2 men for the price of Rick's group killing over a 100 in theyre sleep? Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Negan showed absolute mercy. Just because we are so invested in this group and have only seen they're perspective. We consider them the "hero's". From a more unbiased perspective, this was a good demonstration of mercy. Especially considering Negan's initial plan was to only kill Abe.
The Gang definitely. I’m not defending his actions here I’m simply saying that negan knew exactly what buttons to push and was actually pretty clever when it came to this kinda.. stuff

@@Zodroo_Tint it was one of the best episodes of the show. This has always been a character driven show and its good to see how people develop and adapt to the new world order.

And this my friends was the end of the walking dead.... they lost half of their viewership after this episode and 2/3 of their fans by the end of the season. Now, they did have a slight rebound of new viewers by the end of the series, but most of the fans that watched from episode 1 season 1 left the show. this is technically the episode that killed the walking dead
I love how the entire time you can see Negan looking for the biggest threat and when he realises Abraham is the biggest threat to his mission, he looks for the moral compass of the group that keeps it together in case he needs to kill another person, and he does when Daryl goes against orders
Really surprised no one killed Negan for the entire run from this point on. Glenn was an OG. He was close to every single one of the original group. Negan had his redemptive moments… but I don’t know how anyone ever let this slide and kill him eventually.
I almost had a panic attack when I first saw this scene, watching two characters I both heavily admired just get brutally killed like that was just the most terrifying thing and also very sad and tragic thing I’ve seen in film media in the past 20 years. The suspense is developed so great when we first meet Negan. It all pays off too and leaves us feeling so shocked
Now that I look back at this, Daryl punching Negan which lead to Glenn’s death is almost like Star Lord punching Thanos which lead to the Avengers losing their grip on him and then he eventually becomes victorious. Much different and bigger result in Infinity War but somewhat the same scenario.
@@drelude3387 And how often did Rick show Glenn that he was gratful, except keeping him out out of important decisions that ever happened, Treating him like nothing more than his lab dog, and Leaving his murderer alive

This was (if not one of) the most powerless Rick ever felt in the show. He and his group were like an unstoppable force but when they met Negan and the Saviors, it showed what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.
I have always loved how Glenn just gasps after Negan finishes bashing Abe’s head in like Glenn’s thinking what a fucking horrible way to die and I hope I don’t die like that only to suffer the same fate a minute later and actually being mocked in his dying breaths and left to suffer w/ extensive injuries until Negan finished his no exceptions speech. I loved every second of it whereas my dad kept saying for Negan to just put Glenn out of his misery already.
This is when I and I believe millions of others stopped watching this series!!! It was great when they were fighting zombies. But when humans started fighting each other ( before this season but getting worse and worse ) that was the end for me. As much as I love glenn, Abraham’s death also had a huge impact on the group and I feel like it was also a turning point for Sasha, Rosita and Eugene, specifically Eugene because he probably wouldn’t have turned to Negan if Abraham was still alive.
While I was shaken up at this scen I was also expecting Negan to be like "I can't do it. Just because we are so invested in this group and have only seen they're perspective. We consider them the "hero's". From a more unbiased perspective, this was a good demonstration of mercy. Especially considering Negan's initial plan was to only kill Abe.
1:46 biggest mistake of the season
But it just shows negans genius . You hit me? You probably don’t care if you die . So I’ll kill your buddy .. it’s effective
It's smart but sick
@@cblack5544 yup, negan is freakin genius and savage
The Gang definitely. I’m not defending his actions here I’m simply saying that negan knew exactly what buttons to push and was actually pretty clever when it came to this kinda.. stuff
@@cblack5544 He didn't want to push any buttons to kill another. He was going straight to just torment Rick the entire time and let them go.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan's daughters future boyfriends, take notes. This is her father, and he is Negan!
nice 😂
Fatal flaw of your statement: He has a 9 and a 14 year old son, two sons, no daughters. How tf is he going to have future daughters boyfriends to deal with when he has no daughters unless he has them now and is in his 80's by the time they're of age?
@@jameswasil First of all
His son is 10 years old
And he have a 2 years old daughter
So what are you saying dude😅
@@haneensamir4234 maybe he doesn’t know because his daughter’s name is George 🤣
I think it’s kinda unique to call a girl with a boy’s name, loved it tho
Good thing he only has 2 sons. But I wouldn't mess with those 2 boys.
Wait I never noticed Rick said "Daryl!" after Daryl swung at Negan. It's like he already knew Negan was a huge threat after Abe's death.
Man he legit tortured Glenn. And the fact that Daryl has to live with the fact that his actions led to that. Man Negan is THE Villain.
Abrahams expression made me sad 😞, the actor did really good. It was a face of farewell friends but willingly taking one for the team. the way how he held himself up, made me hold my tears because one hit does impact fear in his heart for his friends. indeed he died with no fear
The best episode. It's seared into our memory good or bad. That's when you know the producers made the right choice showing the brutality.
You are wrong. It's in your memory because it was shocking not because it was good.
@@Zodroo_Tint it was one of the best episodes of the show. This has always been a character driven show and its good to see how people develop and adapt to the new world order.
Was the last good episode agreed. Then went to shit after that
@@solidvirgol87I agree.
if yall notice he took out rick strongest men in took daryl with him
Ronnie Jones right on
I noticed that! especially cuz he said " you need a right hand man"
Frank TruthTV Glenn wasn’t a wuss, he had a kind nature throughout the series when the others were gradually turned into monsters through the killing
Frank TruthTV true
Glenn and Abraham both challenged him in a way so he took them out. And Daryl was so defiant that he kidnapped him and hoped to make him a loyal follwer
It's crazier that Negan is still kept alive throughout the series and had a redemption arc
Yo guys, 0:12 😭 Abraham actually show peace ✌️ sign to Sasha one last time 😭😭. AHHHHHHHH 😭😭😭😭
This is why Negan can never have a redemption ark imo
I love how the entire time you can see Negan looking for the biggest threat and when he realises Abraham is the biggest threat to his mission, he looks for the moral compass of the group that keeps it together in case he needs to kill another person, and he does when Daryl goes against orders
Glenn dying
Negan: ArE yOu TrYiNg To SpEaK
Really surprised no one killed Negan for the entire run from this point on. Glenn was an OG. He was close to every single one of the original group. Negan had his redemptive moments… but I don’t know how anyone ever let this slide and kill him eventually.
I almost had a panic attack when I first saw this scene, watching two characters I both heavily admired just get brutally killed like that was just the most terrifying thing and also very sad and tragic thing I’ve seen in film media in the past 20 years. The suspense is developed so great when we first meet Negan. It all pays off too and leaves us feeling so shocked
God so sad but it was a neat way to introduce such a cool character,Abraham and Glenn will be missed and negan is a fun new addition to the show
Yes. Agreed, bleep bloop
say something human
Screw Negan. I want Negan to die!
✝️
Now that I look back at this, Daryl punching Negan which lead to Glenn’s death is almost like Star Lord punching Thanos which lead to the Avengers losing their grip on him and then he eventually becomes victorious. Much different and bigger result in Infinity War but somewhat the same scenario.
I love how everyone is mortified/crying, but Carl still looks like he wants to take a swing at Negan
because hes the most fearless and badass character.

Antonio Martinez nahh Glenn was like his best friend
Brandon Corbin yeah idk what this other dude is talking bout
Glenn saved his life
@@drelude3387 And how often did Rick show Glenn that he was gratful, except keeping him out out of important decisions that ever happened, Treating him like nothing more than his lab dog, and Leaving his murderer alive
@@ItsBeezy777 No, as far as im concerned Rick see's Daryl more as his best friend than he's ever seen Glenn as anything
He cared about Glenn sure but that's no excuse to pick someone who tried to kill u over someone who saved u
This was (if not one of) the most powerless Rick ever felt in the show. He and his group were like an unstoppable force but when they met Negan and the Saviors, it showed what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.
come on guys, we all know glenn is going to pop up back in season 11 or so and claims to have hidden under a dumpster all the time.
Me: There will never be a villain I like more than handsome jack.
Negan: hold Lucille
Negan then: 😈
Negan now: 🥺
Finally, someone who kept in the bits between their deaths
This is when I and I believe millions of others stopped watching this series!!! It was great when they were fighting zombies. But when humans started fighting each other ( before this season but getting worse and worse ) that was the end for me. There is enough hatred and division, and murder in the actual world of humans, I don't need to fill my spare time also watching it in programs.
And worst of all! Now the series want us to feel sorry for those who were sadistic manipulative tyrants like Negan. 😡
@@frankcortes6852 Really? Yea like I said I haven't watched it in years. But this doesn't surprise me. In the whole world it seems like evil is the new good. In real life if you question wrong many times " They " say you are wrong. But I put my trust in God. He never changes 🙂
@@user-ru6mq5sc5n I also hate when humans fight each other in zombie movies or series. I want the zombies to be the stars, not the humans! 😤
I should have stopped watching this series like all of you! Turning this iconic villain into a goody two shoes and spending so many years of my life for such an incomplete ending like in this series was a TERRIBLE mistake!!! 😠
1:39 swings the bat vertically but blood spatter is horizontal, Neegan doesn’t even obey the laws of physics
When glenn gets hit you can see some of the men behind him jumping they didn’t even see it coming.
Negan did hit Glenn out of nowhere. No one saw it coming
Everyone was in tears but Carl he was just seething with rage.
Rick and crew had always emerged as top dog. The farm, prison, the Governor, etc. Anywhere they went, they took charge and showed that they knew how to "deal with problems". Rick always became the authority figure and made all of the decisions. That is, until this night. Imagine being in top, over and over. Then suddenly, you are on your knees watching your closest friends/family getting beat to death with a bat. This was the most damaging thing psychologicly that they would ever deal with.
fun fact: before a character in the series is about to die, a last dinner is made for the actor of that same character who is about to die, and no one tells the waiters about what's going on
negan: i am truly sorry
also negan: proceeds to smile about giving glenn the lucille treatment
I remember the first time seeing this scene I cried like a baby.

You and me both!
i think the writters had him say that because originally maggie was suppose to die instead of abraham but then they switched it up but if it went that way then glenn would be referecing to seeing her in heaven
@@lancemuise2005 Wrong
I remember watching this for the first time. I swear I was stressed and sweating like it was happening in front of me. Didnt ever feel like that in a freaking TV show. I swear I felt real grief for Glenn as if he was real. Weird
That's when you know a show is good. When it feels real. I wish the show would've kept that feeling for me. But unfortunately the last couple seasons I stopped feeling that way for numerous reasons. But yeah during this time in the show I was the same way. I literally wanted to jump in the screen and try and help Abraham when he started getting beat
I feel like Negan picked what he thought was the strongest guy and smartest
This episode and the episode right before this were the best two episode of the entire show in my opinion.
To this day I cannot rewatch this scene. I can’t bring myself to watch it again all these years later. not only is it gruesome but very painful to watch these two beloved characters go out like this.
As Negal said to Maggie: "If I had the chance to do it all over again, i would kill all of you on sight" and i felt that.
I love a villain that brings true meaning to the word *ruthless*
Honestly, it's not this event that makes Negan a villain. This was justice not murder. Justice is not evil. Injustice is evil.
@@CleanWithConfidencewtf
@@JoSheperd Yea, Rick and the gang unjustly killed a whole crew of Negan's men. Negan could have justly taken the lives of all of Rick and the gang and he only took a few here.

The last walking dead episode I watched. It's been 3 years and I haven't returned
Who’s here after seeing Negan from season 9 finale and started to like him and came here to get reminded how we hated him?
Karl Lin if you want a proper reminder you should search for the scene when Rick & co slaughtered about 50 Saviors. Depends on perspective- negan was bad but he was the most normal/ sane out of all protagonists we’ve had and it makes sense he would find redemption when he realises what he did wasn’t right or worth it in the end. Why is liking him a bad thing for you?
I came here to remind people why he deserves to die.
Favorite scene of the show. There’s so much emotion and detail in this scene. Well done.
I really love the lighting and sound design of this scene
As much as I love glenn, Abraham’s death also had a huge impact on the group and I feel like it was also a turning point for Sasha, Rosita and Eugene, specifically Eugene because he probably wouldn’t have turned to Negan if Abraham was still alive.
Bruh before the video ends began saying,”You bunch of pussies!” got me dead😂😂😂
What’s particularly brutal about Glens death is he cracked him twice then waited for like 20 seconds while he was in agonizing pain.
No way Negan gets to become a “good guy” after this!
after all these years.....still traumatized by this
This was thee most intense moment on TWD. R.I.P. Abraham, and Glen! I am a Negan Fan
Imagine someone just screw this scene up by laughing
I'm sad that Abraham died thinking he's the only one and that no one else had to die.
What broke me was that last line from Glenn "Maggie Ill find you" I remember I broke up
While I was shaken up at this scen I was also expecting Negan to be like "I can't do it. I seriously can't pick a winner." and then there would be like 15 seconds of silence as he turns his back and then suddenly he goes "heh just kidding!" and then he turns around and bashes Abraham's head in. I feel like this would've add more shock
