Haha 👍
I’ve got an e bike a bit like yours fat tire they are an absolute godsend once you start riding that you won’t want to get off it. I’m 61 and it’s the best thing I ever done you will really enjoy it Gaz I hope you enjoy it. Have a great time on it. Good luck tip make sure you get a real good luck and another little tip you can get an alarm they only cost 20 quid on Amazon and They’re brilliant as loud as a car alarm, so if anybody touches your bike outside of shop say the noise will just frighten them away. You got to be so careful these days. These people are quick I know I’ve got experience👍
I'm impressed with your assembling skills! Will they sell them assembled for the faint of heart?
There would be no food left by the time he got there!!!
Love the design of that e-bike. Watch the speed of the thing though cuz they go like shit of a shovel lol. You have built your channel up from the ground up and I know it takes a hell of a lot of time editing etc so you deserve everything that comes your way Gaz ❤
Yes you're not wrong. My first time on one. Was excited lol
Hi Gareth it looks amazing. I look forward to seeing you riding it more. You did great enjoy yourself you deserve it 😊
Looks great Gareth! One note of caution. The adapter to allow a UK plug is what we call a 'Death-Dapter'. I strongly recommend that you replace it with a UK standards compliant one. At the very least ensure that it makes a connection to earth. Great vid and I wish you many fun adventures on your new bike!
Cheers for the tip. Will get one cheers.
Excellent advice.
It looks like a two pin double-insulated plug, so no earth. Good idea to put a UK plug on, though, with the appropriate fuse.
I've had an E- bike for almost 4 years now, and I love it! I really like yours with the step through frame. I must admit I'am finding it hard to cock my leg over the seat now at age 71!
Brilliant Mike yes I'm not supple anymore lol
Very nice review Gareth. E-bikes are really useful, I've got one too, but speaking as a retired engineer and science teacher, you do need to be extra careful of big Lithium batteries. Please be wise where and when you charge it, and always use the correct charger. The number of faulty and/or damaged battery packs that catch fire is a genuine worry, and I don't want to hear that one of my favourite youtubers had a fire. So safe use matters. Never charge overnight, and by preference I charge mine away from the main house exits in an outside shed. In ten years of owning one I did have one battery which suddenly started getting very hot - and fortunately I spotted it and replaced it before any damage was done... so do take care - and have fun!
Thanks
Excellent advice
I love this video, being a bicycle mechanic , and I note that we can still act like cheeky school boys when we get on those E bikes. I still have a few ebikes that I can just use the "throttle", due to their age. They are great for myself as I cannot bend my left knee much these days, and it aint easy pedalling with one leg !
Haha yes great fun arnt they
@@BaldFoodieGuy I cannot wait to see you tearing round Lidl on it
As an owner of Fiido X, I've been riding him for quite a while now and no problems have arisen, it's really satisfying, I've tried other brands of electric folding bikes before, but unfortunately they all have more or less minor problems. Thanks for the video, the titan is an astounding electric bike.
Good to know! cheers
Great bike Gaz. very pleased for you. 👍
I have the Fiido D4S it’s a light little folding e-bike from the same company. Great company and really good value stuff. I’ve had the D4S over 3yrs and I’ve put over 1100 miles on it. Only thing wrong with it is tbh performance is a bit down now compared to new, as I think the battery could do with being replaced soon. I’m sure you’ll love your bike, especially in the summer.
All the very best!
E-bike gum…..”Get the motor running and head out on the highway, looking for adventure and whatever come my way”… Born to be wild…😂👍🚴🏻♀️
Just like to point out that as an e-bike rider, e-bikes that are capable of exceeding 15.5 mph max. And also exceed 250w max motor output are illegal to ride on the road in the UK. They are also illegal if the bike can be powered without pedaling ie using a throttle either twist grip or button type throttle. This bike is capable of 28mph & has a 750w motor, howerver you can ride the bike legally if it is set in the unlocked mode. This restricts the bike to 250w output & max 15.5mph. Just a heads up on this so others are aware on e-bike rules in the UK.
Should have put LOCKED MODE, typo error.
Yes I'm within the law so all good.
That's not my understanding of the current regulations, having read many articles on the subject. If the motor is capable of outputting more than 250w, then it is illegal, it doesn't matter if you have restricted it or not.
If the bike is illegal and you get involved in an accident ie knock someone over then the police will take the bike examine it and you could end up in big trouble.
Yikes! How does the Company get away with selling them?
Let me guess *Disclaimer: 'this ebike is for OFF ROAD use only'*
Remember that a 750W motor is a 750W motor regardless of how little power you put into it.
That's true from an electrical viewpoint but not with regard the certification process which is absolutely nuts in the EU. You get tiny little folding ebikes and very powerful e-mountain bikes all claiming to be 250W yet one is as low as 140W and the other is approaching 900W like many Bosch mid-drive motor e-mountain bikes. The throttle is another issue, there is a throttle on this ebike but if it only works up to 4mph or only works up to 15.5mph if you peddle at the same time it is legal but it is not legal if it assists up to 15.5mph without peddling. That is a twist and go throttle.
That is a nice looking bike. There is so much potential in ebikes, commuting, having a bit of fun or just going places you otherwise wouldn't. For those who have never tried an ebike it does bring a smile to your face, kind of like somewhere between a normal pedal bike & a moped (but without the noise, fumes & expense, insurance etc). The only negative really is that the roads are busier than they have ever been with more dangerous drivers than there has ever been, however if you live near a park, canals or slightly off road trails its good fun (in dry weather!).
cheers John
Nice one Gareth, all the brilliant videos you do are great. You deserve a freebie. Looks a well good bike. Guess you’ll be in Lycra next !!!! Well done you 👍. Best wishes from John from Ascot.
Crackin lookin bike Gareth,I converted my wife's bike to an ebike last year using the Swytch Kit and it was so straight forward and she loves it,a lot easier for her knees as she loved going out on her bike but suffered a bit afterwards, now with the Swytch pedal assist it's no problem getting up and down hills, you'll need to get a bike trailer for it so you can fit in a camping table and chair to do your out and about carryout food reviews ,good video big pal
Cheers Ricky
As we ex London despatch riders used to say, 'if you dont fall off occasionally your just not trying hard enough'. The man should take care.
That looks like a lot of fun. You've quiet roads round your neck of the woods. I'd be on it every day exploring farm shops and free range egg supplies. You'll easy get 30 miles range out of that.
Get your Go Pros attached. It's a new dimension to your videos.
You'll also be surprised how fit you become even if you are using peddle assist.
Almost bought a Fiido M20 but saw something else I preferred for the same price as it had better spec. I got a PVY Z20 Plus 1000 today, just for fun at weekends (£1060). Man does it go fast at full power, so much fun. Your Fiido looks great though and very nice how it's all packaged and presented.
A Poor man's e-Harley!.
Thank goodness it doesn't come with a Shotgun exhaust sound.
Stay Safe. Stay Upright and enjoy the world of e-biking Gaz 👍😀
Great video! Looks like a good bike. I bought one last year and love it! Mines an Electra Townie Go 5i with bosch motor.
Gareth the name on the box said " Fiido Tit😂" Just saying. With yer dad filming and you belting up and down the road, you looked like the happy kid on Christmas morning after finding the bike Santa left for you😂😊❤❤ If people offer you free gifts, take them,it'd be rude not to. Enjoy the fruits of your labour, but always keep the same integrity & honest reviews as you have done. Allan&Family
My e-bike os 250w and came with a throttle, but it was in the box to optionally attach. I've left it off for uk law compliance .
OMG theres a guitar in the back ground.......cooking,,,,,,,,,,,,,, eddie van halen, Gordon ramsey and now evil kenevil on an E bike..................What a man
Fill your boots Gareth get what's offered old son,you entertain thousands with your vids,so this is your wages for being A You tuber...
Cheers Paul yes been out on it, need to shift some timber lol 😆
Great thumbnail Gareth good to see you getting some wind in you're hair errrm head 😀
I couldn't agree more! Enjoy some fruits of your labour! 😁
@@BaldFoodieGuy how do you shift timber on an electric bike, doesn't it do all the work for you? 😂
@@user-tr8ct9cy7h as long as I've got legs.
You’re going to love it I can assure you…Until you get that first puncture in the tyre away from home …But I had an e-bike for years and I loved it until I became to old to ride it (I’m 87) ,..I’ve never had a fire while charging in all those years.
I wish you all the very best on your new bike Gaz 👍 enjoy and stay safe ❤
Thank you kindly
Gareth it’s your channel to do with as you wish! Not sure where an electric bike fits into ethos of “food review” but time will tell ! Be safe 👍
Neat to see. In Canada over the past few years seniors have come to love them.
Insurance wise, as I'm a broker, you need to have the setting on the lowest, some rule to avoid plating, insuring and the like.
Check your home insurance wordings or better have them clarify mate. All the best from the Okanagan.
I use my fat bike for shopping, top tip, put the mudguard on before the front wheel.
Cheers pal
Looks well made, keep up the great videos .
Thanks, will do!
Be very careful accepting goods Gareth, once you've got them you have to promote them or you could be charged as the company are not obliged to take them back! This bike should only be shown off road!👍
Checked the specs Gaz and not sure if this bike is legal on UK roads as it has according to the website a 750w motor. Maximum allowed is 250w.
You could try the ENGWE 250w E26 similar styled bike @ £1399 or the L20 250w @ £999
as a ebike user struck with asma , i can now bike as i did when i was taking part in time triels. its given me back my mobilaty . yet its not lazy your still geting fit
thanks
I agree with you there ! If I go out for a few hours on a mountain bike with some rough parts, when I get back it is my shoulder, chest etc that has had a good work out.
Hmm, sometimes I think I could use something like that, especially with panniers. I live on an island where you can't go more than 7 miles in any one direction, but I don't drive and the main business strip is almost a mile away and I'm not getting any younger and it would be nice to tour the outer bits of the island. Something to think on.
Best check the regulations before you get into trouble using it on the road. Assist exceeds 15.5mph etc. Guess they forgot to point that out.
Yes that's with me pedling
Yes, I think that it is 15mph also.
@@BaldFoodieGuy the thumb throttle is also "not allowed"
Unless you have a motorcycle licence.
As long as sensible no probkem I live near a police station and oass me all the time never bothered @@BaldFoodieGuy
Sports mode will kill the battery quicker but you'll soon learn how to get the best out of it nice one gaz
Love it. Enjoy the bike. Hope it helps with the content, riding around your lovely countryside.
Cheers, have a good Easter 🐣
This looks great. It’s obviously a top of the range bike, so way out of my financial bracket. It looks like a good off roader, which would suit me on the downs.
Maybe you might get one of EV scooters to check out 🤔🤗.
Although I find them to be a pedestrians nightmare.
Handy to give my Mutly a good workout though. Going back to the bike ?
In Brighton they are going really green. There are loads of EV bike stands where you can hire an electric bike. And yes a lot of food delivery guys use them. When I get a little bit fitter I may give one a go. A plus side is you can rent one to do your shopping and there’s plenty of stations where you can leave it without having to go back to where you rented it from. Very similar to hiring a bike in Amsterdam. Mostly though they are free to use and it makes getting around the city a lot easier. Although they’re not too happy with a bunch of squaddies holding their own Arc de Triumph in around town 🤪.
Cheers Gerry, all the best 👍
😂 top do that pal , I ride mine every Sunday and review cafes around our area. They are brilliant aren’t they find a mate who has one . We went round Windermere other Sunday and off from st Anne’s to fleetwood on the prom this weekend 🎉
Its go to be Pedal assist no more than 250 Watts of power maximum speed 15mph other wise you will need registration plates and a motor bike licence
Good on you for accepting this, enjoy and look forward to the future videos, it really flies by, it's quick!
Looks a nice ebike .. I'm currently at the final stages of building my own ebike at the min to help my old lazy pegs out 😂😂😂
Ya can't say no to a free ebike. It seems to be a popular thing as well, 2 or 3 other channels I watch have taken one and enjoy them. Next time get one for the Misses. 😊
They are absolutely brilliant and loads of fun, but for getting fit, not so much
That's really good Gareth, I'll look forward to watching vids when you go out and about, maybe consider buying a Go-Pro camera? then you can film whilst being on it. 10/10.
Cheers Paul good idea.
Hahaha, sorry but the box says "Fiido tit"!!! Made me have an early morning giggle 😂. Have fun with your new e-bike, I wish someone would send me one! I hired one on holiday in Scotland and zoomed all around the Cairngorms cycle tracks - screaming occasionally because I was going too fast and hadn't cycled for years 😅. Thoroughly enjoyed it and really want one of my own now.
Great for the daily exercise and that bike goes quite fast. You can even ride it near your Lake distract on a summers day. :)
Nice one Gaz, I have a Fido L3 had miles of fun with it
Goes like a rocket. Yep, flames everywhere.
I liked it, when you kept it real. I watch your videos for the fun of food.....not some E-bike advert when everyone else nears 100,000 likes does the same...or you wouldn't have posted this up. It's an advert.
Saved you buying a bike using it for takeaway vlogs mcmaster gets loads of electric bikes to review expensive ones to boot nice work if you can get it you'll soon have your own fleet of electric bikes sideline rent them out.
Try and find somewhere safe outside of your house to store the e-bike, mate. Many insurance companies refuse to pay out now when these bikes explode and burn the house down, (you can easily research what I've said). These e-bike fires a very common nowadays.
cheers for the advice 👍
Nice one Gaz, proper went off like a rat up a drainpipe on that thing. Very impressive.
Fantastic Gareth! Thank you for sharing.👍👍
No problem 👍
Does the discount code only work within the UK? Not having it from Luxembourg, either with or without the "Titan:" prefix😢
Oh no, I hope this channel doesn't turn into a freebie promotional rubbish. It's lost the essence of real life that relates to all the viewers. We can all afford a £2.50 pie from Aldi. We can't afford an ebike.
Well, we'll give him chance - it's only one ad so far.
I’m good with anything Gareth reviews, his sense of humor, honesty and willingness to take a chance makes his channel very entertaining. That beautiful bike certainly isn’t rubbish and if it was he’d tell us. If anything he’ll get even more subscribers.
@@jimfisher5916 why is that?
The motor sounded like a jet engine as you set off up the road.
I bet that's very addictive!
Looks a good piece of kit Gareth, good for you...enjoy!
Thanks 👍
Seems like nice bit of kit, have fun and lets be careful out there!!
Cheers will do.
Looks great i would like a bike like that looks very solid and tuff looking
Yes it's a strong bike.
Very fancy Gareth. I haven’t been on a bike since I had my Chopper in the 70’s.
Got an electric car and always fancied an electric bike, was tempted until I went and looked at the price, still think they are out of the budget of most people but in time I am sure the price will come down..look forward to your future reviews..
Cheers John
Off the Aldi Gareth? Oh such adventures to come…I’m looking forward to it😃
Normally 2 amps per hour, 5-6 hours probs the bog standard 10 amp hour battery, they are fun to ride....weeeee, have fun with it Gaz 👍
Don't charge it in the house Gaz. Fire risk.
He could put it in a metal container while charging. I saw a guy on youtube testing various specialised metal containers for charging ebike batteries and even an old metal ammo box. They all stood up well against a complete catastrophic failure of the battery while charging. That being said I do agree, I'd put it in a shed or something with a sturdy metal container as a redundancy.
After seeing various electric bikes over heating and bursting into flames , best check your home insurance policy for guidelines. Looked the make up on the internet and looks like a lot of bike for the price , I thought it might have been more costly. Enjoy.
that only really applies to cheap chinese bikes...you could argue this is that...
Yep it's dependent on battery type... If it's not a named battery like Lg or Samsung then it will likely have poorly made battery management... Always ask company name of battery. I'm sure fiido is a good make or it's a just a popular make.
@@simonsaysrewind It is one of the few that are UL Certified
Hello! Can I ask something ? In UK,because the throttle, non one bike shop touch the bike for repair! If is broken if you have any issues on electrics, where you go to fix it ? Thanks
Very interested to see how the bike pans out. Thought about buying one myself but don't know anything about them. Enjoyed watching you wizz about while your Dad filmed you 😂 Like your first BMX at xmas
Thinking of buying one myself this year due to disabilities and not able to cycle too long on a normal bike!
Step through
kinda like a scooter.
I ride motorcycles and have ridden a scooter a couple of times in my life but they just don’t feel right.
Good score on the free bike 👍🏻
Nice one mate nice to see you enjoying the bike looks
Like it goes at some speed after all that bike riding you might eat more 😄
Looks very sturdy and functional but I wouldn’t be charging a Chinese e bike in doors. And their very own sales literature says that due to its 28mph top speed, it is illegal to use on British roads or pavements!😮
I couldn't find that warning on the site but admittedly didn't look for very long however the ebike comes preset to 15.5mph and has to be unlocked for higher speeds and this is a common situation for many ebikes.
Hey up Garath my man!!! That bike is like what you keep on telling us all…….It’s SPOT ON!!!!
Cannot wait to see you try and get that in the microwave Gareth!!!
Hi, thank you for your review. Please tell me how to unlock the speed limit?
Hahaha like a big kid at Xmas out on the street with your bike 🤣 enjoy mate!
Cheers pal
Eazy mate, I've got a electric carrera I got it 4 fishing, I'm 52 the best thing I ever bought chief. All the best from GRIMSBY
Sounds great! cheers pal
Hi there , BFG ,nice change of video mate. Reckon this could be a great addition ,to already fabulous food channel ( or a branch off,) there s mucho coin available for you there and hope all goes well. cheers Kev in Oz (australia)

How does it work with licensing and Road tax on these?
What a Beast,I'm talking about the bike by the way lol,can shift thats for sure,Best of luck Gareth,Ally
Lucky you. Enjoy !
Nice m8 iv got electric bike really good and with it being electric makes u get in it more keep up the good work pal 👍
Thanks 👍
Just a bit of a heads up I have a fat tyre e bike if u pop a tyre halfords dnt fix them unless u buy bike there iv had 3 punctures put slime in both tyres not had a puncture since
cheers mate
Lmao Gaz when you said i cant get me leg over 😆 i know the feeling i have 3 E bikes the step through one is my fav, or me hips have a panic lol, great review 👍
Cheers mate
The 750W motor makes it illegal to use on UK roads unless it is type approved ie VIN, number plate, insurance, proper helmet etc. - no matter what the speed is limited to.
The limit for an EAPC is 250W
Looks a great bike and very sturdy, genuinely happy for you getting a little bit back from all your efforts and you deserve it.
Cheers Lee, yes I appreciate it mate.
I might be wrong but are you sure that's legal?
750W motor - ability to unlock above 15.5mph max speed (according to website) and throttle only option?
Seems more like a moped in which case it needs taxing / insurance and test etc? If that's the case, I wouldn't be endorsing this.
HE risks getting points on his licence to!
Looks well seasoned that does 😃👍🏼
Love it. You’ll be reviews lambo’s and Ferrari’s’ next.
Haha think they will send me one lol
@@BaldFoodieGuy I really hope so.
You shot off like grease weasel snot 😂

What are you going to do if you get a puncture? Best make sure you now how to take off the wheel and fix it.
Good point
Have fun Gareth, there has to be some perks to the job. Thanks for another entertaining video 💜💜💜
Yes you're right ✅️
nice to see something different Gareth,
Best of luck to you Gareth, nothing wrong with you getting that bike. You did the work for them to want to use your channel. Get out on that bike & let us know how you get on. It looks a cracking bike, hope you have good times on it. Go careful though & watch those roads…Don’t forget the food though…. 😂👍…
Cheers Mark yes will do. At least it gets me out doing abit.
@@BaldFoodieGuy Yes best to shift the pounds as we put them on. I was just reading about Razor Ruddick. He’s lost 9/10 stone apparently with having a gastric sleeve fitted… Not for me, put it on by eating too much, get it off by sweating too much…. 🤣👍..
'London Hustle' gets to try out E bikes so he could probably give you some good advice.
cheers for the tip thanks
Wow Gazzer, Christmas has come early, have fun with that. Word of warning, be careful, bike thieves love electric bikes.
Cheers will do
Have you got a name for it yet? I would go for Kitt...Brucey bonus if you know where that came from...Not too hard mind you being a child of the 70s. You just need some red leds for the handle bars.
A few decades ago you would have graduated from a trike to a two wheeler. Then the stabilisers came off and there was no stopping you. De-Javu in 2024, making your dad proud again 🙂
Yes he loves it. Cheers
No speeding tickets Gareth!! Keep a eye on the battery overheating, apparently on some cheaper bikes they have had problems.
Haha yes 15 mph
Hmm…selling out when the timing is right is still selling out! The Fiido Tit, said so on the box 😂
It’s a real beast what a brilliant bike thanks for a great review from N.Z.
No problem 👍
YAY Gaz got an E bike, they do go like a rocket m8, makes benny Hill stand still up hills lol Brilliant.
