos however that pride themselves in not wanting to speak or learn Spanish and even go on to believe we should keep everything in English. They’re a minority though

I think it's 20% of total Palestinian casualties are children and about 12% of Israeli casualties are children since the conflict began 53 years ago. Faced with this, it's hard to say which side to support (if either). Yang's in a tight spot if a lot of NY elites (campaign funders) are pro-Israel, not that it makes his tweet palatable to everyone else. All we can really do as westerners is keep the church separate from the state.
