I use to drift while I was learning to drive then when I got the lesson, always look to the end of the road, if you look right or left you will drift. When i started looking way out that was when I started to drive stable and centered
He's right. I learnt from a person who drives Volvo multi axle coaches. First thing he told me was to look ahead & think of the car's body as your own body. That way u don't touch anything.
Oh my ! If all English speakers would speak or pronounce words the way you , We non-English speakers would understand . You' re very clear and loud enough to be heard .
John Mcclane Start driving in open areas until you get the measurements of your vehicle, then when you think you're ready to enter the roads, do it. A friend of mine who got a new car, that is very tall from the front, so you can only see half of the road in front of you, he was really anxious and afraid to drive it, until I told him what I told you. Now he's very confident in his driving. Just make sure that you know the measurements of your vehicle. And by measurements, I mean for example: whether your vehicle would fit between the two cars in the parking of not.
I just had my first lesson yesterday and this was something I struggled with also with pulling up next to the pavement I couldnt see how close I was and also when it comes to stopping in front of a white line I can't tell if I'm close enough or what.
I’m taking my drivers test in like a hour and all I’m doing is watching these driving videos 😭 I’m so nervous I failed the first time this is my second time taking the best
I have been driving since 17 I’m 37 now & used to have zero issues or problems driving , then my little sister died in a tragic car accident 🥺 ever since then it’s been extremely hard for me to see centered for some reason… I find myself avoiding being hit almost every time I drive, so I’m hoping this video will help
When I'm practicing driving, I always look directly in front of my car because I fear that I'm going to sway left and right or end up on one of the lines. I think if I'm looking far ahead then I'm going to lose focus on what's directly in front of me and still end up swaying. I don't know, it's mind boggling. Any advice or tips?
Could you please make another video explaining driving centered along curvy roads in depth like when or how to steer the wheel correctly along each left or right curve in the road...im having trouble with that where i live
I learned on one of them land yachts from the 80's. "Aim the hood ornament", haha. For real though just look at the car ahead of you and you'll follow it. Get a good feeling for the car's dimensions as well. I drive into Chicago where lanes are kind of a joke so it's important to know if you're going to touch the car driving next to you
Get in the car and drive. I have had a phobia of driving since I was a kid. Finally got my license at 24 and the only reason that happened was because I told myself I HAD to do it. So I got in the car and practiced driving. I got over the fear real quick. Everybody makes mistakes, I've got my license and I'm still watching videos on how to keep my car centered in the lane.
Very helpful video! everything he's saying not to do I'm doing so no wonder I'm moving all over the place in the lanes. Thank you for the helpful tips and I hope I get myself centred soon!
I had problems driving straight I kept turning right and left i watched this video and this helped a lot i drove straight today and I just wanted to say thanks
Thank you for this! I'm trying to learn and while I did ok going through town, I had trouble keeping centered on the backroads, I kept looking to my sides and ended up on the shoulder even though I felt too close to the left side.
Good job, DIY! That is perhaps the most detailed expert advice regarding how to keep centered in your lane that I have ever heard in my many years of experience as a professional in-car driving instructor. There's a lot for me to unpack here, and I think I'll create a readers' transcript of your words so that I can let your instruction sink in. Thank you, Sir, from Sudbury, Ontario! P.S. - Dumb question maybe but, are you a working, professional, licensed driving instructor?
lavliina Hi, keep your vision ahead of you and try to stop focus on oncoming traffic. The very left of your car or right depending on the hand drive it is shows where you are in the road. Keep checking your mirrors to make sure you’re out of anyone’s way that’s incoming. Hope this helps, driving is difficult when you first start. It gets easier as you settle into it.
Just started learning driving. Been doing pretty decent. Most I've done is do laps in a big parking lot and pretend there are stop signs and putting turn signals on. I still get nervous though. One reason you could be nervous is the person teaching you.
Thanks, I was driving on curves ..so nervous and my husband said I was driving into another lane. I will use your tips to ensure my car is centred .another concern is I always fear for motorcyclists around me..I wonder do u have tips? Note : I live in southeast asia with many non-law abiding motorcycles on road
So you cruise through a parking lot over parking spaces instead of staying in the lines you, made a right-hand turn out of the parking lot and went directly to the left-hand turn lane, made a left turn without a turn signal then you pulled to the right lane after you’re done with the turn, what is right with this video!?
Thanks for the tips! Helps me get more ready for my test. I am always freaking out about staying center.. And parking. Had one (well technically 2 when I reversed in an anxious sweep) ding and now my brain is all fucked up.. Thanks, again for this video!
He's the happiest man that I've ever seen.
Many thanks for this video

Driving looks fun I wish I can be relaxed,my anxiety levels shoot up everytime.i hold the wheel,I think this will make me feel relaxed for tomorrow
interestingly, staying focused in life also requires looking at the future not just the present
Couldn't agree more👌
See what you did there.....
Not to much into the future or else your going to overthink
