- In this video I discuss why Jeep Wrangler's can seemingly cost so much here in 2022. I roll around in a 2022 4xe Rubicon, and explore some of the pros and cons of the Wrangler in general as well as the myriad of trim levels, powertrains, and options available. You can truly pick your flavor of Jeep today more than ever before... and that's not even beginning to think about the massive aftermarket!

That’s my spec 4XE but I have saddle interior which I love .. and I have the satin black grill
@@tonymanno2132 very clean! I've always felt the saddle works best with a black Wrangler. And the satin grille is a discreet addition as well!
@@Reoniz yea the way it was ordered was perfect for black .. I really didn’t want black just because it’s a lot of work but only one I could find in nyc / Long Island in 50 miles .. and only dealership that wasn’t marking them up 5 to 7 grand insanely
There was some dealers that had deposits on 4xEs not even being build yet .. it’s crazy car market right now .. dealer I went to said they can’t order anymore until summer and that the one touch top is on back order so can’t get it
And the Mopar rubber floor mats can’t get them lol it’s crazy supply shortages for rubber floor mats 🤔
I remember when a CJ-7 with a V-8 was $5000 brand new.

There's no reason for at least base model Wranglers to cost so much. You could get into a base 2 door for less than $24,000 just 5 years ago. Now you're going to be in the mid 30,000 range. That's nearly a 50% increase in just a few years.
high altitudes are even more because its like the Jeeps version of a G-Wagon with all the painted fenders
Yessir that's true, but you can actually option a Rubi up to more than a HA!! They just start at a higher price for the exact reason you mentioned
@@Reoniz i do like how everything is painted though i get a lot of attention on mines , only issues is that because i got the touch sky when i take the back panels off they tend to chip easy

I’m cross shopping between a ford bronco and a jeep wrangler Willy’s. I’d mainly use it as a daily since I doubt offroad. I’m not sure which to go with

Bought a used 2016 Jeep Jk and doing mods and will be way under $70k! Stupid to pay that money at the dealership when you can get used and build your own!
You can definitely run out of $$s before you run of options on these. However, it opens up some hobbies and lifestyles other vehicles dont offer. Or maybe dont offer to the degree that a Jeep does. The owner base, gatherings, off road, forums etc is something to consider. Get well! Take care of that hand.👍👍😎🇺🇸
Very true!! That's an excellent point. There's also a massive aftermarket that enables even further customization and capability to your rig 🤯

I’ve had 3 wranglers since 1997. The last one was a 2012 Sahara with all of the premium options. Not worth the money imo. I would take my old 97 4.0 sport any day over the new plastic crap.

I don't come from only Bimmers but they certainly represent the majority of my ownership prior to my 4xe... and I threw 35's on her of course 😅👍

This one actually not mine, I have a 21'!! But this owner ordered in early January and just took delivery this month... hopefully you get yours soon 🙏🏼

Mine was a dealer order .. they ordered it in December and I got it in March I waited about 5 weeks for it felt like forever lol when I bought it was in transit to NYC

The CarPlay drops constantly whether plugged in dash or center console. So bloody annoying! Wireless CarPlay is also glitchy. Any thoughts?
