I honestly cannot imagine how music could get any heavier than this. Buster is an absolute genius producing this brand of metal, it is so unique, so brutal it actually gets beautiful. I love Catastrophize and Shell, but the sad, Vildhjarta-like riff at 13:41 sends me to another dimension.
Anyone knows if there's gonna be an instrumental version for this album?

All I'll say is definitely wait until you think you're in the headspace you want for it, because I'm a little sad I didn't wait longer either, it deserves the most attention etc (and clearly you know that, just encouraging your stance on waiting!)

Oh and btw @DrewFortune97 - I just have to say, that in many ways , this album is defining your trip too. I remember one of your first reaction videos, and followed, listened up untill now. You are doing an AMAZING job. I think, mostly because, it seems to me as your musical boundries was pushed, because you openened your heart to it. Back when Tool was changing your perception of what the more heavier genre was made of. To see through noise, and find beauty. Truly inspiring and very fun to watch as a musician.
I think you had a journey..towards better in many aspects. And for what it´s worth. You are amazing at this. There a small handfull of very genuine people doing this. Pure musical souls. You need to have somekind of life experience, good or bad, to come this far. So...
Thank you for sharing Drew. Thank you so much. If you EVAR become SUPA famous and end up in Denmark. Were going for beers, my treat!! And bring @SteveOGRock aswell.
You guys, allthough humble, take space in peoples lives and actually become like an integrated part of the things, that we actually like to do. That is..meaningful.

It's pretty good, but I still prefer the styles of Valde and Detestor. Would've loved to hear more exploration into the Vittring sound (one of the most unique metal tracks I've ever heard). Detestor is still the heaviest album ever IMO.

I can't remember who Buster was talking to but he essentially said Valde was him making the music he wanted to hear the most. Whereas he's cooperated more with Calle with this album. I personally don't see how Detestor is even close to as heavy as this, but Valde I definitely see. My one critique of Valde is that it almost got boring at some parts because it droned low notes for the sake of heaviness, whereas this feels genuinely destructive with minimal droning.
Idk, I could see some people falling off the wagon when a band goes in a direction they didn't exactly want, but man, this is exactly what I wanted.
Earthless is my favorite from Valde, but Vittring is definitely a runner up. I enjoyed the lyrics of Dehumanize so much though that it's probably the one I listen to the most.

Yeah we’re probably not going to get something heavier than this for a while so I guess I’ll just go listen to Spilly Cave and let some vibrato massage my ears and brain as I am recovering.

Completely different type of music. Bell Witch isn't even the heaviest Funeral Doom.

I just can't seem to get on board with these guys. The whole thing just sounds so over-compressed, messy and almost unintelligible. Shame because I really enjoy Vildjharta.

missed that insane opening riff after the high gain bending notes in Blood spilled. everyone doing these 10min album reviews/listens reactions are missing the heaviest stuff in the album, skipped entire opening of LifeLess Deathless cmon INSANE opening, then proceeds to play the most of the pre released singles sick bruh
