What I find interesting is to watch the Corps after the field goal. They are all wanting to run on the field but are waiting for permission. Then that senior runs out from the left and it's like a bunch of puppies realizing, one by one, they can join in the fun as they notice the others are running onto the field.
Actually, one of the traditions for Aggie home games (at least when I was there) is that if A&M wins, the Yell Leaders run on the field at the end of the game and then the Corps freshmen (except for those in the band) run after them, catch them, and then carry them off to a fountain nearby called "Fish Pond" because the freshmen (the "fish") drop them in it. Then the Yell Leaders do a quick victory yell practice on the steps of the building next to the fountain. Though I'm sure in this case many more than just the Corps freshmen were running out on the field!😁
That's got to suck being the kicker knowing that at some point the game will most likely rest on your shoulders. Takes balls to be that guy, risking the whole team hating you, your career on one kick.

Those are ROTC students. Texas A&M's Corps of Cadets. The ones you see in the end zone area are freshmen. There's a tradition after every A&M home win, the freshmen run onto the field (and tackle the nearest Yell Leader lol). This time EVERYONE rushed the field haha.
