    Hey Blockhead,
Thanks for the look into Saddlemen seats, awesome!
I am from Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia and I only ride solo and unfortunately it is not as easy as just removing the rear pegs to legally ride your bike as a solo seat.
Which means we are not permitted to use a two up seat when riding solo, unless you pay registration for 2 up which is twice as much per year compared to solo registration.
What I would like to see from Saddlemen is a solo seat that is like to their step up so as to provide good back support.
    I ride a 2006 Dyna Streetbob.
    Keep up the great work!
    Thanks Again
    Duncan😎🤟

    • @WinterzVoice
      @WinterzVoice 10 месяцев назад +2

Peace @@matthewcalhoon ! The class and final test went very well with a passing grade of 15
The most challenging parts for me, was getting up to speed in curves, getting use to the feel of gear shifting, U-turns, and quick stops. All things that’ll improve with practice, dedication, and really getting to know the bike you’re riding
I absolutely loved getting into that second gear for the first time with a clean clutch transition, and learning how to weave those feelings are UNMATCHED to this day, and I really need to stop farting around and get my damn bike !
(If you wish to have me expand on this or the challenges, let me know!)
Aside from pros and cons, the class TRUTHFULLY builds you from mounting, walking, riding, cruising and fundamentals I loved every moment of it. And thanks to both the MSF online course AND countless hours of studying Blockheads how to ride series, there was literally nothing to be afraid of. You may be nervous during the final test, but my instructor Lisa put it like this: “well, you may be in your head about failing and having to retake the class… but then, think about what will happen if you succeeded…?” And oddly enough, that’s all I needed to hear to treat the final test with the same energy and mindset as the day before…
Advise: Keep studying! It’s always nice to have that knowledge in your mind.
BE ON TIME or they’ll start without you and possibly excuse you from taking the class.(and if you are late, just be nice about it… luck may be in your favor)
Have the right gear! Be diligent and get your helmet size checked out as well. (I did mine in early April and my hands were freezing with improper riding gloves lol)
Be light on that throttle! It requires a lot less than you will assume at first
And most importantly: HAVE FUN AND BRING YOUR QUESTIONS! if you are enjoying yourself and invested in learning, the instructors will be just as committed to seeing your growth!
I hope this helps and give yourself and all who are venturing into this course the proper reassurance. Peace and Much Love to You and the Blockhead Fam! 🤙🏾

went through Canada's version of the MSF course and... it's super stressful man. Like, first time on a motorcycle *ever* and I need to learn and pass everything in like 12 hours worth of riding? It's a bit much lol. Ontario's evaluations are a bit easier since they tend to pick up only individual instances and they only combine a few movements or maneuvers (there are no combo maneuvers where you need to maneuver, stop, maneuver again and stop on a specific area) but it is more meticulous in it's approach to evaluating each of the drills... you can get 11 points maximum and everything is time, the tracks are all laid out with a cone every 1 meter and everything you do wrong is 1 or more points.. I passed with ease even though it sure as hell did not feel like it lol

Nope, crazy stuff. A guy in my class already owned a stretched Hayabusa (and he passed the class) so he could legally ride it after he finished this test.

I believe it should be the MSF default course and the same across most states 👍🏼

In New Zealand we do this course your doing its called basic handling then we can go and sit our learner lisence theory test( ride up to 650cc) then we can do a ride course and sit our restricted lisence practical test( still only allowed 650cc) then you have to wait 1 full year before sitting a full lisence ( practical test) then you can ride anything.
