    As someone who is deathly allergic to cheese, I call b.s. on the dude who ate the cheeseburger who claimed to be allergic. If you're allergic to something, you NEVER eat it, so if you happen to accidentally eat even a little, you notice the odd taste IMMEDIATELY. Not after you eat the whole burger. I've had this happen to me multiple times...

    • @Isabella66Gracen
      @Isabella66Gracen 2 года назад +23

      Excellent point. I assume if you are deathly allergic to something, even if you ordered it without, you're going to double check. It would be a habit. Also, I have never seen a burger with cheese in fast food joints, when I couldn't see the edges of melted cheese outside of the bun. Its very noticeable.

    • @Hippooo-mk7ut
      @Hippooo-mk7ut 2 года назад +8

      Like i could see it being one bite and noticing it tastes different then checking to see the cheese. In that situation i could see it reasonable for the company to have give enough composition to cover the medical bills and MAYBE a small amount outside of that. But even that is kinda like not neccery but more of a kind jester for the mistake and problems it caused.

      When you place an order at KFC it CLEARLY says how many pieces you get. As a matter a fact you order by the number of chicken pieces. Eg: “I’ll have the 8 piece meal w/...”.
      If she had the correct number of pieces then she was not cheated at all. And she kept going back...if she really was unhappy she could have ordered a larger meal or stopped going to KFC all together. There are other places that sell fried chicken. It was a frivolous and ridiculous law suit.

    • @FlowerGemsGirl
      @FlowerGemsGirl Год назад +1

      The KFC add does not say an 8 piece bucket will fill a family, only if you get the whole meal with sides. If anyone looked at the menu and thought, 8 pieces of chicken is fine for 6 people, is an idiot. Usually the add will specify the larger size bucket with the sides as well. Plus, look on their website under nutritional guide. It says 2 pieces of chicken are considered one serving. The 8 piece is more for 2-3 people if you have no sides. This lady was just taking it out on KFC when she couldn’t use simple logic and check their website. She just wanted to get some fame and make a statement.

      We still took a report on it just in case the supplier had made an error and also to log it in case the customer tried filing a claim with an altered story, but we were pretty sure the customer put it in themselves (policy is to not accuse them directly though).

      @@grazutissmith9647 It's not possible to have a second grill. Those grills are huge as is, and cost a lot of money. With all the other equipment, there's just no space for a second grill without either renovating or building a whole new restaurant. And for mall restaurants, renovating wouldn't provide much more if any more space. Fast food places are limited on space. Having worked at A&W and selling the beyond burger, we can't even use part of the one grill for just beyond burgers, because when it gets busy you're cooking meat patties across two thirds of the grill and prepping meat patties for burgers on the other third, so they end up in meat juice too, especially if we end up having to cook fresh ones while busy and cooking fresh meat. If customers ask, we will clean off part of the grill, and even cook it fresh on a clean part of the grill, even if it's busy, but it puts us behind on orders. With the new clam shell grills, it takes 5 minutes to cook a beyond burger fresh, so on the old grills without the platons, it would be 10 minutes or more. Fast food workers are typically expected to get orders out in under 2 minutes, not that it's usually possible. Sometimes we'd have so many orders come in that we've got about 2 to 3 screens pending.

      I worked for cineplex and it's 100% ill-prepared management being given free reign for 3-4 years before getting fired in all those places. the morning shift had not unjammed the ice machine so it didn't fill up and we ran out half way through an evening shift. cineplex uses metric tons of ice because it cools the drinks, they run like 15 soda dispensers and have to fill the under part with ice to make the soda come out cool, they use that same ice to fill the drinks so it needs to be replenished.
      anyways when we ran out they told me not to tell the customers, they told me to not give them ice unless they ask and then give them like 2 cubes. I almost got fired for telling them how that was gaslighting the customers. they also had us shilling out tiny charges for squirts of butter on the popcorn and stuff. turns out the guys had ran out of butter one day i wasnt there then neglected to explain that the salt they put on the popcorn is what gives it the butter flavour, so the customers thought we were serving plain unseasoned popcorn

    • @Deadganon

      they hide the napkins, etc behind the counter cuz people now adays just grab like 100 napkins just for their selves instead of just taking a few, so now you have to ask for them cuz businesses are losing money cuz people are just dumb and want to take a truck full of napkins when they only ordered a hamburger then they just throw the rest away.... even then, it isn't a good enough reason to sue.

One guy after eating the one chicken leg ordered demanded a free bucket of chicken because when he ate down to the bone he found a hair inside the meat. The manager called b.s. and after the guy was finished cursing and yelling over being called a liar the manager asked him how a hair could end up inside meat considering meat is not something made with batter or dough. It took the guy a minute or so but he realized that he should have claimed the hair was stuck to the outside of the leg, not inside it. He dropped the f-bomb and stormed out of the restaurant.

    That's why I say "gossiper's are usually the troublemaker.!"
    You can never believe 99% of what comes out of people's mouth.
    If you accuse somebody of doing something wrong , if I know who you are accusing of doing wrong. I will give that other person benefit of adoubt until they themselves have proven the other person right.
    Don't believe everything that comes out of someone's mouth, the first to gossiper about something or something is usually the troblemaker in the group.
