I agreed with you. I actually very impressed with your defender camel trophy and decided to build defender D110 using xtra speed from rcmart and D90 using team raffee from asiatees.
I seem to remember watching a programme about the Expedition Landrovers traversing a Jungle. I seem to remembering those Ladders on the back were used for crossing gaps in the terrain, streams and small ravines etc. One vehicle would carry one, another vehicle would carry another ladder and they could be extended and would take the weight of expedition Landrovers fully loaded. I could be wrong about that as it was either late 70s early 80s but it seems to ring a bell in my memory?Edit, the ladders look similar but not the same, check out the The Darien Gap 1972 Trans Americas Expedition video although they were Range Rovers
Awesome detailed camel trophy truck 👀👌 Great video RC Girl. I also think front light should be always on and I wish it has hood and door opening. All in all it is super scaled I give it 9/10 rate 👌😊 And this video is 10/10 🤘😎 Peace
I love the look of this D1RC Camel Trophy. Just watching it sway because of how top heavy it is makes me hold my breath and hope it doesn't roll over. I love this review.
Muy buenos dias Srra como estas , excelente vehiculo muy realista,me encanta . Gracias por Tú tiempo mostrandonos esta joya , saludos y exitos en todo . Dios nos bendiga siempre. NO A LA GUERRA
Nice to have you back love , great video and what a great looking landy I really do like it being a bit of a landy fan I think this is going on my shopping list , keep your videos coming I do enjoy them , stay safe love ...
Woohhhooo RC Girl is back!!!! Great to see you again. This is a cool looking rig, but dang you were right sticker shock for sure. The Jeep Rubicon BFG version mof the MTs look good on this rig. 👍👍👍
Finally! Thank you for showing who made the damn thing! I have seen a ton of trail video of these and none of the idiots mention who made this rig. Outstanding!
As others have said, great to see you back ....cute as ever. Exceptional rig, but I agree about the lights needing more control. I'm thinking that's a rooftop pop-up tent with ladder access. Thanks for the video, stay safe.
@@MikeRCWorld Moim zdaniem bzdety. Już miałem tak kilka razy. Nigdy nie opowiadałem. Niektórzy usuwają ale tutaj widzę, że jeszcze nikt porządku nie zrobił 🙂
the price is actually a deal with or without electronics~which are THE BEST I've ever seen come with an RTR. I will be getting this asap. the D110 version is the one I want
This looks like a very cool rig. While the price at the surface seems up there, if you were to price out all those accessories, you'd be right up there rather quick if not most likely over that price. Then add in the weathering details and you've got a good deal on a great out of the box scale rig.
Cool rigs..they used those ladders for cutting tree limbs, the ladder is basically the hight of the rig and if a limb was blocking the trail the could do some tree trimming...lol...great review!!👍👍
@@mattluszczak8095 sorry bro that's not a bridge, it's clearly a A frame ladder. Bridging ladder have a X style brace not rungs...take a little closer look at it!!👍
Hi. Back in the day, I was in the British Army and I learned to drive in a D90. I also got to "tour" with it in places like The Gambia in Africa, frozen Norway and such. It's a beast and I actually got very attached to it. This scale model is bang on, though mine obviously wasn't a Camel Trophy. Really interested in getting a Defender and making it more "GB military" custom. Was just about to order the TRAXX, but now I'm confused! If anyone had any suggestions?? Great video, thanks!
Haha yeah making vids was a lot on top of my full time job and I got overwhelmed by how far behind I was on reviews. Nice to take a break but good to be back. 🤘🏻
What a beautiful rig I like that, oh that ladder that’s for when you’re out in the woods On the trails and you run across a apple tree or any fruit tree and you can’t reach the apples they are up a little higher, well sounds good to me reasoning for the Ladder
This rig is wonderful and you did an amazing job on your overview👍🏻! I know you pre warned us about the price but, when I went to the link, I almost choked on my own tongue 👅! I was thinking $450-$500 tops! That’s ok. I’ll feel better knowing someone else who can justify this price will have fun playing with it. It is a fine rig but, IMO it’s hard to swallow the price. A really cool thing about this is the 2 in one esc/brushless motor. This is the the wave of the future I think! Excellent job!
Good to see you back. I’m in the process of building a D90. Now you’re telling me that I could just buy a fully built one? Oh, the horror. 🤦♂️. Great video RC girl. Thanks.
What an amazing looking rig. Ive never been a fan of the indicators on rc cars. If they could be set to only come on at full steering lock, it would be much better imo.
🦋💯👁👁👌 Great Scaled Car. But it is interesting that for the almost identical price the D1 RC Def. 110 has/had everything features. Doors, rear, engine hood to open🤔. Thanks for your Informationen and Opinion🥳🙋🏽♂️ i wish a nice week
It's 550 size 540 motor inside .. awesome truck worth every penny.. funny it comes with a leaf spring when these are multi link factory rigs and it has DANA styled axles and these have a YOTA type third member style factory. Very curious about tech specs like what shocks, trans gears, can put OD?? Dig the spiral gears and axles look killer! Wish we knew MORE!!!!
The 1st products I saw from D1RC were some wheels which were reviewed by @RC Sparks a few years ago. This is comparable to the Camel trophy rigs from Boom Racing RC. IMHO it has a couple of misses. I'm pretty sure the Defender has 5 lug wheels , and the bodies (1:1) are aluminum, so they don't rust. As long as the weathering looks like dirt/road grime it's all good and it's easy to change the wheels. The rubber center caps are a great solution to hide the wheel nuts! It's a little disappointing the doors and hood don't open, but I guess they had to draw the line on details somewhere to keep the price reasonable. The scale ladder is a cool accessory for a work truck, but a bit strange for this model. It could always be used on a different rig though.
Based on your video I purchased and recently received my D90. So cool!! How do you switch between high and low gearing/speed with the Noble NB4+ radio?!?!? Please help!
Did some research on the prices & the seem to be all over the place. Lowest I saw was around 680$ all the way up to over 800$. For the low price that would be worth it. It’s just an amazing RC. I’d love to see or hear about carbon railed chassis. The kits I see come all metal everything & included wheels. Also if you ever get a chance get the MST truck build kit & review it. I’ve had my eye on it & it’s on sale.
RC4WD really have their work cut out here! This model has a great scale "sit" that many of the RC4WD ones don't have - even on their own website. I don't like how the head lights come on as you move forward (and the driving light indicators are wrong too) - so many RC light kits have all these silly functions, why can't they make them like a real car - its only a 3 position switch: off, driving lights, head lights!
I'm just building a custom d90 and it isn't going to be that expensive yet still have better hop up parts 😬 I guess this is more towards people who want a crawler ready to run out the box
Nice review. Saw this posted on an IG review of your new wall rack. Added me as a sub there and here. Price is pretty fair for what you're getting. Curious if the trans servo comes with the roller version?
If enjoy RC car scale, should have at least one camel trophy
I started the hobby in 2020 with a Tamiya Defender 90 painted like a Camel Trophy
I agreed with you. I actually very impressed with your defender camel trophy and decided to build defender D110 using xtra speed from rcmart and D90 using team raffee from asiatees.
I agree would really love to have a camel trophy in my collection
That shot at 17.50 captured all the essence of the adventure, and looked just like the real deal Camel Trophy footage!
The Camel Trofy edition is one of the most legendary version of the Defender..it looks great!
Awesome RC and great review 👍👍👍😊

Just watching first 3 seconds i feel like deep in a jungle. 18:50 really good!
You weren’t kidding about that sticker shock! Awesome rig, great review!

Holy cow, talk about detail, very cool rig there! Great to see you back on the trail!!!
You're a camel defender with great details. Thanks to your review, the d1rc defender's curiosity was solved. That's a great video.

Great to see you again! This CAMEL rig is a beauty, so scale. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this.
Very cool truck. Glad your back, but everyone needs a break. 😁
It drives very smooth. It looks super scale while driving.
The stickers I've ordered just arrived to Ireland, RC Girl you've made my day. :-)
Yay!!
Good to see you back RC girl, wow that’s a beautiful rig, appreciate you sharing now this is the beauty of this hobby yeah love it
Wow that is super cool on a hinge, wow the chassis and drivetrain looks awesome
Damn that thing is incredible! But they sure did brain fart on the position of the on/off switch 🤣
Thanks for sharing the great RC Defender and video 😄
No wedding ring??? That's what I find most amazing about this vid!!! 😍😘🇬🇧
Great review! It's not super cheap but things add up super quick when you're starting from a kit
As others have said, great to see you back ....cute as ever.

Looks absolutely fantastic.... some incredible camera angles..👍🇬🇧😎
Thats one nicely detailed and great looking trail truck, seems to run smooth too.
Who doesn't love a Land Rover? Cool.
I'm in love - what a beautiful truck (sorry - thought it was your original)
Wow i think i will grab this next summer instead of an rc4wd rig, nice presentation !
What an amazing looking rig! I hope you'll be doing some dedicated run videos with it!
Welcome back Haley nice rig
Great video Haley! Such an amazing rig! So jealous!!
nice video for a great vehicle. Oh nice to see you again
RC queen of crawlers.
Nice review and nice rig, I want one now!!👍👍👍👍
Wow a real winch as well, great scale details. 👍🏻
The fact that the body does not shake means that the suspension setting is good! The camel trophy was great!
Glad you're back . . .
Amazing 🤩 nice rig 🛻 great job 👏💪👍
Really nice truck 💪 So many detalis and looks very realistic. Nice review 🍿📺👍

Or you could scratch build the accessories….that’s definitely part of the attraction for me personally on all these ‘scale’ rc models.
Very cool - thanks for sharing 👍😊😊
Oh and another very detailed video with tons of information thank u !
I'm into crawlers of any kind. This is on my list.
Nice truck. I'd be relocating that on/ off switch though. Messes with ground clearance by the looks of it.
Excellent vid.
Looks great, awesome in depth review 👍🏼

Good review. Thank you 🙂👍🏼
your videos are the best, I always follow your work, I love the Camel Trophy I have a collection of them in 1:10.
Thank you!!

I got the version without the remote, thank you for showing how to wire it up. I was sort of confused by the 4 wires and only 3 of them are numbered.

Very nice indeed but at a cost. The item on the wing top should actually be a pickaxe head 😀

I was just wondering what you thought of the YK 4082 jeep?
Did you try to use the hobbywing fusion programming card?
Yeah I did - for some reason it doesn't work with it. I think this motor/esc is a paired down version of the fusion.
Very realistic but looks real top heavy
Yeah it's pretty top heavy.
What RC car, that's a real car
