I had a 2003 LX Sport that had amber turn signals independent of the brake lights. I think they did away with those mid-year as a cost-cutting measure. GREAT VIDEO!
I would be probing the connector with a multimeter. Make sure you got the rite wires. It maybe the ground that’s switched not the live Can’t wait to see the next vid and the fix
Hi, I created a new harness for turn signals, I didnt touched the original harness at all. I splited the turn/brake signal cable (the double color one) just few cm next to the female connector. Then I wire a new brake cable from the center brake light (I use the special three way crimp connector) and crimp it to the original turn signal cable that leads to the connector. This way I got the brake light solved. For the turn signal, I drilled a hole inside the two ex-light bulb holes (yes, they were used for turn signals for civilian version back in 2003 or so). Put the new harness (use the ba15s sockets - similar dimensions, maybe smaller) and put there two green 20w bulbs. The leds was my first idea, but when I tried some with resistors, it just hyperflashed and the resistor had like 1000degrees. So I found some standard bulbs (that are street legal - yeah in your country almost all of the leds bulbs are banned if not from factory)
I think there was like 4 version of the rear light harness + police often put there the flasher for the police lights, so they messed up everything around. I recommend to measure what each wire do before any work
Should have borrowed the set off of mine when you were up the last time. That concentration look was the same one you had we bumping into someone and looking at their sad little face when you told them what you thought. 😂 Do you need to hit the nuts and bolt pot over at mine for spares?

Muito bom. Tem que reaproveitar tudo.
wish we could just run us spec cars in us spec, save all this chopping up wiring screwing lights into the bodywork/relocating reverse lights

I don’t know what you mean 😂, I always like to have a rummage in your pots 😉
