First off, great work! I love talking shop.
9/16 aspect ratio is interesting. Did you originally post to Tik Tok?

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So. So. The real real reasonnn!!! My garage is kinda tight in width...and if I shoot in landscapes then my sword gonna be in landscape, which means..Imma bang it in a loooooooot of stuff. So I shot this in portrait mode to get the best fit... So it isn't a social media reason ,it is a physical space issue .HAHAHHAHA
I really gonna clean the garage...lol

i dont mean to be disrespectful but your not actually building a sword are you?" Your assembling one from manufactured different parts. i do like that hilt though very nice

All good my friend! It is a very good and valid question, absolutely not disrespectful at all! But you are right, i am using the term 'building' rather loosely, kinda like 'build-a-bear' no one is actually working with fabric but picking parts, or like 'build your own katana!' and that is like picking parts to assemble. So as a swordslipping, which is the historical term for sword-assemblier, i take it that they technically are building something together. kinda like ikea kit, to 'build a shed out of a kit' as per say.
Thank you for asking that question, especially in such a kind way. Very much appreciate it :)
