Are these the best for side sleepers? I am one of those unfortunate people who can't sleep on his back at all. I wake up with insanely dry eyes and I tried Genteal ointment but even now over 24 hours since I last used it that first night, I still get some blur every now and then so my eyes definitely didn't appreciate it.

Hi Tony, Rebecca here, just wanted to add to this. I think for a workplace motorcycle goggles may cut off side vision too much, depending what you do, but you may need better sealing safety goggles? Can you ask the HR people for something more? Also using preservative free drops now and then and if the lenses get uncomfortable perhaps even taking them out and rinsing them partway through the day? Your eye doctor may have more strategies for you too.

I currently wear a silk sleep mask and I put it on before I put on my full face mask and head gear. It is slightly padded but not much. I also wear the padded liners on my headgear to prevent the straps from digging into my face. Even with those I have no issues wearing a sleep mask. I am researching these to see if it’s better than the silk sleep mask because it would be nice if they were smaller. Basic sleep masks are fairly wide across the eyes. I wear the DreamWear full face cushion mask.

@@jaeshasway I am wearing a memory foam mask full face mask and love the way it feels on my face. When I turn on my side it will allow small spurts of air enter my eye, causing even more dry eye. I tried sleep mask but nothing seals properly. Thanks for your help.

@@peggiemcmullen6565 Thanks, that’s good to know. Yeah, it doesn’t seal, per se, but no air blasts my eye lids. I ended up with raccoon eyes after starting cpap due to some weird reaction and light spots where the air blasted. Since using the silk mask the skin tone around my eyes is evening out, slowly but surely. A BT product is my eyes are definitely less dry when I wake up.

@@peggiemcmullen6565 What’s the name of your mask? I want to check it out. I only went with silk because I was afraid anything else might cause pressure lines around my eyes.

@@jaeshasway my mask is a ResMed airtouch f20. It is memory foam and does not leave a mark on my face.I have thyroid eye disease and my eyes get really dry, so any air flow really is bad for them. I'm looking for a solution.
