@@landon-z3q reason for that is due to all of the roundabouts and our tight streets and neighborhood roads in the city. plus due to us not having a rescue/tac or heavy rescue you can better utilize the tiller to also carry extrication equiptment to cut back on having to cross staff a rescue
@@landon-z3q also just because there arent a lot of 100+ ft buildings doesnt mean that a normal ladder would still do the same job. most base pierce ladders are 75-107 feet so that still conflicts that statement. plus apparatus parking plays a huge part in that. with a tiller you can better position your apparatus
