Love the Impractical Jokers! Glad Joe and Burt mentioned them.
I think the therapist is right though, you need to want to stop drinking, not to stop for just a month to prove something.
Doing Sober October as well, feeling great. Was drinking whiskey almost every night for a while. Good to take a break.
Bert "I've always been very measured with my drinking" Kreischer hiding in airport bathroom stalls with his giant foam cup so he can pour in the 8 shots of liquor he's brought with him
hahaha, maybe he meant "measured" as in "now i'm going to the bathroom to take my *measured* 8 slugs of liquor medicine that was prescribed by Dr. burnt chrysler M.D, to help me function in difficult situations"... lol
It’s only 4 shots he needed the other 4 for the flight back he’s classy like that lol
Bert will go right back to drinking #drunkvember
BenderNovember
it is his calling
When he said that, I agreed with his therapist.
Well he drinks in his cooking videos so.....
7:21 Just watch the video
I watched this when it was new and rewatching it now post-October 2019. It's crazzzzy how much Bert has aged and so much weight gain
I agree!!!
I quit cigarettes with the patches, still smoke weed ocasionally, but I tell you what I’ve been off the patches for 3 years. I still have the wildest most realistic vivid dreams. I can wake up take a piss and go back to sleep and take back off in my dream from where I left off. Those patches altered something in my brain for years now.
I'm glad being sober is so easy for you both. Its not like that for all of us. Right now I'm 34 beers in 24 hours and not even buzzed. Pretty sure quitting will kill me
How are you doing now man? That's how I drink and in the years since you commented I've only gotten worse. Lots of excuses to just drink all day since then. Hopefully you figured something out. This is no way to live and it sucks terribly
U sober yet?
When our brains are healing, our dreams get intense and vivid. Coming off opiates I would always sleep for like 1-2 hrs and feel like I was dreaming for like 6-7 hrs. Would remember every pointless detail. Had to research it cuz I thought there was something wrong with me (aside from addiction 🤯)
That was a damn good Ari impression 😂
What year did the endless squeaking start?
he is definitely on some heavy duty benzos
They said something about anxiety meds in the beginning, if he’s taking benzos no wonder why he’s feeling great lol
First day of my sober October ever :)
Truely sad seeing the condition he is in now, 5 years later. Let alone the denial he now has...
The trick to not drinking daily is to find something that's more rewarding than drinking and leave the drinking to the weekends. good luck everyone
DMT elf Ireland agreed. Moderation is super important
Weed is the easiest drug to stop. You might miss it, but it's no big deal. I wish other drugs like pain killers were as easy as weed to stop.
Bert....beating your addiction for 2 weeks (or any amount of time) is great man. But you got to turn that into a lifestyle that sticks with you for the rest of your life.
Flashforward to the modern day, I don't think he wants to change yet
lol
Dude the last 5 years have hit burt hard he's all red and bloated now
I quit coming up on a year Oct 24th .. feel great sleep good.. also changed a lot of things thanks to guys like Joe Rogan Cam Hanes Tim Ferris Tony Robbins... I might end up making one of those motivation videos lol
"Well obviously, yeah" lmao
Get sober people! It’s wonderful! It’s like magic! I’m 3 years sober and life is better than ever. If you are struggling with booze or drugs please get help. Do it for yourself and those you care about. You are worth it. Life will be better
Bert looks so different four years ago
Bert looked and sounded a lot healthier here
