Few cosmetic upgrades.
534 made in 2002, Only 136 made in manual. Mine is 1/136.
manual 6-speed Hurst short-throw shifter, a 3.42 axle ratio (or 3.23 ratio for automatic transmissions), P245/50ZR16 performance tires, power-steering cooling system, and unique NHRA badges and keychain designed by the Morgan Design Group.

What made me love the fact my first car was a trans am never got to get the LS but from the Lt1 and Lt4 then got a 455 big block and just recently went back to second gen camaro with a 415ci ls3 back in 2015 when i saw he ran the same setup i died laughing just that motor screams and i always get asked if im running an ls all the time. Great vid love the car

There are two ways to 2step ignition or fuel this one is ignition which is way more efficient the injectors dont turn off so youll never get a lean mixture and a by product is flames

In order to set it up for launch control, I'm guessing you could wire it similarly (+12v from any key-on circuit), but use a push button momentary switch, instead of a toggle switch and set it for whatever launch rpm you wanted?

Good afternoon, Kenny. I had my 2000 trans am tuned and the rev set in mind to 6 as well. I do have a set of MSD coils on mine, with their piggy back coil harness witch they recommend. To give the coils their own 12 volt source. Since the piggy back harness plugs up like that MSD 2 step. Can still run that rev box, and benefit from that rev box? Once again kenny. GREAT TRANS AM. I have the same color.

Hey Kenny, amazing content and car. What color is your bird? I have an 02 z28, and I really want to get a wrap or new paint after my deployment, and haven’t decided on a color. But I love yours. I have a similar maroon color on mine, but yours looks more metallic.
I’ve got one on my Silverado .. puts a lot of trucks to shame when all they got is factory rev limiter ..meanwhile mine is popping n spitting flames 🔥
@JAE's Finest dyno tuning is how mine was done after bolt ons n what not you can also roll the dice on those programmers I’ve heard good n bad buut a dyno tune costs about the same and the tune will be made 100 percent for your vehicle n it’s condition ..
@JAE's Finest so to make it worth the tune I’d get some nice headers a custom exhaust system an intake system of your choosing ..if you wanna stop there that’s more then ok 👌 your gunna have a check engine after that so a dyno tune is gunna be needed ..you go to a performance shop of your choosing do your research 🧐 walk up and tell him hey I got a Silverado with bolt ons then let em know what you have installed and tell him you would like to dyno tune it ..they’ll take over from there

Honda set there two-step way below the rev limiter. Not just a 1000 RPMs from limiter. Is that only because they can rev to 9500+?

I used the same switch on my Monte Carlo. Used it as a ground activation for the torque converter lockup and the thing lit without me having to run power. I was like 'ok, cool'.

I did everything possible to reduce wheel hop. Lower control arm relocation brackets, tubular lower control arms, Koni single adjustable shocks and Strano lowering springs, adjustable panhard bar. That’s the end result

Not sure if this has been answered yet, but is it possible to use the MSD to set up the artificial rev limiter on a switch (as shown in this video) and a button switch for traditional 2step to launch etc?
I think it has to be either or but not both

Well 18’s definitely have better tire selection, but 19’s look better. There’s ups and downs of both tbh. I run 18’s for cheaper tire selection on my own bird
Right way cheaper. I'm rocking 18x8.5 up front and out back 18x9.5 they look and perform amazing and got the rims with new tires for a I couldn't pass it up kinda deal.
