First time I've ever watched a video like this and I knew all the roads and locations. Gives it a different perspective. Thank you to the firefighters and medics who help and save!
I can see why this sort of video was highly requested. You guys are an awesome department! I adore Ladder 341 too, I love tillers and I LOVE Seagraves, and its both! Also, nice choice of music!
One of the best "fire department responding" videos I have ever seen. I'd get nauseous if I were the Tillerman! And Eminence Front could not have been a better choice.
CFD, did IFD help train your initial tiller-operators? IFD had two tillers until they replaced the 31 Truck with a straight stick. 7s took delivery just a few years ago on a new tiller.
mean as! this is awesome and as soon as I heard the music come on I knew this was gonna be cool and the music goes with it. mean as hell! thats the shit, chur
Acutally this was an average to slower day for station 41. Keep in mind this was for all station 41 trucks. A more typical day would be the trucks combined going out 18-20 times. (Medic, Engine, Ladder, Battalion)
As with any fire station, some days the trucks only move a handful of times, and other days they are hardly even at the station out on runs. If we were to break it down, combining all the trucks at the station, here are the number of times they go out on a typical day. Station 42, single engine: 5-7 station 43, single engine: 4-6 station 44, engine, medic: 8-10 station 45, engine, medic: 14-16 station 46, engine, medic: 12-14 And then in addition to emergency calls, these same trucks are out doing inspections, training, public details, school safety talks, community events... etc. That is NOT factored into the "calls per day".
Great footage. A busy house indeed. But that footage from the tiller really messes with your head, what with its rear wheel steering! Great video. But could you please tell me where Carmel is?
they probably run more calls than the large stations over here. In the city where I usedto live the professional fire department operated a station with 47 truck bays. Well, it got too small over the years, currently they build the new station with 55 truck bays. BUt they only run an average of 5 to 6 calls in a 24 hour shift
Hi Tyler! Yes we are a paid department located in Carmel Indiana, just north of Indianapolis. We have several videos on our channel including our department profile video to give you more info on who we are. Thanks!
I want drivers in the USA to Yield to Emergency vehicles with Emergency lights and Sirens activated!! Those vehicles and the people in them might be trying to go save a life or property! Let's all get out of the way quickly and safely!!
So glad I don't live in that soul sucking state anymore.... And Hamilton County was the worst suck ever..... Best not travel into that county without a "29" on your license plate. Immediate traffic stop.

Wow- that ladder has a lot of play when you guys make turns. Ours sits locked snuggly in the cradle never moves. Love the video through.
I'm inspired by you
Nice tiller fire truck
Nice to see you using GoPro Cameras on your apparatus! Carmel Fire Department
Looks like your staffing on that ladder is at least 4. Not many communities your size are able to do that. Good stuff!
Awesome how you did eminence front and timed it perfectly with the federal Q starting up!
Rather just hear that Q than the music. But nice video
Steer trailers are the sexiest thing in heavy rig work ever whether fire truck or semi
Ok 3:50 you're just showing off lmao
Keep safe brothers.

Thanks for the nice comment!

Nice mix with the music. I can hear a siren any time.
thanks for the ride from liberty ky
This video was very nicely presented, along with the song "Eminence Front". It went very well with it! Nice Job!
Fantastic video! Somethings you just take with you.
Keep it up guys.
From Georgia saying beautiful town and wonderful video
Thanks! If your ever in town let us know, we'll show you around!

This is my future job I want to be out there saving lives and helping people
Awesome!
I'm not usually a fan of background music with response vids, but this was a really good choice.
Whats that fantastic song?
Nicely done! Future editor here.

Nice Video, Carmel Fire Department! When I get into Biloxi Fire Department, I will try to make a video like this.
Busy station you visited. Was that a typical day for that station? Thanks for the video also.
Yes, pretty typical.
Was this a busy day for you all, or do you all normally average around 11 runs per day from station 41?
Acutally this was an average to slower day for station 41. Keep in mind this was for all station 41 trucks. A more typical day would be the trucks combined going out 18-20 times. (Medic, Engine, Ladder, Battalion)
Carmel Fire Department wow! That is quite a lot of calls. May I ask how many calls your other stations would typically get in a day?
As with any fire station, some days the trucks only move a handful of times, and other days they are hardly even at the station out on runs. If we were to break it down, combining all the trucks at the station, here are the number of times they go out on a typical day.
Station 42, single engine: 5-7
station 43, single engine: 4-6
station 44, engine, medic: 8-10
station 45, engine, medic: 14-16
station 46, engine, medic: 12-14
And then in addition to emergency calls, these same trucks are out doing inspections, training, public details, school safety talks, community events... etc. That is NOT factored into the "calls per day".
Carmel Fire Department thats awesome. Love the video by the way. Amazing song choice, too.
Carmel Fire Department u guts looking for help
Great footage. A busy house indeed. But that footage from the tiller really messes with your head, what with its rear wheel steering! Great video. But could you please tell me where Carmel is?
Yes it does! We'll do a tiller exclusive video soon with some additional angles. Carmel is in Indiana, just North of Indianapolis.

I want drivers in the USA to Yield to Emergency vehicles with Emergency lights and Sirens activated!! Those vehicles and the people in them might be trying to go save a life or property! Let's all get out of the way quickly and safely!!
I don't know about some of the drivers in that area! You hear a siren, you pull over! Not that hard!
Some people can't hear, some people don't care.
So many roundabouts lol
No kidding, however from a responders point of view, we love them!
@@CarmelFireDepartment get to show off the tiller
Tho Who!
Jesus Loves You
I gave it a THUMBS DOWN due to INCOMPLETE SCENES.
