+Boosted Coyote How much power does it make? I am getting a 2.9l Whipple for my '16 Manual GT that makes about 650 to the wheels on 93 octane, and am wondering what kind of 1/4 I can get?
gmansplit at the time of the Video it was making around 670 RWHP and running 10.8s / 10.9s on a clean pass. Depending on your tire choice I would guess mid to lows 11s simply because it's a lot more difficult then people think with a stick car at the track. At around 720 - 740RWHP on E85 the car runs 10.4s / 10.5s
I have built motor Vortech V3 with fuel system and E85... 831rwhp at 10.5 psi of boost... Ordering up wheels and tires today! You've given me something to shoot for! Impressive for sure!
Which head unit is that? I'm planning on getting a D1SC stage 2 for my 2016. Still keep looking at the Whipple though. Tough decision. I'm strongly leaning towards the Procharger though. That was a hell of a pass. That thing squatted and hooked.
6-700 is usually 11-10s, add 100whp to lose 1s til you get to high 8’s around 1-1100whp@160~ from memory, then it takes a lot more, 23-2600whp gets you into the 6s range around 210?
This is my car - it's been 10.46 @135mph. Vortech V3 head unit on E85 with stock MT82 manual trans
Very nice man... Thanks for the info.. It's a blast just to watch it go down the track.
