It's about a man in the 1930s who became obsessed with a patient or his with tuberculosis, and that obsession continued after his patient died, 2 years later he dug up her body and lived with that body in his home (having sex with it, kissing it, all that shit) for seven years until his family discovered it and disclosed it immediately to authorities.
Being a drummer myself, I have always loved the technical nature of the percussion tracks in BDM's music. Their drummer is a monster behind a drum kit!

The Black Dahlia Murder has been easily my favorite death metal band for years. I've seen them live at least 8 times and I've never been disappointed by this band and their music ever. And I'm telling you you need to check out more of their stuff especially the album Nocturnal. And I know you just said you like the gutter all type of vocals and I'm telling you this band has been one of my favorites for the longest time one because of their solos and melodic type of death metal also the second reason I love this band so much is because they really know how to mix up the vocals from the highs to the mids to the Low's. And trust me the more you dive into their music the more you'll see what I'm talking about. I really think you would become a huge fan of this band the deeper you dive.

Fuck, they do some good shit.

Great song, but pretty low on my list of their best singles. I’d check “Moonlight Equilibrium” or “Nightbringers”, the latter being lower energy, but awesome. Trevor typically does more lows with his vocals.

Saw these guys years ago with Chimera and Mnemic. Was as fucking awesome show. Drummer is left handed, kit is set up backwards, which is interesting.
