Looking to do the same to my '76. Someone welded on a bolt on hardtail kit to this thing. Any advise on finding a replacement rear frame section?
It would be easier to find another frame. The attachment to this HD numbered frame is why these efforts were made. If you still want to try it’s up to you. I made each piece myself pulling together many resources
