I'm a former police officer I was out on a traffic stop one night. The vehicle I stopped had six people in it the driver had a felony warrant. While I was trying effect a arrest everyone piled out of the vehicle. It was to the point I was going to have to use my weapon to defend myself. At the right time four Hell's Angles hualing a broken down bike in a pickup saw what was going on and stopped. One of them said Ask us to help you and I did. They knew by me asking for assistance they were covered from liability. Thing went my way thanks to them saved me from having to use my weapon and that could have gone bad too.
I love to hear that kind of stuff. Most of the time they stand up for what’s right you gotta respect it
That's a great story and I didn't always see eye to eye with the police as a young man but I would have definitely gave a hand if an officer was having a hard time with a perp and every time I get pulled over in NYC I let them know that
i dont beleave that either.. they woud never help you arrest someone.. lol that is the funniest shit ive heard in while..you think they care about liabilty. they would be more worried about there patch being pulled for helping cop make arrests..thats them being a rat..and i couldnt see them doing that
HA of LV do alot of charity work, so do their biggest rivals Vagos and Mongols. Vagos President himself came to a fundraiser car wash to help pay for the funeral of a couple kids lost in a house fire few years ago.
I smell bullshit…
I'm always on edge with biker gangs from what I've seen and heard. I was on a long line for beer once at an outdoor concert and a big Hells Angels member walked straight up to me, looked me in the eyes, and said," I'm getting in front of you!". I just moved back and waved my hand for him to cut in! He just laughed, patted me on the shoulder, and said, "Just kidding", but he scared the life out of me! LOL!
Kind of a dick move but kinda badass lol
@@MOONEYDashCam HAHA! Yes. I like a cold beer, but I wasn't about to die for one! :)
@Mitch McConnell I always wondered how far he was willing to go if I had snapped back at him. Out of 100 people on line I had to be the lucky one - GEEZ!
@Mitch McConnell LOL Happens all the time.
Joseph Consoli, just wanted to point out that they're not biker gangs, they're Motorcycle Clubs.
Sign outside our local chapters clubhouse..-"Believe in life after death?.- Trespass here & find out"
Always loved that. No punk crime happens in that part of town.
They keep their area secure it’s like having a police precinct around
No, just meth sales etc etc
You are delusional
Man every time you stop outside an MC clubhouse n get out with your camera filming you realise it could go pear shape for you and no amount of explaining would stop an instant kicking !!! Would hate to see that happen but it's on the cards if you keep doing this.
I respect the risk that comes with doing this
Could you imagine if he explains himself by saying he was just interested in looking into maybe a membership and he ends up with a full patch or maybe even being a chapter president totally by accident then gets indited for all kinds of capital punishment crimes and doesn't rat and ends up on death row then gets executed by firing squad...man that would be terrible he better be careful
@@NEUTRALDROP 🤔
There is risk inherent in everything in life, including never taking any.
Factss
If you don’t think bikers rat on each other just as much as mobsters you haven’t done enough research into bikers.
After some comments about this I think you’re right it might be because the mobsters have higher profile cases
What about the LEMC clubs ?
@@MOONEYDashCam I'm wondering if it is because they prosecute mob guys under the RICO law, so the prison time is much longer, and more incentive to flip. I don't think bikers are prosecuted under RICO, but I might be wrong.
@@HamiltonRb they are considered organized crime so I’m not sure but it’s something to think about
@@HamiltonRb depends on the club, but yes there are %1 clubs prosecuted under RICO which is bullshit how are you going to condemn clubs for what is clearly being done independently and are the minority of the members. If whole clubs were enterprises like they try and say, there would be a lot more arrests or the govt is claiming incompetence can't have it both ways. Those of us who ride aren't the end, they will start to come for AMA clubs, social clubs, country clubs are safe most of the old govt gangsters are working on their handicap.
Outlaw was a tag given to us
When you said you don’t think Unknown Bikers are drawing the same attention as H.A. I knew you were new. All these guys are on the law enforcement radar, and for good reason. You seem like a good dude. Stay away from these guys and their clubhouses uninvited. I’m a local rider from LI/Queens 18 years no club affiliation. You’re breaking some rules these guys are crazy grumpy. I don’t want to see you In a messed up situation that’s easily avoided.
Well said
Yea and a lot of them are on meth and cocaine lol. That’s what makes them so grumpy and angry. That’s how they ride for 16 hrs straight doing 90 mph. Bikers love meth
Nahhh let the dummies learn the hard way. All clowns like him have to do is simple research. If he's too lazy to do that oh well.
Dude ur slow ! U should just leave we don't need u getting hurt to tell us biker gangs/clubs are dangerous!!!!!
Yeah dude you are 100% right. These guys don’t like being filmed by anyone nor do they just let some like first amendment auditor film their club house. You’re gunna get a Molotov thrown at you
New Zealand had the very first Angels chapter outside of the USA, it was fully sanctioned by Sonny Barger, I guess they figured that they then had the world covered.
“Now’s you’s can’t leave…”-Sonny/A Bronx Tale
Supposedly that was a true story. They took their motorcycles too and the kids on the street threw shit at them.

Hey Mooney, 🙌 thanks for the ride 🛻 , enjoyed the video my man 👍
I appreciate it as always irons👊👍
For the most part these guys stay underground and don’t like to draw attention for various reasons. Your tour clearly was not the smartest thing you can do. Stay Safe
i said the same thing one rule all outlaw bikers go by no photos
The way you troll those who complain about the cleanliness of your truck and driving kills me. 😂😂😂😂😂. Great video - as always!!
I was at the Lone star cafe in Manhattan for a Robert Gordon concert with my brother around 1988-89 when I backed up into someone and turned to see an enormous man with his back to me..there was a Hells Angels patch right at my face level. I'm 5'9" but the guy never even acknowledged my faux pas.😀 thought I was in for a bullet or a beating but no trouble happened at all!
Most don't cause trouble for stupid shit, unless it's a prospect or new patch trying to make a name for themselves
The P-40 AVG “Flying Tigers” Hells Angels squadron was the origin according to the HAMC website & an Uncle of mine who was a member in the 70’s of the Fontana, CA chapter long ago. Howard Hughes had nothing to do with it. I take no stance or side in the debate, just passing along what my Uncle “Wolf” told me when I was a kid.
I do know the largest gang IS the “Intel Agencies”
Thanks for the info!
Finally i wish you would do more on the motorcycle clubs. Its ve r y intense interesting content

Great video, Mooney. Thanks for taking the time to produce & share. I don’t know if you are familiar with the show “Blue Bloods”, but the area where that customized van is parked, that exact block specifically & the red & black building across the street that was their clubhouse, is used A LOT in that show for both interior & exterior shots
Wow I didn’t know that
@@MOONEYDashCam It’s probably the only show I watch on regular TV. I recognized the building on the corner that had “Exchange” written on it. You’re doing an amazing job, keep it up.

I live in Minneapolis and the former leader of the local Hell's Angels chapter. Pat Matters. Not only did he flip; he set up and some would say entrapped his entire crew. They all went to prison. Pat walked. And after a few years the clubhouse is open again. Business as usual. That story made all the local papers. But We really don't have too many mob guys here.
This was a great tour of old and recent motorcycle gang hangouts. And I agree, it’s cool that they don’t rat on each other to the cops. Gotta respect that! And your driving tour throughout this video was cool; enjoy the scenery of my former home. I’m seriously thinking of purchasing an electric Vespa, driving out to Hell’s Angels on L.I., and applying for membership. Hmmmm, I wonder how that meeting will go? 😱🤣
Thanks Mooney, you’re killing it!
You may return home with a pair of vespa handlebars sticking out of ur butt!
Not gangs but clubs. Just saying 😁

Ahhhh welcome!
HA is the dominant 1% club in the NY area. For awhile it was contested on LI where the Pagans were based. After the infamous shooting at the tatoo convention in '99 (I think), 73 Pagans were arrested and HA filled the vacuum. Used to ride and rubbed elbows with HA members a bit and always found them to be stand up guys. At least in the situations I was involved with. I'm sure they weren't so nice under different circumstances.
Don't know much about the Unknown Bikers. I think they have/had a CH in Williamsburg on Union(?) that I passed a few times.
Not up to date with the scene, but HA ruled the roost. Lesser clubs had to pay tribute. Maybe some dispute is what led to the vests taken.
Wow, props to you for filming the HA Club house. The HA represent much of the organized crime where I live in Vancouver Canada. 2 or 3 were murdered in broad day light in the past couple years. The local club house would have sent someone out to get you if you did that around here. Great video as always!
Canadian clubs seem to have a lot more violence than others for whatever reason. I'm not sure if it has to do with the large smuggling that goes across the Native reservations with the US or if its something else. They have been having some gigantic busts up there.
I’ll make my way up there one day 😉
@@alaskansummertime seems like Canadian and Australian clubs are more violent these days then the American clubs.
@@JimD410 In Canada you don't serve much time when caught.
@@brad6576 that makes sense. Yeah in America you get slammed down for 40 years on a drug charge.
I noticed that the unknowns are flying red and white color's which usually indicates support of the dominant mc in the area. And you can believe the 81s didn't retaliate for good reason. Because they don't back down for nothing. So something is obviously going on here we have no idea about. But good job on the video.🤘🤘🤘
The policeman and several others look like members of the village people.
That Was crazy shit Bro!! Thank God nothing Bad Happened.
Gee, Mooney never told us if the "Unknowns" got all their stuff back from the Hell's Angels?

@@MOONEYDashCam yeah I did! Lol hard to miss the colors!! I've known that MC all my life, used to live down the street from one of the Club houses in LA

You dont have to sneak around to get a look at the HA hempstead clubhouse. The club typically has about half dozen public events throughout the year which members of the public may attend, usually for an entrance fee.
When you were saying unknown bikers I didn’t know that was the name 😂
Hey dude, your truck looks clean to me. Great video...as always

Don’t get disillusioned behind the lense. Remember these guys got make a living off of crime, warrants, paranoid, mistake you from another MC or 5-0. Like what would you’ve done if a guy called you out and swore he seen you before in colors or in uniform? Or thought you were a mark they robbed coming back for revenge? Just saying the biggest mistake you can make is assuming they won’t hurt you in broad daylight, in front of cameras, in front of witnesses. They don’t give a fuck about going to jail. Be safe man, hope you carry mace, taser, batton, an a piece.
Support your local 81!!!
I was slightly concerned about your driving but nevertheless I enjoyed your video
Haha you wouldn’t be the first to say that
They deep as hell.
I'm pretty sure the Unknowns started out as a street gang in NYC back in the 1950's-1960's and later became a Motor cycle club.
I think you’re right
@@MOONEYDashCam You should do some stories on the old school greaser gangs and their mob ties.

Yeah Angels clubhouse gets surrounded by 100 rival bikers I bet if you would have looked at the whole picture you would have noticed that you guys were surrounded by H.A. s if you don't want to have a personal encounter with a grizzly bear then don't poke the bear
This kid is a clown you noticed he had nothing to say to the guy that pulled up 😂😂😂😂 he's one of those rats they like to talk but has nothing to say when he in front of you typical snitch
Hells Angels numbers might be high, but they're numbers are high in the west, the east has more feared chapters
And I asked you recently if you could make a video of Sunny Indelicatos Sozial Club!!??......
Your fan from Germany :)
Thanks again for the videos and the work!!
I was just looking thru videos and see that you follow ny mobsters. When you were driving to the division st club house you almost past the motion lounge. It’s the club sonny black owned. He was the mobster joe pistone used to infiltrate the mob. I lived two blocks away. My brother worked for sonny from time to time

Funny thing is you were never going to get it back anyway
I grew up in Hempstead on Fulton Avenue I've been a 81 supporter since I was a teenager much love and respect for the red and white
Nice job Mooney. What stuff did the Hells Angels have & how did they take possession from thje unknowns.?
That’s all stuff that’s undocumented but the story is that on Friday they took some patches and vests from the unknown bikers and Sunday they came to get them back
@@MOONEYDashCam Thanx Mooney.Very nice --u reply to questions. Congrats on over 30K subs.
...Never knew about this, and the media usually does not bring nationwide attention to incidents involving the Hells Angels with rivals, unless the rival is a fairly large MC with close to the strength and number of chapters as the "81" does (such as the Mongols, the Outlaws, or the Pagans, for a few examples)... Thanks for the heads-up...
people don't realize when shit hits the fan its people like this that will protect them not all bikers are bad people infact I'd rather have these bikers next to me then anyone else the bad apples ruin it for the rest very sad
I bet the unknown bikers tipped off the cops it was gonna happen. I bet they didn't get there cuts back either.

No disrespect to any club.!! Out of all the bike clubs around today I think HA is at the top in a lot of categories in a good way.
They are the biggest no doubt
the truck dirty part, i would swear you have part Vancouver Islander in you.

You have a great concept on your channel, very interesting and you get to learn about it while seeing the places which helps a lot to vision the story you are telling.
I grew up around these guys in the late 70’s and 80’s in Williamsburg…
Drinking shots on a sunday morning digging the people❤
They just don’t come across as tough crazy bastards like in the 1960s in the 1970s of the biker gangs back then. These guys look like they’re just all playing dress up, it’s just not the same and they probably will have jobs in the daytime like bus driver dockworker accountants. It’s really kind of funny 😂
Since you're such an expert, when are you writing your book? You want to really read a book about bikers, read "The Rebels: A brotherhood of Outlaws" by Daniel Wolfe. It was originally written as a Master thesis in Sociology, then his PhD thesis, and then a book. There's no value judgements, but it is a bit dry, because of the format. Its still used to this day in many Sociology classes in Canadian Universities.

I noticed that the "unknown bikers" had at least one black member that I could see. It is well know. That the Hell's Angels have no black members, but the same can be said for the Outlaws, Bandidos, Mongols, Pagans, Vagos, Warlocks, Devil's desciples, SOS, Gypsy Jockers etc... Personally I don't care it's just the way it is.
I used to live in Hempstead. Thats one of the worst areas. Something shady always going on. On a side note there is a liquor store across the street with the best prices. I always found it interesting how their club house was there in the middle of the Hood. Obviously they aren't afraid of anything.
They got the Powell peralta skateboard company as there emblem lol
It's called Death's Head. A Dead Head is a fan of The Grateful Dead.

You're welcome.
Are you still breathing? This, in Australia would have been your end dude. Brave man.
Check out the Hells Angels stories in Ken Kesey's _Electric Kool Aid Acid Test_. I dig how you're all nonchalant walking past the clubhouse gate.

@@MOONEYDashCam It's been a long time since I read it, but it was written by Tom Wolfe, and Kesey (who wrote "One Flew Over the Cockoo's Nest") is merely a character in the book.

A lot of MC’s have to go through the Hell’s Angels to get authorization to be recognized as a Motorcycle Chapter. The Outlaw’s are the same way. I can’t remember what the rivalry was between the Hell’s Angels and the Outlaws. It’s just safer to stay as an Independent. Less headaches and problems with the law.
