When a fast food restaurant charges more than the one down the street. The cheaper one is more than likely a corporate location, while the other one is a franchise. The extra few cents helps pay the franchise & other fees they have to pay.

That's true. Which is also why some mom & pop places can be a little bit pricier. Not all, but half I would say. But then some of those places don't really have to because they're that GOOD and they're always busy, etc., and might not have to worry about those fees (whatever they may be) I guess.

Okay, I'm going to side with the lady that took BK to court over the "value menu" thing. Yes, it was posted that ordering the items separately was cheaper, but using the word "value" implies that option is cheaper. Therefore, I would agree with false advertisement.
If a car dealer were to place a "sale" sign on a car while they have an identical car with a lower asking price would be a similar situation, false advertising.

People need to take responsibility for their own pocketbooks. Do some simple math with the products that you want to order and figure out what the better deal is for yourself. If that’s too difficult for people to figure out, most people have a calculator on their phone. It’s not that complicated. People need to stop being so damn lazy and expect every little thing to be done for them, and stop being surprised when some of these things are done for them by companies that are looking to make a profit and then being overcharged for doing so.

7:37 I knew this one. I figured that out about 6/7 years ago and started to just order the items individually since. Unless I’m ordering a Big Mac meal Large size. Then I save about 40 cents + f/b tax. I have yet to figure out why the nugget meal and Big Mac meal cheaper as a meal vs individual. Yet the rest isn’t. Especially, the breakfast menu.

The woman who sued Burger King over the 20 cents difference in soda may not have known that it is a franchise company so they are in competition with each other.
Someone please explain to me why WAWA pulls this nonsense with their gas prices? One store has it the same price as everyone else and a 1/4 down the road it's 30 cents more a gallon. They are not a franchised company. Just ripping off customers I guess.
