Funny thing is, I lost a bit of confidence temporarily because of not riding, and this vid is re-familiarizing me with the sequence of events when starting up a bike. This time I’m going for an adventure bike, which has a totally different leg position. Thanks for this vid.

I know i have to take the official class but you will not learn it as good as this video. This is my very first comment in a you tube video btw. I guess is because of your experience as a instructor that makes us feel so freaking comfortable and interested in learning this; this is a great learning video especially for us that have no experience in bikes. Planning in a couple of weeks (GOD WILLING) getting myself a "soft tail deluxe", I sort of know how to ride a bike (kinda rusty) but man you have no idea how helpful you are. It belonged to a doctor who bought it just to have her sitting down in his garage, turned the engine on on sundays just to go around the block for three years, got her with only 267 miles... 😍😍😍😎 isn’t that cool?! Man I’m so excited!!

I’m so thankful to have RUclips at my fingertips! Thank you for explaining things so thoroughly and taking the process slow. Riding a bike can be pretty intimidating when someone like

Man, I read comments and thought of what idiots my friends and myself were back in mid 60's, (def pre computers), building minibikes with direct drive chainsaw motors - no brakes - just torque stop/go.
Smart ass me got a chance to take Uncle Mike's Honda 750 out onto San Diego streets learning all those cool tricks you are teaching everyone now.
I was underage, no license, no helmet, but respectful of powerful 4 cyl. - figured it out during teens.
Took my time, Mike was happy I offered to do errands on regular basis and I lived to progress into a licensed motorcyclist over the decades.
That said, I sure wish I had access to U tube and your excellent instructions

@@BlockheadMoto This was very informative, you did an excellent job. If you're interested I suggest you consider looking into making courses. There's a growing demand for A to Z instructions on specific topics. Providing an Olympic routine of how to practice & reach a certain level of accomplishment. Teach, how to drive a motor cycle & how to operate fire arms. I haven't ridden in a while & wanted to refresh my memory so I watched this video. I appreciated your tips as you were driving off & pointed out issues while you were stopped in traffic.
