I’ve been watching your older videos of when you all were starting your homestead. Still haven’t figure out who this Britney person is :) You all purchased your property at the right time before things went crazy. We were a little late in getting ours. We purchased ours in 2021. It’s still so expensive. Our property is in North Idaho. Putting in our septic right now. Hopefully we can have the house site done next year. I think we are on a 10 year plan. Just a little at a time. Had our well drilled three years ago and had the power installed that same year. We are on the grid. Everything so far has been out of pocket and our land is paid off. Thanks for sharing. Great tips.

Sorry I fell asleep watching this video after working a 28 hour shift. This is the reason I am searching for property either Northern Idaho or NW Montana. It's always a great reminder to think about your basic needs. I've been told to plan on $50/foot to drill a well for water. $25k is a lot. This might limit the search to 1 hour drive from water.
Good video. I'd like to see more status on solar ups/downs with how the batteries perform after cloudy days. What % in the morning, when batteries get to 100% how much power produced since installation, etc
