Thank you for a lovely tutorial, I do envy your lashes❤❤ Day 1: I done a bad job of finding a good mirror to angle up under my face. I ended up tilting my head back at a wall mirror and struggling. Reaching the root was difficult sooo, the application was a bit poop. Admitedly they looked longer but they were pretty straight. And I disliked my outer lashes. They stuck up at a funny angle.

Very helpful video, thank you! How does one remove the mascara thoroughly after? I find that when I use just 2 coats of mascara, I still have residue left over after washing them with makeup-removing micellar water from Neutrogena. Especially underneath the lashes at the roots, where it’s harder to get soapy products close without entering my eyes. Any help is appreciated!
With Sky High, a tubing mascara- I found the only easy way to remove it was with a basic unscented Dove bar. Best first step cleanser for difficult to remove (but non-waterproof) mascara. Also great at removing L'Oreal Infallible transfer-resistant powder foundation.
Use a cleansing oil. Not straight up or coconut oil, actual skincare cleansing oils. They are amazing at melting off makeup and they aren't hard to wash off because they turn into a milky consistency when mixed with water.
I need tips on how to stop mascara getting over my eyelids. Even just applying to the upper lashes it ends up under my eyes. I use tubing mascara, which is amazing once it dries, but I have so much trouble with smudging until then.
Maascaara! I ❤️how you say mascara. Vinlikethe idea of using 2 mascaras. If the second mascara , was burgundy , blue 🔵 or 🟣 that would be fun to do a possible demo. Thank you. You have lovely lashes!!!
it looks pretty, but i personally don't like to put mascara so much in the roots due to the fear the mascara makes them wicker and they fall off bc of it

I’ve always loved doing 2 mascaras: 1 with a more plastic applicator and one with actual bristles just like in this video. My go-to combo back in like 2015-2018 was always Maybelline Rocket Lash + Maybelline Falsies. However! I can’t use those anymore because they smudge wayy too much since I’ve started wearing sunscreen daily (I didn’t do that back when I predominately used that combo). I have discovered Maybelline Lash Sensational and Sky High are both more of a tubing formula so they don’t really smudge at all with my sunscreen and I really like them on their own… BUT I would love to incorporate a second mascara with a bristle applicator to get that fuller, false lash look. I just don’t know of one that won’t smudge terribly due to my sunscreen 😢 (and yes, I apply powder, but my skin is also naturally oily so once that starts coming thru, I end up with with all kinds of dots under my eyes) So… can anyone tell me if this Rimmel mascara she uses in this video smudges?? Or if anyone knows of any mascara with that type of applicator that doesn’t smudge? (Not waterproof - waterproof still smudges due to oils) Basically, is there a tubing mascara with a more traditional applicator?
Just tried it and i have very straight thin short lashes. I had to use a curling iron but it really worked!!! I used covergirl lash blast cleantopia and the og covergirl lash blast clean waterproof. It really worked!!!
I always buy drugstore mascaras. I've never really ever had a great experience with expensive mascaras! They've always made my lashes heavy and not curl. Except for two-faced curling mascara I forget the name of it but it's probably the only mascara I'll purchase that isn't drugstore.
All you have to do is roll it out in motion, allowing the sides of the tube to catch excess; at the beginning of the base opening, as your pulling the wand upward, out of the tube. It's really a simple thing. I don't know why no one realizes this yet. You don't have to keep scraping it to remove excess. The way that she rolled the Rimmel back into the tube, do that while you're about to pull it up and out. No scraping or tissues needed. I promise.
You're really good at cosmetics! Also your complexion looks autumn af, and the reason why you pull off colors from other seasons well might be that your features don't really seem to hit too close to the extremes of any parameters. I learned that from Style Me Jenn as someone with similar tones, which has been helping.
You can also apply your mascara with your eyes almost closed and achieve better results. I learn something new every time I watch a different video. There are a lot of techniques and an infinite amount of mascaras to try out. We and they are not created equal in this department 😂but we all matter 🖤

The Sky high.. sure it looks great but within an hour or so it flakes into my eyes and causes a horrible allergic reaction. I will still try your tips regardless with a different product obviously lol.. just thought it was worth commenting.
It's not supposed to flake at all. But I'm sorry you had an allergic reaction. I had a bad experience with Telescopic once. Felt like giant rocks were grinding against my eyeballs when I cried while wearing it. So far, the only one safe from L'Oreal for me is Lash Paradise. Check out the ingredients. Do you suppose it could have been the myristic acid? Idk, contact the Maybelline company. They are owned by L'Oreal, and they should be willing to compensate you.
@@OpalMoonstone247 Yeah I wouldn't think so lol Thank you :) I thought maybe it went bad somehow? or maybe it was a chemical reaction with setting spray.. not willing to try again. That sounds like an awful experience! I have never learned much about ingredients. I really should! I think it may have been too long ago now and I don't even have the product to send them. I could at least send an email and see where it goes. Thanks for your comment.

Ahhh I learned so much just found your channel! Thank you! I’ve got nice lashes but the tips are blonde and you can’t see them 😂
Girl we have the same eye shape and this was AMAZING! I could never get to my outer lash roots and this was so simple and easy ty ty ty 🫶😭
What I love this side of Instagram she's a gem in makeup ❤
Girl can you post an eyelash routine? If you do anything for them. I subscribed after the eyelash curler video and your eyelashes are so thick and long.
