Since it doesn't interfere much I went with the custom front lip to lift the nose up instead. While it doesn't have the stance anymore I don't have to drill my aluminium shock tower.
I wish I had the Camaro though, that one won't need the mod.
Ok got it 😊 , I'm going to a video where I test different bodies. I've just tested a stock k989 outside today.... Omg... I never tested like this before( I went straight to drift mods in 2018 ) . Its rapid...and handles pretty well and the diffs aren't bad out of the box.... I had so much fun...

FWD compatible bodies fit easily on Wltoys K989.
I adapted a Mégane RS on mine!

@@GarageMiniRCUK after we do the mao3 fed to and conversion and get a new body it seems we all have a Megan’e laying around :) idk my hubs hit the megane body bad
K989 is very wide. I haven't had a chance to test this yet.

is it possible to just put holes in the miniZ body to sit on the existing body mounts rather than doing all that?
Yes. But most modders dont want to drill holes in autoscale bodies. Magnetic mounts are the better option .

I I have the one way diffs in stock 😂 I'll check stock levels this weekend... Gl racing wheels with ds racing tyres.. The tool is off amazon I'll find the link

It's low key.... Ive not been pushing it. To be honest I can't keep up if I get swamped, so I mainly do custom builds for people.

For some reason I couldn't check out using Chrome, had to use Edge/Internet Explorer.
Ok thanks saw it come through, I'll check into the chrome issue . I have 2 one way diffs left 😁(from 20) I've ordered more as no one else seems to have any.. Did you want LF1 ds racing tyres? Just checking as I have LF5 and LF3 aswell.

So on the vette what was the offset in the front and back you didn’t seem clear on it in the video. And awesome stuff by the way!
Front was offset one rear was offset 2 I changed it a few times .

I am thinking to buy k969 and I have some question. I may change my mind on your expert advice.
The main difference between Wltoys k969 and k989 is the differential. The k969 has locked and k989 has conventional diffs.
So which is better, in terms of handling when driving indoors on the carpet, going straight and drifting when needed? Locked or conventional diffs?

I think k989. You can alwys lock the diffs later. But only issue k989 has tyres not drift wheels. You would have to buy drift wheels.
Would you be able to do a rwd mod and adding a gyro to it?
Yes but it's not easy.

With the zr1 yes. Probably not with camaro.
