  • This video is a longer-term update on the Reolink wireless security camera I installed on the RV about 8 months ago. For the last 2 months, we have been using it on the boat, and I have included some footage from that. Overall, I like the camera. It works well and has some neat features for an economically priced security cam.

THANK YOU for the LTU. Appears to be a good, inexpensive substitute for a RV backup camera as well

Would sort of work but have a substantial lag compared to dedicated rear view cam and need a WiFi router.

I have a different REOLink Camera in my RV, I mounted the solar panel INSIDE my rear window and in the last year I have yet to have to charge it even once!

Thanks Ray! I have a general question: Have you compared your Rv living expenses to your boating?
I’m thinking Rv Boondocking is cheaper per month since you can access big box department stores much easier. And fuel is more expensive at a marina. Boating seems much less stressful given the amount of boat traffic.

Its seems pretty close to the same for our lifestyle and travel distances. But really depends on how much and how far you travel either could be more or less expensive.

@@LoveYourRV... also did you test or use two way communication on this camera??

Yes it works, but sound quality is poor and it's very susceptible to wind noise. It only has a little speaker and very tiny mic hole.
