That engine looks fantastic. Nice work.
Can't wait to fire it up.
Looks good! It's a real PITA when things don't line up right. I believe that opening you plugged under the rad hose is for the temp sensor hole. Need a chrome alternator bracket to set it off :)
We have never seen an intake that needed to be slid back before but this one did. It was a used intake so who knows. The temp sensor is on the head on the drivers side. Some more chrome and upgrades might happen down the road. Just trying to get this thing running.
Looks great your really making me want to get back working on my Nova
I think the Nova and the Camaro shared a lot of things.
They do I have a first generation nova or Chevy II and a lot of parts are interchange even some firebird parts will fit
The Firebird has a lot of the same parts and body.
Wow she’s beautiful I’ve been dying to see this car go since I started watching your vids always see it in the background nice to see her getting some attention
Getting close to firing her up.
lucky Dad :D Doing nice work Mossman
Dad has done a lot for me. Helping him get this dream done is the least I can do.
Looks good! Can't wait to hear it fire up!
Shouldn't be long now.
Awesome look!!!
Thanks
Could be a long water pump instead of a short water pump why the pulley isn’t lining up. It looks like a long one. Kind of hard to tell from the video but it sure looks like it.
It has a long water pump. All these parts were the same ones that came off the car so they should fit. I am guessing the alternator never did line up perfect. A couple washers and it's right on.
mossman381 awesome. Maybe the little spacer was missing on the alt. Keep up the videos. Great job. Love the farm videos. They helped me a lot I have a cranberry farm myself.
Yeah, the farming videos didn't get much for views so I stopped doing them. It's hard to put time into something and get no return from it. I enjoy doing the videos to a point. Then I just feel like I am wasting my time. The Camaro videos don't get the views but I am doing the car for my dad not RUclips.
What carburetor are you running?
750 Edelbrock, should have a video on that shortly.
