Tommy Chong is so fucking cool. The way he took a hit off the joint, the way he ate with chopsticks, his whole vibe is just very happy and thankful for his life. It's beautiful. Thank you for all the joyous laughter.

31:13 Tommy presents one of the MOST IMPORTANT Concepts of Life here. I'm a teacher, and I've used this advice to great success with children ages 3-16 many times. I tell them very plainly and clearly "You have a choice right now. I know it may not feel like it, but once you catch your breath, you can choose to be happy or sad. If you want to continue feeling like this all day, then go right ahead, that's your freedom. But if you'd like to not ruin the rest of your day, you can turn off the tears, and move on. Your choice." I've said this speech many many times.

I’ve loved these two since I was little with 70s show and spy kids but them getting their love in the modern comedy community should always be applauded. I love that these 2 live on and will be the face of stoner comedy forever
When I was in my teens my best buddy played an album for me and I was laughing in seconds and kept laughing all thru the album. It was Cheech and Chong and I became a huge fan that day. The next day he played an album from Frank Zappa. I think my friends big brother introduced these legends to him early in his life. Glad I was blessed to be exposed to these incredible comedians at a young age. It was like 1974 or 1975.
Cheech is hilarious. You can tell he really does cook a lot. He was watching and judging Bert the entire time. But he's also such a stoner those eggrolls could have tasted like anything and he would have loved them 😂
Bert! Just wow, just wow… The blessing and opportunity was a bit overwhelming and I saw it a bit, but you loosened up and fluidly asked Cheech and Chong some really good questions on tape! Man that would be such an honor. I truly believe Cheech and Chong are my two favorite comedians ever. I have never been to a comment section on anything they do and not ask for one more movie. One more movie one more movie one more movie!! Much love
My teenage years. The seventies. Graduated high school 75. Cheech and Chong were everything. Alice Cooper schools out was our anthem. Best time to be young. Don't pay attention to the movies.........tennis shoes, blue jeans and a wife beater was the wear.
Just wanted to say, you guys are the best! Manly because of your comedy ,especially when everyone is suppose be a sushi brain in life, that you guys held it together for us all, and really didn't have anything to do with drugs, just old time enjoyment, and glad to see everyone doing well! So keep on rocking! I am at the age of 65 in Michigan, born and raised.
This proves that good herb can make a wise man. What Chong said about controlling your thoughts is spot on! You got to stay in charge and I'm still working on it, but as I've gotten older and heard other wise voices I get it more and more. Thank you 100 Bert for your fire cooking show which good food is also about good company and how about Cheech & Chong?! Man what a trip!
Love it. At about 12:20 mark, Chong extends his hand to pass the joint clockwise (as per usual), he waits the perfect amount of time for Bert to grab it, Bert (who is totally justified to have a “Idol” moment) misses the hand-off and Chong passes the joint back to a savvy Cheech, who did not hesitate. Brilliant
One time when they came out with that Big Bamboo album, my friend and I used that huge rolling paper and rolled up an ounce of weed. We were around 13 yrs old. We smoked it with one of our friend who's birthday was on that day.
As a stoner of 18 years. This was one of the most captivating things I've ever stumbled upon. Thanks Cheech and Chong for paving the way for us weed lovers. Thanks Bert for bringing me this candid interview. Thank you all.
I’m 36. And my dad showed me up in smoke when I was 13. Cheech and Chong are my favorite comedians and their movies are the all time best. I was lucky to see them I think 9 years ago on their last show.
The funniest. Part for me in Up in smoke is when They got pulled over And Cheech is trippin for the very first time on Acid and He Starts singing to the cop......Keep on knocking but you can't come in! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dear Burt, poached eggs shouldnt take 8 minutes. Poaching an egg is far simpler, and cheaper than bagging them and using a circulator. Great interview man, so jealous that you got to smoke with Cheech and Chong. But, seriously, google poached eggs bro.
I grew up watching these guys in the 70s & my best parts of movies was when the cops speaks to them in the truck made of weed & the smoke gets him high & he says why did i stop you & takes the food cause he has the munchies & the Barber scene where Cheech gets the haircut to his 'hairpiece' soo awesome but there was soo much more.I'm glad to see they are still kickin & havin a smoke because so am i...i'm 65...love from QLD Australia
I remember as a kid, with my younger sister and brother, playing their 8 track in the basement. We would laugh our asses off listening to it, but especially the “Dave, who’s Dave?” bit. Great comedians and even greater guys!! Thank you for all of the laughs and memories!! Still making them with them!! ❤ By the way, food looked amazing on this interview, but would have added some cilantro and either diced fresh onion or pickled onion to top of the ramen. Much love to all!❤
I first heard them in Junior High in the 80s. A friend had a cassette of Get OutnOf My Room and we died laughing. Then I saw Up In Smoke and Nice Dreams on HBO and laughed even more.

Man that would be such an honor. I truly believe Cheech and Chong are my two favorite comedians ever. I have never been to a comment section on anything they do and not ask for one more movie. One more movie one more movie one more movie!! Much love
Kurt laughing at Cheech when he hasn’t said the punchline is peak Kurt
wtf bert u just peaked with these legendaries
@BasedGod-ey5ee Honorable mentions for sure. But lets be real. We can all burn happily ever after this episode :D
lets B-real :D :D :D
"I wasnt looking at his neck man" 😂😂😂 i still crack up from that
😂😂
That was the greatest interview. So chill. Just the dudes hanging. No pressure.
I have no idea how you got these two. I love them. So so so much
Haven't smoked in 20 years but maaan if I could smoke whit this G.O.A.Ts in a heartbeat it's a hell yes
What kept you from smoking? I'm not even being like an ass but if you can handle Chiefing some marijuana why don't you?
@@eternallife9786 health problems
@@Gurumregg that's rough
Brilliant
Oh this is a real treat, just amazing!🍃
0:04 hell yeah, me bro!!!
I got to smoke with chong at a signing at a weed store he rolled a giant joint like from the movies and damn I was so high
Best episode by far. Chong being 86 is incredible. Love to see it
My dream blunt rotation is Cheech and Chong, Snoop and Seth Rogan. LEGENDS of the stoner community
Bert is both too high and way to excited. To be fair, I would be the same way!
One time when they came out with that Big Bamboo album, my friend and I used that huge rolling paper and rolled up an ounce of weed. We were around 13 yrs old.
We smoked it with one of our friend who's birthday was on that day.
Wow what a great experience this is golden
As a stoner of 18 years. This was one of the most captivating things I've ever stumbled upon. Thanks Cheech and Chong for paving the way for us weed lovers. Thanks Bert for bringing me this candid interview. Thank you all.
I love watching high conversations they change so fast and change subjects a lot
"What?"
"Around the world?"
"The both of us?"
💰🍻
THIS NEEDS WAY MORE LIKES!! OMG
I noticed you got merch. Your missing the Somethings Burnining, no Hand Soap Despenser !
It's dispenses Tito's
@BasedGod-ey5eeew dude 😂😂
Damn good thing you pointed that out. 😂😂 I don’t think anyone actually gives a singular fuck……
I remember when the records of their live shows came out and they included a huge joint paper inside. Cheech and Chong are forever legends!
Dude, this is what I've been wanting to see for 20 years. Love it, man. Thanks for this - all 3 of you.
Bert you really are the sweetest for offering your crew.. humble man who remembers his roots.
Much love to all!❤
I just want to say thank you. But, you truly are a good man at heart and you are appreciated
I first heard them in Junior High in the 80s. A friend had a cassette of Get OutnOf My Room and we died laughing. Then I saw Up In Smoke and Nice Dreams on HBO and laughed even more.
I feel like I’m in a dream watching this. I grew up in the 1970’s watching the Cheech & Chong movies and listening to their albums. Great interview, Bert.
