Not sure what you mean by lose it but I can definitely imagine how easy this guitar could grow legs and walk away, if you know what I mean. Got to watch your guitars. My brother loved his guitars. @@selfesteem3447 oh gosh that’s too bad he had his stolen 😰 but i just wanted to say that the joke of “how easy it would be to lose this guitar” is that it’s made of guitar picks, and they get lost all the time, and fall into the guitar and can be really hard to get it out. I was surprised a couple of times: first - the idea, then - handmade neck (I really expected the readymade one will be taken), but when he started to do pickups ...... No, words ...No doubt: Great job. All the best to you.
yes it is a great feeling, i have made many guitars and the great thing about making your own guitar is you can personalize to your liking for example, do you like the feel of a les paul but love the sound of a telecaster? if you make your own guitar you can do that.
Thats so cool,I love this. But just imagine one second how bad you would feel if you lose the pick and you can't find it when playing this guitar 🤣🤣. Awesome job anyways 👏👏
You could punch the middle out of a bunch of the picks, glue and stack them with whole picks at the top and bottom, and use them to make a chambered body that would refract light pretty cool depending on what type of transparent/luscent picks you used. You could also use the chambers to stash and diffuse LEDs or other lights.
What a magnificent work of art. Can't even begin to imagine the hours it took to create this incredible guitar from guitar picks and resin and all the work you put in creating the neck and headstock completely from scratch. The quality and workmanship are second to none. I can see you have an incredible talent for creating such wonderfully unique guitars. Well done! Thankyou for sharing.
The resin body full of picks is really cool, but the most impressive thing, to me, is that you make the neck and fretboard yourself, and make your own pickups. That's true craftsmanship!

Probably the only thing its going to be used for. With repeated use, the epoxy would begin to chip and crack. Can't see anyone spending that much time building a guitar only to have such a beautiful work of art begin to slowly fall apt with use.
Someone else already said this, but I think the idea of LEDs stashed inside a translucent/transparent guitar body made of resin would allow so much insane potential. You could make a "Galaxy Guitar" and swirl all kinds of purple, blue, and pink through the epoxy for the "nebulae", leave a black sheet at the bottom (back) of the guitar and then embed glitter and some white LEDs as the "stars"... That would be sick.
You may or may not be aware of the Rickenbacker "Light Show" guitar. Of course, LEDs were not a thing in the 1970s, when that guitar was made. Quite the collector's item, that model is, as they didn't sell very well when they were made (I seem to recall the price tag as being one of the issues). But one feature of the Light Show was that different lights would respond to different frequencies. But I seriously like your idea, too, in that it probably wouldn't be *that* difficult to make it as how you would have it, especially with the swirls. I would also put the lights in the back of the guitar, and cover the LEDs with a plate, in case maintenance is required. But I would also have them flash when playing, with some of the LEDs constant for the "cool" effect, when sitting on the stand. Battery-powered LEDs, just to keep the guitar on the safer side, as opposed to running 120V to the lights!
