The bar is like a instrument in his hands.
an*
This is an artform
I was thinking the exact same thing but I couldn’t put it into words
Thanks for your comment lol poop
@@medotheiinuo1887 really?Damn you should keep secrets.
Those movements he's doing with the barbell at the beginning really show how mobile and strong he is. He makes a 20kg barbell look like a 1kg PVC pipe
Eelie Elly Well when he's doing 200kg clean & jerk, that's pretty much how it feels, if that.
@@hrsmp eleiko bars and weights are literally designed to be thrown and flung around, while I’m sure I respect your point it just dosnt really matter to them
@@yom103ama3 well said
Who's here (again) after watching Lu squat jerk 207 at IWF 2019??? 🔥💪
The amount of mobility and power. Man I hope to be half this good one day!
Ey how it is going? Are you half as good yet?
shit no
Hey, how’s it going? Are as half as good yet?
I checked out your channel and it appears you’re ALMOST as half as good! Keep it up
Well is he half as good yet?
Jeezus. His back development is off the chart! It's like I was looking at an muscular system anatomy schematic.
Amazing no matter how much weight it looks like he’s just warming up the whole time. Damn fam
I have noticed that too
This man is such a fucking beast. Holy fucking ballbags
Such an aesthetic lifter. From the shoes to the body lol
Agree
This guy and the other chinese on the olympics made me want to learn oly lifts, too bad my gym doesn't have bumper plates nor a platform so I'd probably end up breaking something lol
most non weighlifters got into Olympic weighlifting, just casual gym goers got into it due to the look of chinese weighlifters, how they look, they can easily be mistaken as bodybuilders.
The best 77 kg in the history
When oly lifters are doing the whole movement you sometimes forget that there is an ATG front squat with like 400 lbs. They stand up from the bottom position so effortlessly.
More like ATG FS of 260kg.
@@nashorn7538 Good for you
400 what?
This guy squatted 305kg
@@nashorn7538 the OP was talking about the second half of the C&J, not Lu's actual max FS
These guys are awesome to watch. Always come back when I need a look at technique
Insane ankle dorsiflexion
Is it really that extreme? I just tested myself and without warming up, I could just the floor with my head leaning forward while both my heels were placed solidly on the floor. Just barely, but I could do it. From that perspective, Lu's flexibility doesn't seem extraordinary.
@@DirtyPoul that's not angle dorsiflexion but hamstring flexibility. Maximum ankle dorsiflexion is how much your knees can go forward while keeping your heels on the ground.
@@strepie93 My ankle can achieve an angle of about 45 degrees.
@@DirtyPoul That is pretty good, nothing extreme but above average I think.
Just good leverages
It is damn inspiring, i’m only starting out with 10kg/side. Been watching his videos since the start of tokyo olympics
How’s it going tho? It’s been a whole year
I am gaining more muscle from watching this video than my 2 hours session in the gym this morning
I keep on rewatching this video, beacause of how perfect Lu's movement patterns are.
I find quite a bit of joy watching these videos. Perfect execution and smoothness.
Its been 4 years and I am still stuck in here, this is amazing.
In another 20 years we'll be back here watching Lu train.
flexibility of peace, wow.
Watching Lu and Tian videos is one of my favorite hobbies.
Mine too...
I am a Chinese. I want to ask who is tian?
OH,tian tao
3:06 Can you lift 210kg ? XD
cant get enough of lu!
God dammit these two guys can clean basically whatever is on the bar
He looks so freaking solid when he squat jerk....
ironically, he bombed out 3 times in the C&J in the 2015 worlds (where this video was filmed)
@@xdavidliu he missed 3 C&J in 2015, but he bombed out only once
@@xdavidliu he did it on purpose so he could avoid being tested
Thanks for the upload. Hope to see more of them doing squats videos
Casually squat jerking my max squat weight. Then I realise he's not even at the heaviest set yet. One of my all time favourite athletes. There is an extra ingredient that goes into Chinese athletes, and it's mostly to do with rock solid work ethic.
Even the African guys in the back are like "this nigga play too much" lol
Crazy how his form never breaks. His body has been honed for this sport.
Something I’m always amazed at is how 100kg requires some effort from me, but to Lu (who is half my size) works with it like it’s my 60kg
DAMN I waited for this one! Thanks ATG!
i've watched this video for over ten times now...,squat jerk makes me so addicted
Can we just appreciate how casual yet perfect the 200 c/j was still to this day?
2:59 best part of the video. Love to see them smile and laugh :)
the guy in red shorts was saying: wtf or holy crap
@@omegalaw8042 he is Tian Tao who can clean&jerk 230 kg lol
goku DNA lurks within
Guy Pheonix Isn't Goku Japanese though?
Dragon ball is based on Journey to the West, a Chinese novel classic. Goku is basically based off the main character of the novel. They share the same name.
Goku is an alien
Real super saiyan
@@kenneth4096 lmaooo
I never really wanted to learn clean and jeck till I saw his lifts !!!
This is always inspiring to me...
why do i keep watching this?
Insane mobility and strength...
super effecient bar path on the cleans. ridiculously good
awesome footage
At first i was like whats that on the Back of Tian Tao but then i realized that is his back.
And the Villlagers think another Earthquake hits Town, no just Lu Xiaojun and Tian at training.
Using 10 kilo plates to warm up his shoulders. Sweet lol.
He is not warming up his shoulders. He is pretty much done with the workout. Why the fuck would he warm up then? He simply does lateral raises as a finisher for his shoulders.
@@iwantlee9510 chill, dude
Maharja Mawali I meant to say mong lmao my bad Mongolia’s a pretty cool place 😎 🥵 👌🏻
@@puppy8125 haha, got a good laugh from that. Thanks!
@@puppy8125 Mong is short for mongoloid...
I like how they be laughing and joking around while that bar is LOADED lol.
I'm back for the 10th time this week
The ankle flexibility is just insane.
Толчек зачетный ваще :) надо будет попробывать такую технику
La intro es jodidamente épico!
i find this video very relaxing
Lu toooop !!!
Superb. I hope he wins gold in Rio!At the start of the video, he just showed the whole world that it is safe for the knees to exceed the toes during a squat, as long as you load the weight on the right muscles!
If your built like him. everyone's physiology is different; what works for him doesn't prove that it's safe for others.
+Maurice Long you have a point.
+Maurice Long Lu Xiaojun has short femurs, so if even his knees extend beyond his toes, you know it is an absolute necessity for this to occur in lifters with longer femurs. I don't know where this misinformation about 'don't let your knees go beyond your toes' came from or why it is so pervasive among people in fitness.
danehb89 I'm not going to argue if it's about going over the knees, but just because something's necessary doesn't mean that it's good body mechanics. My point was that movements that work for one athlete might not necessarily translate to success for others.
He is a gold medalist lol king of his class
After whatching his training videos, I am not confused anymore at the different technical details from different people and videos. I just try my best to copy what he does
*Chinese are crazy, no yelling no belt, just get the job done. god damn!*
Shi Zhiyong does yell though
@@haithamabid AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, EEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHH
Looool, shi zhiyong is canadian then
The belt doesn't help much
Great video! I have a question, is there going to be a Tian Tao video session?
So satisfying
1:18 that click when he cleaned the 60 kg was so satisfying
I love the plates.
A piece of art🖌️🎨
It’s damn hard work!
Technical masterpiece
amazing
The technique is amazing
Crazy how far the human body can go.
Terrific form.
1:18 his clean is clean af. after replay that like 1000 times I feel like I know how to clean right now LOL
This is art
ААААааа!!! УРА!!!! Наконец-то!! :))
Here for the One Million views
Very good
Fantastico
His body is fucking designed to be a weightlifter. Short femur. Long torso.
Jay Jeong lu's a beast eh.
These higher snatchgrip deadlifts head me❤
2:54
That was beautiful... Thanks
Smooth AF
Lu and Tian always train together
Always
류샤오준 멋잇어요!!!
4:27 anybody know what that red shirt is and where i can find it?
0:48 his butt can literally touch his heels. Amazing mobility
If I did that my knees would explode
The Chinese are one of the best lifters in the sport. Especially at the olympic level. Which is amazing in that lifting isn't a popular sport culturally. Most Chinese are not about muscle and building up size. Y:et China produces some of the best (some might say "the best" and cleanest lifters in the world). Any time some joker pokes fun at Chinese guys (who don't lift) should watch videos like this. :) Chinese (China) do things so well. At the world level. Gymnastics. Olympic lifting. Fencing...etc.
it is true that most Chinese dont lift. the recent data shows that only 0.79% of us go to gym, but 0.79% in China means 11 million people...
When you have 1 billion plus, there bound to be outliers
Olympic weightlifting is one of the sport where china produce the best athletes so I don't think that you can say that it's not popular
@@khoabuivan4458 Most people in China like running and street fitness. Young people like badminton basketball and table tennis, but now they are going to the gym more and more.
1:44 why did the camera man think that was a good angle xD?
pretending to workout in the gym so you can creep on someone else?
Lu: I better not catch you filming me again
Cameraman: |_| 🤳 |_|
Where can I find the red antas that Lu wears in the beginning?
this man does not sweat
두발모두 제자리에서 저크를 하다니
정말 대단하네요
Does anybody know if olympic lifters targets their pecs directly? Because this guy has amazing pecs, but i can't really see any of these lifts that really target the pecs?
They bench press also.. but not this close to competition.
THERE ARE TRAINING VIDS AROUND SHOWING THOSE GUYS DO PUSH-UPS AND DIPS WEIGHED WITH PLATES
Lu Squat jerks 190kgs while giggling. That is strength!
3:00 teammates even joke around while the man is trying to squat 200kg lol.
This is literally, crack.
La réaction d'abord incrédule puis souriante de son compagnon d'entraînement est géniale... C'est vraiment impressionnant . Chapeau !
Holy shit that ankle flexibility
The real Super Saiyan GOD, there is no doubt
that fucking ankle mobility
he made those 10kg plates looked like 10lbs when he's doing the lateral raises
Cool🥰
Lasha 250kg CJ@ 170kg bodyweight. Xiaojun 200kg CJ @ 77kg bodyweight....Lasha is a legend, xiaojun is demigod...
Lasha >>lu
@@Tom-vu1wr Not true at all, pound for pound Lu is stronger
@@thechosenone93 lol so what. Lu is no where near the goat of his weightclass strengthwise whereas lasha is far stronger than any weightlifter ever
@@Tom-vu1wr Not a fair comparison when Lasha has been in the same weight class for some time now whereas Lu has been in three (77kg,81kg and now 73kg) since they started wringing major competitions.
Plus remember I said “Lu is stronger pound for pound”. This means that although Lasha is stronger OVERALL, Lu is stronger pound for pound because :
a. They can both squat 250kg. But Lu is stronger pound for pound because he has required less body weight to squat the same weight as a much heavier man
b. Lu has back squatted 270kg which is almost 4x bodyweight, the most I have ever see Lasha back squat was about 300lg-310lg which is nowhere near 4xbidyweight for Lasha
Furthermore:
c. How is Lu Xiaojun not the GOAT of his weight class when he was the only one playing (in his weight class) with a 200kg C+J in TRAINING prior to his year off,is a 3x Olympic world champion, and his team mate Tian Tao who is extremely gifted himself, still has never snatched higher than Lu,at the same time being in a higher weight class? Even people from other countries one weight class heavier than Lu couldn’t’ snatch his 177kg WR?
You’re probably the type of guy who loves the big guys for some reason.
@@Tom-vu1wr what planet have you been living on mate??? Easy contender for the goat in weightlifting. Not only that, he is the one responsible for generating more interest in the sport than any other lifter IMHO.
Whether you think Lasha better than him or not is of course part of the debate, but Lu not in the goat debate? You gotta be joking 🤣🤣🤣
Poetry in motion
pure art👏
como se llama la música que usan en los vídeos?
Yacsuri Salazar conseguiste el nombre de la canción ?
This is the first time i see these athletes laugh during training.
All about mobility
