@@CalisthenicsFamily I skipped bands and false grip and went straight to doing muscle up. I did however do weighted pull ups and weigted dips for about 6 months to get strength there. (I have been training for 15 years tho so that has helped also) But I'm stuck doing only one lol how do we do multiple in a row is that technique or strength or combined? I wana be able to do like 3 or 4 in row shud I incorporate bands?

This video is authentic and very helpful. The description and demonstration of the technique is excellent. I had been practising to do a muscle up for 9 weeks and couldn't get past using the second thinnest resistence band. Within 5 days of using this technique I was doing unassisted muscle ups. Next week I'll be 67. A big thanks to both of you!

Hello, yesterday I got my first muscle Up, after of several attempts and practicing pull exercises during two years...I got 43 years and practicing calistenia two years. I love the calistenia, so I train daily in my own gym.

I was pretty good at pull-ups this time last year but after moving countries and back again, I can do 2 pull-ups only. I am moving back to Vietnam after Uni in under 2 months. I'm going to train hard on the explosive pull-ups soon. There are pull-up bars on the beach in Da Nang, Vietnam. I progressed so fast using bands for pull-ups last year. I could do 15 high-quality pull-ups without bands in under 3 months. So, I will train well and try and get that first muscle up before 2025 on a beautiful morning or evening at the beach. Wish me luck.

Deffinetly going to try this workout when i will reach appropriate level. Right now i am focusing on basics, increasing my pull-ups, dips, push-ups and squats repetitions 💪
I would use the band to perform more repetitions with better form.

smth i did to help me do muscleups was practicing straight-ish arm explosive pullups and getting the bar as low as i could on my body. your body is pretty far behind the bar but this helped me progress smoothly into pulling my body in to the bar and getting my chest over it to do the dip portion :)

Exactly got the mistake i was doing , trying to do straight pull up instead of going diagonally more , will try again . Great video dudes❤❤❤

I can do a bunch of pull-ups no problem with great form. And dips are super easy. But for whatever reason I haven't figured out how to combine it for a muscle up. Hope this helps.
I actually like the tutorial it was far better than the other ones I’ve seen. The method that you used was great. The only problem is the participant that was unwilling to partake or put any effort in what he was doing. People like that will spoil your video. But you are the teacher so I have given you a thumbs up and enjoy the church tutorial
I'm in the process of learning calisthenics techniques. I'm at this stage very soon, but I know that this art can't be rushed, so I'm giving myself at least 8 months to get a clean muscle-up done.

Awesome instruction #50k. I am an older guy who was always impressed by this movement. I can’t think of anything that develops all the muscles of the upper body better than the muscle up. Win, lose, or draw, please keep these videos coming as they are great instruction!
Im doing purple band muscle ups all day .
I can do green band also.
Naked cant quite do it.
Just having the spring from the band gets me over the bar.
Maybe in a few years I'll be able to do it.

One quick question, do you guys suggest starting with calisthenics even while I had a wrist injury in the past? How can I prevent it from hurting again? It seems like a very interesting world to start getting into. I love going to the gym and swimming so I already have some basic strenght.

Tnx for this video, I am having some problems with the muscle up to. I can do it on the rings but i cant do it on the bar. With this bands i could get mz front lever faster and also help with some other skils.

Another great video. I only have access to an outdoor set of bars, here in the UK the bars are wet and cold at the moment. Normally do my workout on way to work in the dark. I'm sure I'm plenty strong enough for the muscle up, just need the technique. I like how it works going to a easier and easier band then no band. Fingers crossed I win. Cheers guys

I need resistance band as a supporter to me for every calisthenics exercise I do as I workout alone.
