Shame on you for including Stella Liebeck's case. You even ADMITTED that McDonald's KNEW that the coffee was too hot. They had settled multiple cases out of court. Lieback suffered 3rd degree burns. This case would never have gone to court if McDonald's had simply paid her hospital bill. In the end, that was all she had really wanted. But when you consider how many people suffered serious 3rd degree burns, it was time someone hit them in the wallet to get McDonald's to change.
Lids also changed, making them much easier to open. All good things. Instead, you shamefully label Stella like a lot of other people.

KFC never once advertised that you actually get an overflowing bucket of chicken, and how do customers expect them to put the lid on? Also I'm guessing the "insufficient facts" is that they invited over a whole bunch of family expecting to feed an entire party of people, when it's really for a family of 3-4.

But with almost 8 billion people on this planet you'll hardly ever find yourself being the only one to think of do anything..no matter how weird or crazy it is....nice try though Subway.. maybe in almost any other country but America u can get away with saying Footlong is just the name of the sandwich but until the us adopts the metric system you'll have people like me wondering and complaining..that McDonald's coffee lawsuit though is a good example of why you should never underestimate someone and then there's Starbucks which while i do agree that sometimes it seems they fill it with so much ice to give us less I'm someone who always ask for no ice or light ice if any all the time anyway..i never get why people get ice at soda fountains when the drink is already cold and ice just waters it down but whatever

Hot coffee lady was stupid, how are you going to sue for a drink being hot, when you ordered a hot drink? Obviously you might happen to get one that was from a freshly brewed pot, in which case it will be hotter. Also, in order for her to do that, she'd have to have been trying to drink it while driving, if it was that hot, she could have waited... She probably hit a bump while trying to sip, burned her lip, then dropped the coffee onto her lap. I have gone over this one on other videos, and people tried to tell me I was wrong, but come on, all it takes is some logic. It's a hot drink, of course it's going to be hot, it could even be near 100 degrees celcius when you get it. There are even warnings on the cup about the hot drink. Nobody expects luke warm coffee, she shouldn't have either. And that stupid lawsuit would be why McDonalds coffee isn't hot enough now... I didn't order a warm drink, I ordered a hot one. Might as well make coffee with hot water directly from the tap, it'd be hotter in my house.

So much misinformation. She was not driving when it happened. Her grandson was the one driving and she was in the passenger seat. They where parked when it happened. Also she got third degree burns and suffered permanent disfigurement. She was at the hospital for 8 days because and she had to undergo skin grafting, she was disabled for 2 years, because of this. Sure Cofé is hot but it should not so hot it gives third degree burns.

Well you ARE wrong as that is not at all what happened. She was a passenger in a parked car. She was taking off the lid to add cream and sugar and the coffee spilled on her lap. This caused THIRD DEGREE BURNS on her inner thighs and genitals. There was no warning stating that the coffee was THAT hot. Coffee should not be held at nearly boiling temperature, not freshly brewed, but KEPT at that temperature per McDonalds POLICY. McDonalds had received complaints about the coffee being too hot before, and it took this lawsuit to have them change policy so that coffee is not held at nearly boiling temperature coffee. Are you really saying that coffee should be consumed at that high a temperature? Hot enough to scald and burn skin? Or do you simply not know anything about the case and dont want to educate yourself on the facts because your point is "logical." While your point is logical it is not what happened, at all. You are just wrong and cant be told or shown otherwise.
