- No joke, this gun has been one of my favorites to review. I was a skeptic going into it but the roller delayed action combined with 10mm makes for a near perfect PCC. Its rare for me to STRONGLY encourage something, but this piece made the cut.

Seems like Micah and Garand Thumb are part of a conpiracy by big 10mm. Within a couple days they release 10mm-centric videos! Actually I'm happy they are spreading awareness, which will increase demand, in turn driving innovation, creating more 10mm options for all us 10mm bois out here.

As we saw on Mikes channel recently, full power 10mm is incredible. Now you have 20 of the things in a really nice, easy to control package. Quick aside, the MP5/10 is a thing, quite rare, also a member of straight gang
Straight gang requires flared mag wells, apparently. Just saying. Curved gang can insert fine with narrow mag wells.

Bullshit. It won't even punch soft armor lol, it definitely don't want anything to do with rifle rated plates. Besides, almost all 10mm sold is just 40S&W in longer brass and at a higher price.

The Stribog is really underrated. Since I got curved mags, 0 issues. A3 is super smooth. Their flat trigger is SO good from factory. Great gun!
Stribog was my first PCC, after range day in steel target range, i was hooked. I bought an MPX after, and despite being better in almost every way, the stribog still gets more love at the range. Its also less pick on ammo and more accurate.

I’d like to see a 45 Super version.
10mm really shines in between SMG and carbine ranges. Something in the middle = GOAT
300blk does too, 220gr subs are basically .45acp with better ballistic coefficient, and supersonic 125gr gives you similar ballistics to 7.62x39 except out of an 8-10” barrel

@@sabiti5428yeah but it accomplishes the same thing in a similar form factor but with a locked breech. Early short barreled AR15’s were even called SMG’s back in the day. Yeah it doesn’t technically fit the description but it does everything a 10mm SMG does just better. Only real difference is the mags are a little longer because of the cartridge length
So does the 350 Legend just with a bigger wound channel. The 265 grain subs have about 100 ftlbs more muzzle energy than .357, and 200ftlbs more than 220 grain 300blk. Still flying under the radar because it's not tacti-cool.

I've been a 10mm fan since the late 80's with the Colt Delta Elite which I finally bought in the early 90's. 10mm fell out of favor to the 40SW when the FBI said they weren't man enough to handle the recoil, but has made a nice resurgence in the last few years. I have always loved 10mm, and have collected several pistols over the past few decades. I've yet to add a 10mm PCC to the fleet, but this may just push me over the edge.

My first 10mm was a GrandPower P40. I still carry her today with Red Hill Tac holster. They have AMAZING triggers.

Soft shooting too. The rotating barrel mechanism eats a good chunk of the recoil.
I’ve always thought 10mm would be perfect as a PCC for the stopping power. And the RDBB system takes care of the extra recoil!
It’s what I use for the house. Both g40 and banshee. I like it a lot.

Stribog has folding stock, banshee doesn’t, but banshee takes Glock mags so,🤷♂️

If you get 100 grn underwood ammo it will go through vests, just fyi. You'll get 2,000 fps. So yeah, it will tear up.
It needs to be noted that it is not really roller delayed like the traditional ones. The Stribog is only quasi roller locked…..but you can get different angle locks to make it tighter. Typically they are changed out to run subs and a can. I don’t know if they have that for the 10mm yet…..but I have three versions of “delay” for my 9mm. That also might make your 10mm quieter as it will hold the bolt closed longer so not as much gas comes out the ejection port
CMMG perfect the true roller delay and patented it. I have the Banshee in 9mm and the offer the Banshee in 10mm too.
@@The_Painter31cmmg is not roller bit radial delayed. Roller uses rollers/almost wings. While radial basically uses chamfered ar15 bolt locking lugs

Traditional roller delay also doesn't lock. It's weapons like the Gerat prototype and the MG42 which use roller lock.
I've been a 10mm is best MM guy for over 20 years. My first handgun (still own it) was a Colt Delta Elite that I bought second-hand. I started handloading 10mm shortly after that, because 10mm Auto was insanely expensive, and I couldn't find a drop-in .40Short & Weak barrel to feed cheap ammo into. That gun was my go-to for IDPA, 3-Gun and all kinds of all-around fun for years. If I could legally carry in Canada, that 1911 or a P320 in 10mm would be my choice over anything in 9mm.
Nice review, I'll be looking into one of these. I have a B&T APC10 that is awesome. 10mm is the perfect round for a PCC/PDW.

Optics planet loves you so much they usually take for freaking ever to get you your stuff sometimes if you even get it.
I love 10mm. My favorite thing about 10mm is that the longer your barrel, up to about 16", the spicier that round becomes. I've got some hot rounds that gain around 200fps going from 5" pistol to 16"carbine.
That applies to all pistol rounds honestly. 9mm and 45 gain quite a bit of fps per inch of barrel as well

Very cool gun. It's tempting.
10mm is a really interesting caliber. It's pretty beastly when loaded properly. The problem is that most off the shelf 10mm is loaded to roughly .40 S&W (10mm short) specs. Properly loaded 10mm has ballistics close to on par with mainstream .357 magnum, but with a heavier bullet.
Hot-loaded .40 S&W is better than most off the shelf 10mm ammo. Underwood sells a 155 grain .40 S&W with a muzzle velocity of 1300 FPS. 580 lb/ft of energy there. That's getting into the lower end of .357 magnum. Even a 165 grain .40 S&W Speer Gold Dot LE @ 1150 FPS has 484 lb/ft of energy. That's on par with or hotter than most 10mm on the market.
The lesson is that if you want "real" 10mm ammo which makes the caliber worth it, you'll have to pay attention to the specs and pay the higher prices. 10mm must be pretty appealing for reloaders.
Uh, properly loaded, they’re much closer to 44 mag than .357 magnum.
10mm from what i have heard is so fucking powerful it can take a bear down. the only problem as you said is that companies dont go full 10mm, the loads are up to 40S&W which is insane, GT covered that in his 10mm
@@treyspurge 10mm doesn't come close to .44 magnum ballistics. It doesn't matter how you load it. Even a properly loaded .357 magnum is hotter than the hottest 10mm.
Just stick with Underwood. They'll keep you out of 10mm Short territory. Loads with 700+ lb/ft energy are easy to find. Put that in a long barrel and you're well over 800 lb/ft. Very comparable to full power 357 mag.
Why Hk hasn't updated the Mp5 still baffles me. The incentive is most definitely there. Better trigger, safety, Mlok, feed ramp... the list just goes on and on.
The font on it is clearly inspired by some Early Cyrillic or Church Slavonic script. But a latinized version of it. So it's based on a more than 1000 year old script.
If you know the history behind it, and know what it looks like in context, the writing is pretty cool.

My buddy has a stribog and sp5. The sp5 is still smoother and the stribog has a better trigger by far. He said the roller delay in the sp5 is beefyer than the stribog. Both great and fun guns.
We all need more Charlie in every gun video, from everyone.

ive been a fan since I was a kid. my grandfather use to hunt with a 10mm pistol. i introduced to me into the cult of 10mm which explains why I only own one 45 and multiple 10mm's.
Ive been saying this for a long ass time now, and we will finally see the 10mm become the PCC king. These things chambered in a 45 or 10mm just makes sense, and its cool.
ive never used a Stribog but i do have a CMMG mk10 and i love it . Its a great option for a PCC especially if you reload, being able to run a lighter round super or a heavier round sub. Runs great paired with a banish 45.
btw SGM tactical makes a 30 rnd glock mag 10mm
Do you have any issues with case bulging? Heard some of the 10mm Banshees have that issue.
@@scotts148 I’ve never had issues with case bulging in my reloads or factory ammo but I know the issue your referring to and CMMG has said it’s most likely caused by over pressured rounds being paired with the wrong buffer weight

Would be better in 40 S&W just to save money since the 8 inch barrel would likely put it above most pistol 10mm velocity

@@jimtheedcguy4313it's not flawed because you'll hardly ever lay hands on nary a damn round of store bought 10mm that's loaded above 40S&W anyway without ordering some boutique ammo online. Other than that, your options are to pay more for what's essentially 40S&W in a longer case, online order $1+ per round boutique ammo, or start handloading. Even then, there are still better options than 10mm out there anyway if you're handloading or depending on boutique ammo manufacturers.. like 9x25 Dillon, .40 super, .45 Winchester mag, 460 Rowland, etc
You should try 10mm subsonics through a 45 suppressor, as 45 is normally subsonic. So that suppressor isn't designed to deal with that much gas. You'll want a larger volume suppressor for 10mm supers, or get subsonic ammo.

I have a 9mm Stribog A2, for the money its one of the best Pcc's easily. Its built like a tank, has a smooth trigger and a super light recoil.
I definitely prefer 9mm PCC due to the longer ranges having significantly less bullet drop and the ability to keep the sights on the bullseye even when mag dumping.

False, the MP5 was issued sometimes with burst modes that were documented to be very effectively used by operators like the SAS. The closest we civilians could get to that burst mode with new semi-auto versions is with a binary, which I love on mine ❤

Hence why I said "new semi-auto versions." I know most people can't pony up $40,000+ for a full auto mp5, but they can pony up $4,000 for a binary SP5 or maybe $3000 for a binary clone. Then they would essentially have a MP5 with a burst mode.

@@DOHCside1 I tried that on both the unity mounts, the GBRS mounts. You have fun aiming that way. Backup sights are outdated and outmoded at this point in time.
Bruh, the MP5K served me extremely well. Granted, it was customed by a serious gunsmith, but it never failed me. The trigger was the (maybe) first thing that was replaced, I'll admit that. But, still, pound-for-pound it's a beast.
I bought a bunch of 10mm for my m&p core 2 but not a fan of the recoil so I think I found another way to shed some rounds.
I hope these find their way to the U.S. at a more mainstream presence. 10mm is great and getting myself a RIA 10mm 2011 for Christmas. I’d be curious on Micah’s impressions of it.

This PCC would be my deep wilderness hiking and backpacking and truck gun! A lot 10mm rounds that are loaded hot is very good bear deterant. Especially with hard cast lead ammo!
