I may not use more than two pots/pans at a time, but I do use several different sizes, from 13 inches to 6 inches, from skillet to stockpot...

You may not need a countertop utensil crock, but many of us do, either for visual help or because there is not enough drawer space. Also I have several different shaped wooden spoons that I use for different pans/recipes

Lol my mom had two of those heart pans and she has soooo much kitchen stuff among other things so when she asked me if I wanted it I said yes just so I could get rid of it.

So funny! My daughter picked it up at a garage sale years ago and then proceeded to never use it ha!

My partner has ADHD and hates drawers so, since he does a lot of cooking, we're good with having a utensil crock on the counter. I'm a minimalist but you wouldn't know it by looking at our kitchen counters because my partner is a visual organizer and needs easy access. We keep a notepad and pens out as well as our coffee station, toaster station, toaster oven, and his drop zone so he has the visual clues to take his medications, remember his wallet, and everything else he needs to leave the house without forgetting anything.

Thanks for sharing, Jenny! I think my husband is also a visual organizer!

I have adhd and need visual aids and am a visual organizer. However im overstimulated by all the visual stuff so i have to balance it all. Paring down my drawers and cupboards helps keep me visually organized and not stimulated when i open my drawers and cupboard doors and remember and find things easily. (I still leave a trail of cupboards and drawers open... But its ok) my pantry has to be labelled and i have a huge dry erase board on the wall in the kitchen so i have those visual reminders. Its so hard to feel like im battling against myself

@@zmommy4044 Haha yes, the trail of open drawers and cupboard doors... I think I commented about that on a different video! We have a calendar on the wall in the kitchen and my partner with ADHD has many papers scattered about as reminders. He never gets overstimulated (whereas my daughter with ADHD very easily does) and I'm sure that is a really tough battle for you.

Counter top utensil holder….need it. I don’t have a ton of drawer space and I use them everyday.

In the Netherlands we can put a sticker on our mailbox that says No junk mail. If companies still put junk mail in it, they get fined. It's so nice to not to have to deal with that.

I would love to have no mail or "entry way" items in the kitchen! I have yet to find a house in which the exterior door does not open directly into the kitchen. Horrible design.

So true - lots of houses open right up into the kitchen or even living room I have seen!

Its funny how people who are normal dont see how people who need visual have issues with stuff they cant see!

We for sure use 6 pots and pans at least a couple times per week. North African family and lots of cooking. The whole kitchen gets used and the dining room too!

Love it! In that case - definitely keep those pots and pans!

I also have a ton of oven mitts, towels, and cups that people gave me over the years. I use a journal notebook called Throw It Away by Guru Notebooks to try to get rid of some, helps me think through the process.
