That’s it
I want all of these muscle up tutorial people to give their body weight and lat pull-down numbers.
awesome bro - i just did 2 muscle ups with both feets in a band, feels great. ty a lot
Awesome bro! Keep going glad to hear the progress
Thank you. You're very detailed. Hopefully I can do muscle up one day since I can only do 10 chin ups, 9 pull ups and 1 minute dead hang right now.
No problem!
thanks
No problem
Super easy 😂 yeah right. It's damn hard. Very technical and timing sensitive
I like the moon crescent shape idea. You nailed it. I’m an old man learning pull ups. Is that possible?
Thank you 🙏, yes 100% possible! Start slow with a band and work your way up. You got this and keep us updated!
Nice video man, I've done my first unbanded muscle up a few weeks ago and I'm looking to polish my form but I noticed that if I try to do them after a heavy set of pull ups or weighted pull ups (with reasonable resting in between) I'll fail to do even 1 muscle up. Whereas if I do them at the beginning of the workout I can do them without problem. Is this normal?
When you don’t have a lot of muscular endurance that’s normal - it will improve, but my suggestion is to start with the exercise you want to improve the most and then regress. It’s normal to have muscular fatigue
Make a video for pull ups training please.
Sure! Learning your first pull up?
What brand and type of liquid chalk that you recommend for pull up? I read that not all liquid chalks are the same.
Honestly they are all pretty similar from my experience
First one I achieved on a rickety piece of wood or something and it collapsed on me while I was celebrating. Trauma 😱
Damn that’s scary!! Best to do it on a solid base next time and you will be fine

Just did my first MU. Never practiced or tried it more than a few times.
When I left the house I knew I'm about to succeed, it's more about timing and visualization of the necessary moves.
Only 3 things to focus on: The momentum stretch forward, the chest pull up, and the head dive.
Think of sending your head as forward as possible. That's the only "thought" I had during the movement.
Everything else is automatic.
Band weight ?
That’s up to you !
i hate the name of the exercise because someone can learn to "muscle up" who are completely skinny & just have the basics of bodyweight training acquired. But if you make someone do something like pushups or pull ups for the rest of their life, I feel like they would gain more obvious muscle on their body than the person who was doing "muscle ups." Lol. But I am here to watch the video 🤠🍿👍🏽📺👀
A proper muscle up requires strength and skill, a lot of people do incorrect or kipping muscle ups - it’s easy to learn the muscle up, it’s hard to do it properly. Enjoy the video
I feel jacked after a set of muscle ups
Hi!
Hi!
@@Carnivorouscalisthenics any tips on how long to rest with pull-ups (max: one)
Do at least a 3 minute rest, and do negatives up to 5 reps (aiming for 5 to 10 second negative each set)
