Let's face it Blake, having your beautiful face and voice included in the video is as much the subject matter as the project itself and adds so much to the video's appeal, but I think you already know this and you are just toying with your audience.

At 4:00 it looks like a disgusting aquarium and then you start to work your magic and the ugly duckling turns into the beautiful swan. Fantastic piece. I like voiceover rather than music because I am always curious what the thought processes are and how you go about planning it.

I think a mix of the two styles would be the best approach. Personally I really enjoy the voiceover, but I know these types of "oddly satisfying" videos usually get pushed by the algorithm. There were a couple sections that I feel would've benefited from an explanation, like swapping out the beak around halfway in.
Maybe popping in every minute or two to add a tidbit of insight instead of a VO through the entire thing would be the best way to make RUclips happy, while satisfying people who want more detail like myself.
Either way, I'm extremely impressed by your work, so I'll be here for it.

    • @BMSculptures

I’ve watched 3 or 4 of your videos and I’ve enjoyed them all. I didn’t notice the lack of narrative on this video until you mentioned it.

Gorgeous! It looks like things I used to see as a kid. They would mold shapes and set new pennies in them, or little gold looking shavings. I'm not sure if it was real or not, but they'd be paperweights and stuff. The wood in yours looks gold.

That has got to be one of the single most gorgeous things I have EVER seen. Ever. Was it a commissioned piece? What did you charge for that piece? What did all the materials cost? What a wonderful artist/craftsman you are. I am amazed.

This is the first of your videos that I have watched. Just getting into these creative ones and I'm hooked. It would be nice to have some basic explanation when adding substances to the work or how you go about sanding and polishing and which products you use. But just a few brief words would be fine with me.

No lo hacen porque la mayoría solo son espectadores, los cuales no lo harán en sus casas y si da instrucciones muchos se aburrirán, aunque en lo personal también me gustaría que explicara alginas cosas.

I appreciate the explanations and voice over a lot more than music, but I really did enjoy this video as well. What was the product you used at the end prior to buffing the resin? Also, do you wood turn as well? The left over piece you cut could be turned and make nice pieces to go with the sculpture. That or sell your leftover chunks to some wood turners?
